I cant deal with that sort of behaviour. i dont snoop around nobody and i will not tolerate anyone doing it to me either. doesnt mean i've got anything to hide. i just appreciate a bit of privacy and i accord my partner the same.
Fashion / Re: Safe Skin Brightening Tips, Please!!!! by angel101(f): 9:55am On Oct 25, 2007
i have to agree here with moodylady that the face is mostly darker than other parts of the body as it is the most exposed. however the safest way to get rid of the darkness is by exfoliating, washing regularly, never go to bed with ur make up on and drink plenty of water. just cleanse and moisturize ur face.
Fashion / Re: Can You Do Without Make Up? by angel101(f): 9:41am On Oct 25, 2007

This is such a pity. The government needs to wake up to their responsibility to safe guard the lives and property of Nigerians.
I pray Tuface recovers fully.

Culture / Re: Nigerians Don't Commit Suicide? by angel101(f): 4:14pm On Sep 30, 2007
Nigeriand rarely commit suicide because we are naturally enjoyment loving people and extremely resilient.
Talking about stats, since we don't have any official ones lets try personal info.
I personally do not know a single nigerian who has commited suicide but i at least know a handful of english people who have.
Seun has mentioned 1 nigerian student who took his own life. how many others? how many are possible being covered up? how many people die in their sleep?

I am of the opinion that nigerians rarely commit suicide. its just not our style.
Culture / Re: African Widows And Traditional Rites: What's Your Position? by angel101(f): 3:31pm On Sep 30, 2007
The practice against women and widows in particular in some parts of Africa IS BARBARIC and should not be made to look any different! It should be frowned upon and stopped.
Culture / Re: Northerner Has Spoken by angel101(f): 3:18pm On Sep 30, 2007
I totally agree with David. It is not enough to wish our problems away but sounding optimistic. something has to be said and more has to be done.
Politics / Re: A Sweet Wind Of Change Is Blowing In Nigeria! by angel101(f): 9:13am On Sep 30, 2007
Well, both sides have valid points but i would say, if we all individually play our own part, make subtle changes then we will be on our way to great change.

willywilly:

This is the hand work of oppressors, the same thing happened and still happening in Nigeria.
We shouldn't forget, more than 2.5 million IBOS who was massacred by FULANI/HAUSA and YORUBAS in 1967, because they wanted freedom from doom Nigeria.
Today the same people are carrying out mass killing against they people of IJAW.
As the blood of innocent Darfur women and children killed will continue to torment those Sudanes who commited that devilish act,
So shall the Blood of innocent IBO Children and women, innocent Ijaw children and women who was massacred by Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba will continue to torment them, they killer tribes.

Well said bruv

darfur:

if ette and her "honorable" colleagues could spend a little time to bring this issue up to national and international levels it will do a little good

they are much too busy with more pre$$ing issues
Politics / Re: Etteh Is Confirmed To Be A Suspected Thief: Now What? by angel101(f): 8:08am On Sep 28, 2007
The law should be applied accordingly! she must be punished for her offences. whatever people choose to call it, an offence/offences have been committed and must not go unpunished.

being a hair dresser does not make u ineligible for office. u guys need to go and find out what the criteria is for this office. All said, the woman should be sent home without further delay and dealt with accordingly.

Politics / Re: Babangidas Famous Hilltop Mansion by angel101(f): 6:02am On Sep 21, 2007
Jakumo:

If those interior shots are authentic then Babangida's amazing wealth is only exceeded by his ( his wife's ? ) bad taste in decor. The snow-blinding white color scheme of the second picture looks like the interior of a wedding cake, while the first picture shows enough ornately pretentious kitchy furniture and trim to choke a horse.

Liberace meets the Salvation Army furniture is always fun to look at anyways, and hey, maybe behind all this loathing, I'm actually just jealous of our former military dictator's money mountain.

LMAO!!!!
