Since then, manufacturers have come out with new perfumes and fragrances regularly and consistently. From strong musk smells to light floral fragrances, different aromas are being invented depending on the manufacturer’s choice and the trend of the times.... As a result, some trendy perfumes have become really costly. Below is a list of the top ten most expensive perfumes in the world. 1. Clive Christian No. 1 Imperial Majesty Perfume – $12,721.89 per ounce Take note that it is $12,721.89 per ounce. Even if the price is for the bottle, it will still take a lot of people aback. The whole bottle contains 16.9 ounces of Clive Christian’s signature No. 1 fragrance. The bottle itself is made of Baccarat crystal. A brilliant cut white diamond weighing five carats adorns the bottle. It also boasts of an 18-carat solid gold collar. This is a very rare perfume, as only 10 bottles were ever made, thus ensuring it will become a highly sought after collectible item in the future. 2. Baccarat Les Larmes Sacrees de Thebes – $6,800 per ounce The company that created the perfume bottle for Clive Christian’s most expensive perfume (see number 1) involved itself in the perfume business in the late 1990s with a trio of limited edition aromas. Only a small number of Les Larmes Sacrees de Thebes were made, thus making it the most expensive of the three. Since it was created by Baccarat, the container was obviously made with crystal and shaped like a pyramid. To evoke the smell of the ancient Middle East, a perfume out of frankincense and myrrh was prepared for this limited edition fragrance. Just add gold, and you would have all the gifts brought by the Three Kings to Jesus. 3. Clive Christian No. 1 – $2,150 per ounce For those who cannot afford the outrageous price of the Imperial Majesty perfume, Clive Christian has a regular version using a less expensive container. Not that the bottle is cheap, because it is still made of lead crystal especially handmade for the perfume. A small diamond weighing a third of a carat adorns the neck of the bottle. The aroma of the perfume itself is exquisite, as it combines bergamot, natural gum resin, orris, sandalwood and vanilla, as well as extracts from the ylang ylang plant grown in Madagascar. These ingredients are not readily available all year round, and their scarcity contributes to the perfume’s high price. 4. Hermes 24 Faubourg Perfume – $1,500 per ounce Hermes made only a thousand bottles of this perfume that is especially designed for women. The bottles are made of St. Louis crystal and shaped in a soft square that evokes a sense of movement. Maurice Roucel created it in 1995. The aroma emitted by 24 Faubourg is light and floral, and the effect is long lasting. 5. Caron Poivre – $1,000 per ounce Both men and women can use this perfume. It comes in a stunning limited edition Baccarat bottle made of pristine crystal. The collar of the bottle is encrusted in white gold. The perfume emits a sophisticated smell that is strong and aggressive. Ingredients for it include cloves, red and black pepper, and other spices. 6. Jean Patou Joy Perfume – $800 per ounce This perfume was first released in 1936 and was voted as the Scent of the Century by the Fragrance Foundation in the FiFi Awards of 2000, beating out the arguably more popular Chanel No. 5. The aroma is extremely floral, as an ounce of this perfume requires 336 roses and 10,000 jasmine flowers. 7. JAR Bolt of Lightning Perfume – $765 per ounce Joel A. Rosenthal, a jeweler, designed this perfume that is marketed as having the smell of air after a lightning strike. Observe more closely and you will probably sniff the fragrance of freshly cut plants, ripened fruits and mature flowers. The fragrance will last long, as you can still smell a hint of musk at the end of the day. It is packaged in specially designed hand cut bottles. 8. Annick Goutal Eau d’Hadrien – $441.18 per ounce This perfume was launched in 1981 and can be used by both men and women. It features a citrus fragrance, as the ingredients used for this perfume include lemon, mandarin orange, Sicilian lemon, grapefruit, citron and cypress, along with extracts of ylang ylang. It was elevated to the Fragrance Foundation’s Hall of Fame during the FiFi Awards of 2008. 9. Shalini – $409.09 per ounce Shalini is a floral fragrance created by Maurice Roucel. It is especially designed for women. The aroma emits the smell of neroli, tuberose and tiare flower. The base fragrances used are musk and sandalwood. The smell will last long and might even be enhanced with time, as the initial strong floral fragrance slowly dries down to that of the subtle smell of a flower in full bloom. 10. Chanel No. 5 – $121.71 per ounce Chanel No. 5 is probably the most popular perfume in the world, and certainly one of the best known. It was the first perfume to bear a designer’s name. it was created by Ernest Beaux in 1921 and has since become the benchmark for all elite perfumes. It comes in two concentrations, the Eau de Toilette and the Eau de Parfum. The latter was created in the 1990s as a combination of the original Parfum and Eau de Cologne. source http://rankdchyson..com/2013/07/the-top-ten-most-expensive-perfumes-in.html

A Zvishavane man died last Tuesday morning at a Bulawayo hospital in a suspected case of runyoka which saw his manhood elongating to knee-level after he allegedly has s*x with a headman's wife.... The now deceased, whose name could not be ascertained by the time of going to press, is believed to be from Chief Mazvihwa's area in Zvishavane, Midlands Province. The man's mysterious condition reportedly sent shivers down the spines of some patients, visitors and hospital staff at the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH). He was reportedly crying and writhing in agony, and died before receiving medical attention. A source from the hospital said before the deceased took his last breath, he had confessed that he had been having sex with a headman's wife who is suspected to have been 'fenced' by her husband. The mysterious 'central locking system' is popularly known as runyoka. It is traditionally regarded as a safety lock applied on both men and women to enforce fidelity. It is said that a person fences his or her spouse so that they do not have s*xual relations with other people. Indulging in s*xual intercourse with a 'locked' person often results in inexplicable illness that normally leads to death. However, some sources who are family with traditional charms have claimed to "Zimbabwe Latest News" that if one uses a condom while having sex with a 'locked' person, the juju usually won't work. "There was drama on the day that he got admitted to the hospital as people jostled to catch a glimpse of his 'stretched hosepipe'. Nurses ran around trying to assist him but unfortunately he died before they attended to him. Even nurses who tried to assist him before he died said his ailment was an issue with circumstances that they could not really comprehend in medical terms," said a source who requested anonymity. "Before he died he confessed that he slept with a headman's wife and was regretting that he failed to take heed of his relatives advice who warned him to stay away from the woman. Nurses tried to assist him by putting ice blocks to make his organ flaccid but it couldn't help," added the source. UBH Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Nonhlanhla Ndlovu, could not be reached for comment, but nurses at the hospital confirmed the incident. source http://revealzone..com/2013/07/mans-manhood-stretches-to-knee-level_13.html |
Astronomers have found a deep azure blue planet orbiting a star 63 light years away - the first time they've been able to determine the actual color of a planet outside our solar system, NASA and the European Space Agency said Thursday..... The planet, known as HD 189733b, is a gas giant with a daytime temperature of 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit where it possibly rains liquid glass sideways amid 4,500 mph winds, NASA says. The blue color comes not from the reflection of an ocean, as on Earth, "but rather a hazy, blow-torched atmosphere containing high clouds laced with silicate particles," NASA says. "Silicates condensing in the heat could form very small drops of glass that scatter blue light more than red light." The space agencies said astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope discovered the planet in 2005 but only now have they been able to use Hubble's observations to determine the deep blue color. The findings are in the August 1 issue of The Astrophysical Journal Letters. To deduce the planet's color, astronomers measured how much light was reflected off its surface. They used the Hubble's Space Telescope to look at the planet before, during and after it passed behind its star as it orbited. "We saw the brightness of the whole system drop in the blue part of the spectrum when the planet passed behinds its star," said Tom Evans of the University of Oxford, the first author of the paper. Blue Planet Discovered Where It Rains Glass "From this, we can gather that the planet is blue, because the signal remained constant at the other colors we measured." The planet is only 2.9 million miles from its parent star, so close that it is gravitationally locked, NASA says. One side always faces the star and the other side is always dark. By contrast, Mercury, the closest planet in our solar system to the sun, is 29 million miles away from the sun at its closest. In 2007, NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope measured the infrared light, or heat, from the HD 189733b. It showed day side and night side temperatures differ by about 500 degrees Fahrenheit, which should cause fierce winds to roar from the day side to the night side, NASA said. The atmosphere, the space agencies say, is changeable and exotic. HD 189733b is in a class of planets called "hot Jupiters," which are similar in size to the gas giants in our solar system but instead lie very close to their parent star, the European Space Agency says. "We know that hot Jupiters are numerous throughout the universe," the ESA said in a statement. "As we do not have one close to home in our own solar system, studies of planets like HD 189733b are important to help us understand these dramatic objects." more on http://revealzone..com/2013/07/breaking-news-astronomers-discovered.html

One night in June 2011, in a quiet neigbourhood in Ajangbadi, Egbeda area of Lagos, a 35-year old man sold his soul to the devil..... While the residents slept peacefully, Adeleke Adetayo, who lived in a small apartment with his two children, woke up his first daughter, 13-year-old Bola (not real name), and asked her to pull off her pants. That night, Adeleke, a commercial bus driver, raped his daughter as the little girl cried in agony. “Blood was coming out from my body. He used a white singlet to clean it. I was crying but he told me to stop so that the landlord would not hear. My sister was in the room at the time. My father started sleeping with my younger sister last year,” the girl told our correspondent as she looked down at her toes. Bola’s younger sister, Tolu (not real name), is just 10 years old. In any African culture, sleeping with one’s child is the most abominable form of incest. But once in a while, reports of such incidents come up. Such traumatic experience most times leaves a very damaging effect on the abused child and it may take substantial effort by specialists to make such child live a normal life. The case of Adeleke’s daughters will bring tears to many eyes. Unlike their peers who have the love of their parents and live normal lives of going to school and coming back home to the warm embrace of their parents, Bola and Tolu close from school every day with the trepidation of what awaits them at home. They rarely have good food to eat as their father barely provide for their feeding when he comes back from his commercial driving job. Their mother moved out in 2012, leaving them at the mercy of a predatory father who rarely had time for the children’s welfare. The children’s mother, Kemi, spoke with our correspondent on the telephone on Saturday. Her voice shook as she expressed shock at what her husband had done to their daughters. She told Saturday PUNCH, “I moved out last year because it became clear I was not safe in his house anymore. My children and I were suffering. He was not taking care of us in anyway. We rarely had food to eat. “He would beat me at the slightest provocation. When the beating was too much and it got to the stage where my mother was the one bringing food for us to eat, I took my children to live with my mother and I moved to Ibadan. “But when my husband learnt about where my children were, he went to take them from there. I had no idea that while I was with him, my husband was already sleeping with his own children. “I have not been able to eat anything since yesterday that I was informed about what that man did to my daughters. I am really sad.” Did Kemi starve her husband of sex when she was still with him? She replied, “Sir, you need to understand that my husband was the kind of person who wanted sex every day. After two children, should we still be acting like children when it comes to sleeping with each other? “He would ask for sex almost every day and anytime I said no, he would beat me up. Sometimes, he would pour urine on my head just to humiliate me for turning him down. He called me all sorts of names. “I was a hairdresser, but he said I should stop the work, because he thought I was prostituting myself in the process. He called me prostitute at the slightest provocation. All these were the reasons I decided to leave him. I have seen my daughters a number of times since I left their father’s house, but they never told me about what he was doing to them.” When our correspondent spoke with Kemi, she was still in Ibadan at the time, promising to come for her children the following day. Asked what she would say to her husband when she saw him, Kemi said, “I don’t want to see that man again. I just don’t want to lay my eyes on him. That man is the devil himself.” On Monday, Kemi finally came for the children who were kept in custody of the Ikotun Police Division, pending the outcome of the test conducted on them at the Igando General Hospital and their father’s arraignment. She broke down in tears as she pleaded to take them with her. When our correspondent saw the two children, they did not seem to understand what was happening. The older victim spoke quietly, looking at her toes the whole time. The young girl explained that she did not know what their father did with the white underwear he used to clean her up when he forced himself on her. She said, “I don’t know what he does with the singlet. Every time he rapes me, he uses the singlet to clean me up. He does it like once in a week. “Anytime I don’t allow him to do it, he sleeps with my sister instead but he would not give me money for food.” The older girl said she was crying after her father refused to give her money for feeding after turning him down one particular day. A neighbour saw her and asked what the problem was, she told the neighbour the truth. The neighbour placed an anonymous call to a woman she knew in a not-for-profit organisation, who in turn informed Mrs. Esther Ogwu, founder of the Esther Child Rights Foundation. On Friday, June 5, 2013, the police were informed and Adeleke was apprehended by men of the Ikotun Police Division. Adeleke did not utter a single word of denial. “It is true I was sleeping with them. Sometimes, I just have the urge to do it. When I cannot control myself, I sleep with them,” he said in a tape recorded by the NGO officials who first confronted him. These were the words Adeleke offered in defence when he was asked by Ogwu, the police and his landlord, why he slept with his two young daughters. Our correspondent visited Adeleke’s landlord, Mr. Amos Omooye, a pastor, who magnanimously gave an apartment in his house to Adeleke and his wife to live in for free. Omooye told our correspondent, “Adeleke has been living in my house for the last 13 years. I never suspected he could do something as heinous as this. “I had no idea he was doing that to her daughters whom I christened. They were born in this house. “During one of the evangelical outreach programme of my church years ago, I met Adeleke and his wife living in a very terrible uncompleted building. I had to take them in to live in my house without paying. They have been living here ever since.” Omooye said Adeleke once made effort to get a rented apartment, but was kicked out by the landlord of that house because he and his wife fought endlessly. The pastor said, “I took them back in when they were kicked out. I could probably have seen signs of what he was doing to his daughters if not because of a terrible illness I had since 2011. I was bedridden for much of the last two years, which is the period he was sleeping with the kids. “But I recall that in the last few months, the older daughter was always crying. I called her one day and asked what was wrong. She said the father was treating them badly. I asked if the two girls wanted to see their grandmother, they said yes and I facilitated a visit to the woman. “They later came back with clothes, food and other things. I never for once thought that the children were going through something that terrible. When the police came here to arrest Adeleke, I asked if it was true he was sleeping with his children, he said ‘yes’. I could not believe it, I was shocked.” Ogwu, who has been handling the children’s case since Adeleke’s act was unearthed, told our correspondent that the mother had initially been apologetic about taking custody of her children instead of them being handed over to government officials for rehabilitation. She told our correspondent, “Even though I have seen cases like this before, it still surprises me that with the abundance of brothels around, a man can still take his own children and rape them, not once but over a period of two years. “When I asked him why he did it, Adeleke simply said, ‘I just like doing it with them anytime I have the urge’. I was shocked. At the moment, we cannot rule out the option that he probably was sleeping with the children for fetish reasons. “It is also sad that the mother, who could have noticed what was happening to the children, did not when she was still with the father. You have to understand that the rape started when she was still with the man. “This is why parents need to maintain a cordial relationship and communication with their children so they will have the courage to confide in them. “My organisation only counsels parents on ways to prevent the abuse of their children, we usually leave the victims’ counseling part to the government. This is why we are planning to hand these children over to the government.” Ogwu said counseling helps to improve the chances of young victims like Adeleke’s children to live normal lives. But she added that even at that, the memory of the molestation they had gone through would likely live with them for the rest of their lives. Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ngozi Braide, said Adeleke’s case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department. “He is going to be charged to court as soon as possible,” she said. Adeleke was indeed charged to court on two counts of defilement in a family court at Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court, Lagos. Before his case was assigned, our correspondent met a woman, said to be Adeleke’s girlfriend at the court premises. “To say the truth, when I asked Adeleke if he indeed did it, he admitted he did it. But what has happened has happened. The devil can use anybody,” the woman said. Nigeria has not set up a database for paedophiles as is the case in some developed countries. This may make it difficult to track multiple offenders who are often let off the hook after out-of-court settlement by families. A report by The PUNCH in April revealed that victims’ families often opt to settle out of court in order to put the shame of the incident behind them. Unlike the often-reported cases of children being raped by outsiders or neighbours, Adeleke preyed on his vulnerable daughters. It may never be known the extent of the damage that has been done to the lives of Bola and Tolu. In the meantime, the family court has ordered that the children should be transferred to a juvenile home at Idi-Araba, Lagos for a period of three months. source http://revealzone..com/2013/07/if-i-dont-allow-daddy-to-do-it-he.html

Reliable sources including famous media outfit MediaTakeOut has confirmed this reports. This is what MediaTakeOut had to say: - MediaTakeOut.com confirmed this morning that Rihanna is back together with Drake. This is not a rumor – it is fact – confirmed by a person on Rihanna’s tour. While it remains unconfirmed, the latest gist we’re gathering from Sandra Rose is that Beyonce may be having an affair with one of her male dancers..... According to the report, Beyonce is reportedly so smitten with the guy that she posts hundreds of adoring photos of this male dancer all over her personal Tumblr page. The reports goes on say that Beyonce’s loving photographic tribute to this particular dancer outnumbers the photos she posts of her own husband. As countries around the world and gay rights activists claim legalizing same-s*x marriage is simply allowing marriage equality, Australia which has hitherto remained conservative based on the government’s deep relationship with the church is set to join the wagon of countries where gay marriage is legal as the church has now signified its support.... Marriage Equality has welcomed a letter from 77 Clergy from across Australia calling on Australians to show their support for marriage equality by making submissions to the Senate Inquiry and the House Representatives inquiry into same-s*x marriage. 6 Victorian Catholic Bishops had at the weekend wrote to parishioners asking them to oppose equality for same-s*x couples, but clergy men from different denominations of the church has now signified their support for same-s*x marriage. The supportive clergy come from Uniting, Baptist, Anglican, Jewish, Buddhist, and other faith groups and their letter sent to 60,000 supporters reads: “As clergy from various different faiths and denominations in Australia, we believe marriage is a fundamental institution in our society. It fosters greater commitment between partners, provides children with a sense of security and stability, and strengthens ties with families and communities. Marriage is a blessing to be shared, so we encourage people of faith who support marriage equality to voice their support for the reform by responding to the House of Representatives inquiry on same-s*x marriage today.” Australian Marriage Equality National Convener, Alex Greenwich, said the Clergy were sending a clear message to decision makers in Canberra: “These Clergy value the security and recognition that comes with marriage, and are calling for this important right to be extended to loving and committed same-s*x couples.” Mr Greenwich said the letter was a sign of the growing momentum towards marriage equality: “Some of the clergy were once opposed to marriage equality, but have gone on the same journey of acceptance that a majority of Australians have”. “Despite the moves of the Victorian Catholic Church, same-s*x couples and our families can be confident we now have strong support from religious leaders across the country”. Photo: Warning: Do Not Buy Condoms From Hawkers The Institute of Human Virology of Nigeria warned condom users not to patronize hawkers since the quality of their products may be below medical standards and threaten health, especially due to the risk of HIV transmission. The warning is contained in a statement of the Institute issued on Monday. The Institute of Human Virology of Nigeria warned condom users not to patronize hawkers since the quality of their products may be below medical standards and threaten health, especially due to the risk of HIV transmission... The warning is contained in a statement of the Institute issued on Monday. "You do not know how they have stored these condoms and how long they have kept them; you do not even know the source of their condoms. "Even if they got them from a chemist or some kind of pharmacy, the mere fact that they are carrying them under the sun and rain exposes the condom to a lot of danger. "Most of the condoms being hawked are sometimes expired and tear easily during use. The statement explains that "what that means is that there could be easy transmission of HIV, so it is advisable for user of such condoms to go for counselling and testing.'' Some more advices contained in the statement. Firstly, women are advised to use a female condom for prevention. Secondly, one should always check the expiry date and read the instruction on how to use a condom. "Always check for NAFDAC and FDA certifications on condoms before purchase and read the instructions on their usage; the instructions should be clear enough." It keeps on giving some more useful tips: a good condom could be determined by rubbing it between the thumb and index finger to determine if it had air and lubricant - no condom comes without a lubricant inside it; condoms should not be kept in trouser back pockets as they could be damaged if sat upon http://healthbutton..com/2013/07/warning-do-not-buy-condoms-from-hawkers.html |
Why I have been away for a while It was deliberate. We did not expect the first album to do well; we did not expect to be recognised. I always use ‘we’ because I’m in a team.... We found ourselves shooting the videos and I’m really grateful for that but somewhere along the line, I realised I was losing focus. I started getting streamlined into hip-hop. More importantly, I might be wrong, but I feel that I was one of the first persons to do the type of music I’m doing in Nigeria. I call it soul; some call it afro-soul or phunk-soul. There are more people doing it now, but then I was a lone ranger. So I thought if I was going to do it, I needed to lean back. Now I’m working on the next album, people have their expectation of what they are supposed to be listening to, so I needed to take a break. It just went too fast, after the first album, everything went too fast. I saw myself travelling a lot and always in the studio or always at a shoot and always having all these events to go for. I needed to click ‘refresh’, leave the country and be inspired for the next album. Coping in a male-dominated industry A lot of time we do not want to say the truth, we don’t want to say it is hard, but the truth is that it is hard. It is hard being a female in the industry and it is 10 times harder doing the kind of songs that I do. It is even impossible for you if you refuse to remove your clothes in your video and do the ‘shake your bum bum’ routine. I just stay focused. Semi-unclad women in music videos I blame the women, not the men. In most of those videos, the men are fully dressed. They are always really fully dressed even with jackets and they keep shaking and shaking it. I’m not trying to be morally superior, but we need to be very careful as women to give good examples. If you tune in to any music video channel, four out of five videos, they look the same. They are in the club, the women are unclad and the men are telling them to shake their butts. It is a bit played out if you are at a pool party or it’s a birthday at the beach or if the concept requires it which is what they do in western videos. They listen to the song and then they work according to the concept. It doesn’t always have to look like that. If the video requires something like that, fine. Shout out to Timaya. If it is every time, the songs sound the same, for me it is boring. Sticking to my kind of music I think about it, switching like Iyanya did. It is not because I’m stubborn or I have a point to prove. If I was a hip-hop head, if that was my talent, I would do it. I wouldn’t think about it because my life is not about pleasing people. I just have to be happy and please myself. That is not who I am. I am not a hip-hop head. I am a music head. So if I do soul, there is a hint of hip-hop in it like if you listen to ‘Orimi wu’. The rap before the song is a little bit of hip-hop. If you listen to the stuff I did for the first album, there is a bit of hip-hop in it too. I do get crazy when I’m spending time with some of my music friends, I can lean that way. Also, when I’m doing a chorus for somebody else, I can lean that way. At my core, that is not who I am. At the end of the day, you cannot give what you do not have. About my song with MI I wonder why people say we had a good chemistry. It made me laugh. I did not live here all my life and I’m used to seeing maybe Madonna and Justin Timberlake in a video and nobody is thinking about the chemistry. All they are saying is that this is a very good video. I think that was the first time that Nigerians would see that kind of a video, especially with a rapper. They were used to seeing MI do the hardcore rap. I don’t think it was about the chemistry, I think it was because it was something new. I think Nigerians need a love story but, unfortunately, it is not here. It did not even come to mind. Travelling a lot as a kid I grew up in America, Nigeria and Europe. My parents were the reason I travelled a lot as a kid. My dad used to work in an oil company, so they moved him around a lot. Some of us were born there, so we started off there. Then we came to Nigeria, when it was time for me to finish high school, he felt it was better for me to finish there so I finished in the UK. Most romantic thing a guy has done for me What I consider as romantic is not what most girls today see as romantic. It is the little thing that matters to me. To give an example, a long time ago, when I was in high school, a guy wanted to date me and I did not like him. I was not feeling well and he realised that my friends and I wanted to go out. He sent a car to pick us and take us to an amusement park, everything all thought out. It was nice. It was a good gesture, but it is not the kind of things that get to somebody like me. Things that get to me are remembering the little things that I don’t think you are paying attention to. For instance, maybe you take me on a date and I order for something. The next time I go on a date with you, you remember what I ordered, it shows that you are paying attention. It is not the flashy things that get to me because those things can come and go. It does not really show the kind of person the person is. If you are really into somebody, you’ll pay attention to the person. You’ll ask questions more than you talk. I don’t like self involved people. I don’t like people who think they are too fine or too cool. My love life I’m in a relationship. He is awesome. I’m a tough nut to crack. He got to me because he is God-fearing, funny and humble. He tells it to me straight without being afraid to do so. He is hardworking. What I don’t like about him He happens to be right a lot. I’m a stubborn person, so this doesn’t work for me. When you are arguing, you need to feel that you have points. But most of the times, he is right; so that pisses me off. How it happened between us When I met him, I knew he is a good guy. There are not many good guys anymore; there are not many good people anymore. I knew he was a good guy and I liked him. He is handsome and funny. He did something funny that caught my attention; he was dancing in a most obscure way so that was how I noticed him. He then turned around and I realised he was good looking and that helped. We were somewhere and he was dancing, I did not know him and he did not know me. He was dancing like a mad man and people were laughing so I wondered who he was. When he turned around, he greeted me and I greeted him back. It was his birthday. I like food so he gave me cake. The cake was sweet and it is always a good way to start a conversation. My current project We just put out a video for ‘Titi lailai’; that is a song that I did with Femi Tones. He has worked with people like Amy Winehouse and George Benson and other famous people. That is what I was doing in London. The video is out and getting good reviews. I have a single out, ‘Romantic voice’, featuring K9, it is getting a lot of airplay on radio stations. The next thing is working on the video and the next single. We also have an acoustic session with Lami where every week I go into the studio and I do different old songs. Last week, we did Lauren Hills’s X-factor and John Legend’s,’ Ordinary people’. source http://revealzone..com/2013/06/i-can-never-fall-in-love-with-mi.html

I’m a 34-year old woman who has been married for three and a half years. My husband avoided sex in every possible way since day one.... A couple of times we did manage to made love, but it was not a happy situation because, now in hindsight, I can see that he just didn’t insert it right. For the first few months he said it was my virgin pain that he couldn’t handle. Then, he said it was the stress at work, hence he was low on libido. Almost three years of marriage passed like that. However, through this period he told people behind my back that ours was a sexless marriage because I was frigid. Even though I knew he’d spoken about me I stayed on in the marriage because, apart from the sex problem, we were really close as friends. So, when he apologized and broke down for speaking lies about me, I preferred to forget it. Career-wise, he has always been unsteady. He attempted to start a new venture two years ago which crashed totally eight months back. Since that time he has been quite depressed and distant from me. He’s constantly on the computer gaming, or on the phone. Suddenly, in the past three months he’s made it clear that he wants to end the marriage. He gives all kinds of reasons from the two of us having no understanding to me being unsupportive. All of which none is true. Sexually, he says he’s now fine, but he is not attracted to me anymore for us to even initiate sex. He says in the initial years of our marriage we couldn’t made love due to various circumstances, but now it’s too late to rekindle passion and interest. source http://revealzone..com/2013/06/my-husband-has-not-had-sex-with-me-in-3.html He will never be honest with me how much I try asking. Many of his actions point out to him being gay. Before marriage we were together for two years, but never had intercourse (we only helped each other m*st*u*r*b*a*te). So, I couldn’t tell. He could hardly kiss well, even though he would try. But, my only reasoning was that his sexual interest was less than mine, or probably I was very high on sex. And, the homophobia thing also applies to him. Anyway, over the past three months he is insisting on a divorce even though it doesn’t seem the most practical thing for him to do at this juncture. One more thing is that he has been very close to a new male friend, a professor, who is three years older than him, and he is unmarried. They’ve become unusually close over the past months and I’ve met the guy just once. When my husband speaks to me on the phone in front of him, he sounds very to the point and even abrupt. While I have almost been certain that my husband is gay, (I believe he abstained from it, but succumbed finally after meeting this professor), I suddenly get stumped a month ago when I find out that my husband has also been speaking to a woman in another state every day for five to six hours for the past few months. He has given her hopes of a future. I managed to get someone to call her up and got all the details. She said my husband and her met on Facebook, and they speak every day. They’ve met twice when he went to her city. Both times were for a few days. However, they’ve not had sex because, “he was not comfortable with the idea since he was still married,” she said. Now I have a few questions: 1.) If he is gay (because he’s not interested in sex with women clearly), then what’s the role of this woman in his life? Is she just a cover? 2.) Does he feel for me at all? Did he ever feel for me? 3.) Wouldn’t it have suited him to keep this marriage going? 4.) I believe he wants to separate because he’s guilty. Or, probably because he wants the world to know that he ended the marriage so it doesn’t cast any aspersions on him? What do you think? Please let me know. source http://revealzone..com/2013/06/my-husband-has-not-had-sex-with-me-in-3.html |
A renowned British magician, Dynamo, was photographed while floating across Westminster Bridge in London. Many of eyewitnesses were stunned by the miracle they saw with their eyes and tried to comprehend it… The answer came later as the Australian website, news.com.au, posted a claim that the illusionist was using a fake right arm for his trick with his real arm tucked inside his coat. “The arm is in fact a metal pole that has been fastened to the bus and is supporting Dynamo’s weight while he holds on. Dynamo’s real arm is in tucked inside his chest. A few signs from our social media sleuths include the fact that his fingers don’t move in the clip and there are no people around when he hovers up and down the bus. In fact, at second glance the arm attached to the bus looks pretty phony. source http://revealzone..com/2013/06/exposed-secret-of-magician-who-stunned.html

Aspirin is known to lower risk for some cancers, and a new study led by a UC San Francisco scientist points to a possible explanation, with the discovery that aspirin slows the accumulation of DNA mutations in abnormal cells in at least one pre-cancerous condition.... "Aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which are commonly available and cost-effective medications, may exert cancer-preventing effects by lowering mutation rates," said Carlo Maley, PhD, a member of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and an expert on how cancers evolve in the body over time. In the study, published June 13 in the online journal PLOS Genetics, Maley, working with gastroenterologist and geneticist Brian Reid, MD, PhD, of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, analyzed biopsy samples from 13 patients with a pre-cancerous condition called Barrett's esophagus who were tracked for six to 19 years. In an "observational crossover" study design, some patients started out taking daily aspirin for several years, and then stopped, while others started taking aspirin for the first time during observation. The goal was to track the rate of mutations in tissues sampled at different times. The researchers found that biopsies taken while patients were on an aspirin had on average accumulated new mutations about 10 times more slowly than biopsies obtained during years when patients were not taking aspirin. "This is the first study to measure genome-wide mutation rates of a pre-malignant tissue within patients for more than a decade, and the first to evaluate how aspirin affects those rates," Maley said. Gender and ethnic distribution of study patients reflected the known demographics of esophageal cancer, which predominantly affects, white, middle-aged and elderly men, he said. Barrett's esophagus only occasionally progresses to esophageal cancer. Cancers are known to accumulate mutations over time much more rapidly than normal tissue, and different mutations arise in different groups of cells within the same tumor. The acquisition of key mutations ultimately allows tumor cells to grow out of control, and diversity within a tumor may foster drug resistance, a phenomenon that is a major focus of Maley's research. Maley plans to test a hypothesis that may explain the results -- that aspirin's lowering of mutation rates is due to the drug's effect of reducing inflammation. Inflammation, a response of the immune system, in recent years has been recognized as a hallmark of cancer. Maley said that less inflammation may result in less production within pre-cancerous tissue of oxidants known to damage DNA, and may dampen growth-stimulating signaling. For the duration of the study, the rate of accumulation of mutations measured in the biopsied tissue between time points was slow, even when patients were not taking aspirin, with the exception of one patient. While mutations accumulated at a steady rate, the vast majority of mutations arose before the abnormal tissue was first detected in the clinic, the researchers concluded. These findings are consistent with the fact that although Barrett's esophagus is a significant risk factor for esophageal cancer, the vast majority of cases do not progress to cancer, Maley said. In the one patient who later went on to develop cancer, a population of cellular "clones" with a great number of mutations emerged shortly before he started taking aspirin. More studies are needed to further explore the link between non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, mutation rates and the development of invasive cancer, Maley said. He plans to continue studying Barrett's esophagus and esophageal cancer, and to expand his research to investigate lung cancer. Rather than aiming to kill the most tumor cells, it may be better to try to halt or slow growth and mutation. Current drug treatments for cancer may in many cases hasten the emergence of cancer that is more difficult to eradicate, according to Maley. The capability to mutate frequently allows tumors to become resistant to drug treatment, he said. A better-adapted mutant can begin to spin off a population of genetic clones that survives and grows, while poorly adapted tumor cells die off. Additional authors from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center include Xiaohong Li, PhD, Carissa Sanchez, PhD, Patricia Galipeau, PhD, Thomas Paulson, PhD, Patricia Blount, PhD, Thomas Vaughan, PhD, and Cassandra Sather, PhD. Amitabh Srivastava, MD, and Robert Odze, MD, from Harvard University; Rumen Kostadinov, PhD, from the University of Pennsylvania; and Mary Kuhner, PhD from the University of Washington also were members of the research team and authors of the study. more on http://healthbutton..com/2013/06/aspirin-may-fight-cancer-by-slowing-dna.html

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their baby daughter North West.... Sources close to the couple confirmed the decision, which comes five days after Kim welcomed her first child at a hospital in Los Angeles. The revelation ends the intense speculation over the child's name, with other rumoured options said to include Kaidence Donda, in honour of Kanye's late mother. And a source told UsWeekly that the couple have already given their daughter a nickname - she will be 'Nori for short'. They added that the child has no middle name. TMZ witnessed a signed birth certificate with the name North West signed by Kim, 32, and Kanye, 36, at Cedars-Sinai hospital. People magazine confirmed the news with a source close to the Kardashian family. The name North had previously been suggested as a possibility for the child, although many Kardashian fans had dismissed the idea as a joke. And the revelation certainly proved fruitful amongst Twitter users, as North West began trending within minutes. It also sparked a slew of jokes from would-be comedians amused by the choice. Back in March, Kim denied rumours that Kanye wanted to name the baby North. ‘I do like Easton, Easton West,’ she joked on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at the time. Indeed prior to the baby's birth on Saturday it had been expected that the pair would continue the 'K' theme that runs in Kim's family - which is something that Kim has spoken about in the past. source http://revealzone..com/2013/06/see-name-of-kim-kanyes-daughter.html

A woman, Mrs. Nike Adekunle, who bit her neighbour in the eye during fighting at their Idi-Araba, Mushin residence, has been arraigned before the Ijeshatedo Magistrates’ Court, Lagos southwest Nigeria, for assault.... The incident happened at 5, Shittu Street, NEPA Bus Stop, Idi-Araba, Mushin where they reside as tenants. The accused was alleged to have engaged her co-tenant, Mrs. Fatimo Oladimeji in a fight over disagreement on the use of the cloth hanger in their compound. There was a time when almost everyone wanted to be a disc jockey (DJ). These days, most of us are just content listening to them as they showcase their mastery of music mixing and playing good music for audiences.... Once upon a time, they were considered to be the guide to the airwaves; now, they do more than vinyl spinning as they assume the role of paramount players of the platters. Who are the DJ’s who helped changed the game in music history? Here are the top 10 DJ’s who are considered the best of all time. They should be honored and recognized for their contribution in keeping their field up. 10. Carl Cox Carl Cox pushed the boundaries. In 1997, when DJ magazine started listing its first rundown of the top 100 DJ’s in the world, DJ Carl was the inaugural winner. By the new millennium, he continued to do what other DJ’s failed to do. He was like traversing two time zones seamlessly. In his prime, he was considered as ‘The Three Deck Wizard.’ He was among the first DJ’s who pushed his limits to expand the domain of what DJ’s should be. Thus, DJ Carl is considered a legend in the dance music landscape. 9. Norman Jay MBE He is the guy from the good times. In 2002, he became a prominent member of the Order of the British Empire. He survived the times from being a staple of the warehouse rave-ups back in the 1980′s. He is most noted for his kaleidoscope range of music that he loves playing. It made him an eclectic DJ. He managed to always keep his crowd moving, whether he is playing heavy reggae, spinning hip hop, or mixing rare soul joints in house numbers. You may check him out through dropping by the Notting Hill Carnival’s Good Times Sound System. 8. Jam Master Jay This DJ has always been the backbone of the MC’s of Run DMC, who have always been at the forefront. His shining moment came when he proved that DJ’s could form a band. A proof of this was when he re-contextualized eight bars of intense drum breaks from a few copies of records from Billy Squire, Bob James, and Aerosmith. Thus, if Run DMC is the ultimate group for hip-hop, Jam Master Jay is the ultimate DJ for hip-hop. He founded his Scratch DJ Academy in 2002 before his demise. His aim was to help aspiring DJs push forward with this art form. 7. Cut Chemist There are specific elements required to make the best DJ’s. Cut Chemist helped formulate the necessary equation. Aside from being a DJ for rap crews and funk bands, he is also considered as a mixtape king and a club rocker. He is unique because he could create a mic record instantly from quick conversations particularly with a crowd. He has proven that being a DJ is a sheer talent that could not be acquired from schooling. 6. DJ Yoda He is simply a man of numerous talents. Aside from being a DJ, he is also a turntablist, a breakfast cereal advocate, a video jock, and a journalist. In the mixing game, he is most notable through his ‘How to Cut and Paste’ series and before that, his ‘Jew’s Paid’ tapes that were distributed through mail order. Currently, he setups big screens for his visual DJ performances to capture audiences around the globe. 5. Mr. Scruff He is ‘the DJ’s DJ.’ He exuded a rarity in this generation of DJs, who are mostly clambering bandwagons. He keeps his crowd losing to the songs especially through his ‘Keep It Unreal’ performances. What is most interesting about him is the fact that before becoming a DJ, he had never dropped any beat in his entire life. He has proven that it is never too late to learn and make it big in this industry. 4. DJ Qbert ‘The scratch professor’ tries to pave the way for the next generation to keep the flame alive through his scratch lessons, multi-angled DVDs, and intergalactic secrets to spinning. He founded the Qbert Skratch University online to ‘educate’ aspiring DJs. Before his big break, he dominated many DMC battles in the 1990′s. He tried to revolutionize the way sets are put together. 3. Coldcut Matt Black and Jonathan Moore form a duo known as Coldcut. Together, they have proven that two heads are better than one. The duo set a road map to serve as a guide for DJ’s mixing journeys. Their reputation was cemented by the epic ‘Journeys’ mix. It consisted of up to 70 minutes of total madness that re-set how DJ’s should sound. They are the Ninja Tune honchos who focus on making the mixing of sounds a journey towards perfection. 2. DJ Z-Trip As an A-list DJ, Z-Trip easily tops most ‘best DJs’ lists in the U.S. due to his death-defying sound stunts mixing various genres through the decks. His works have been exhibited in The Rolling Stones opening and in his stints with David Letterman’s in-house live band. He was the master of mash-up as he does it effortlessly even in front of his live audience. What would be most remembered about him would be his outstanding DJ routines that interestingly include scratching Janis Joplin and rolling out exponential drums from Alphabet Aerobics. 1. Grandmaster Flash Back in 1973, most DJ’s were admired for their crazy ways of touching and playing records. DJ Flash formulated his Quick Mix Theory in an effort to rise above the rest. He patiently mastered the craft of ‘DJing.’ To do so, he utilized stickers to mark records, experimented with torque powers of different decks, and invented the so-called Peek-A-Boo system in pre-fading into the next tune. Some followers even claim that he invented the slipmat. Thanks to DJ Flash, the art of creatively playing records reached its renaissance. He easily became a part of DJs’ Holy Trinity, who is cited for inventing hip-hop. He isolated the break first, Bam got the records, and DJ Flash started deckmanship. read more on http://rankdchyson..com/2013/06/top-10-best-djs-of-all-time.html

Dear Readers, I am having an affair with my best friend's dad and I'm finding it so hard not to confess to her.... I am 20, my friend is a year younger, and her dad is 38. She and I only became friends a couple of years ago when we met in university. We hit it off and I became friends with her family too – her mum, younger brother and sister. Her dad is tall, dark and handsome. It all started between us when he took me home one night after I'd had too much to drink. He dropped me off and leaned over to kiss me, and that kiss turned into passionaté snoggíng for half an hour. He asked me to meet him the next day at his office – he's the boss. He took me to lunch, then we went for a drive. We did it together in his car. It was amazing. And we've been having a hot affair for the past three months. Every time I'm with my friend I am thinking about what me and her dad. If I tell her it will ruin a family and my friendship, but I just know one day I won't be able to stop myself blurtíng it out. source http://revealzone..com/2013/06/i-am-sleeping-with-my-friends-father.html |
It must be true love: A man stuck an engagement ring into the bun of a chicken sandwich—and the woman accepted the proposal.... It almost makes the much-maligned wedding-anniversary bowling ball look like a touching gesture—yet Ann, the bride-to-be, didn’t seem to mind. In this photo of the sandwich and accompanying engagement ring posted to Facebook on Wednesday was the message, “I said yes ”(Ann’s last name, as well as that of her fiancé, Dennis, had been redacted from the page.) As of press time, the picture had 54 “likes” from Ann’s Facebook friends—which leads us to believe there’s a touching backstory to the sandwich proposal. Still, you’d think if someone was going to put a wedding ring inside a chicken sandwich, they’d at least go for Chick-Fil-A. What do you think—would you propose to someone using fast food as a prop? And would you accept a marriage proposal like this? source http://revealzone..com/2013/06/man-proposed-to-girlfriend-with-ring.html |
