You are right about the FBI concluding investigations and finding them not culpable. But remember the US operates a plea bargain justice system.
That system allows even some low-level hardened criminals to walk away without a record if that low-level criminal has "extremely" useful information.
I am not saying that BAT was a low-level criminal that walked away, I'm not saying that what the journalist is saying is false or true.
I'm just letting you know how an aspect of the US judicial system works.

ETH is still new. It would not make any sense to strip Maguire of the captaincy this upcoming season. As ETH said, he is still getting to know the players.
Besides, United don't have many leadership quality players currently.
As for condoning Maguire, United don't have much wriggle room. We're in the Europa league, how many players would want to come to United? Remember the Liverpool team that Klopp inherited.
Little by little Klopp sold the players that were not up to standard.

Lastly, don't expect much from United this season. I would not be surprised if we finished 5th or 6th. Why? Because 1st and 2nd is already going to Liverpool and City, United is not at their level at all, no matter how many signings we make. 3rd and 4th is up for grabs among Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea. United just got a new manager whilst the other 3 clubs already have managers who have been at the club for at least 6 months.

Kwankwaso miscalculated his political muscle but the good thing for Peter obi is that since Gandollar is Team BAT, I know Atiku will have some loyalists in Kano and Kwankwaso..votes in Kano will be split.

Any remember just 3 years ago , PDP and the northern canals loyalists to Atiku had to market Obi's candidacy in the north so Obi have a bit of his ground work done for him.

He still needs to go out there and campaign , meet people and not just relying on online fans like me to do the work for him.

Had it been it was not the LP, but PDP, Kwankwaso would have stepped down. Kwankwaso just like many observant people knows that the LP is not strong at all. So, in Kwankwaso's mind he sees it as, Peter Obi needing him more than he needs Peter Obi.
Kwankwaso is not a fool. He knows that he can't win an election with his party. Had it been Peter Obi emerged as the PDP candidate either Kwankwaso or Atiku would have been his VP.

It is unjust for someone from the Northwest to succeed Buhari who also is from the Northwest. Kwankwaso has every right to contest but for the sake of equity and fairness, he should have considered the Labour Party's position. Nigeria is a diverse country.

IMO Kwankwaso didn't misread Peter Obi's popularity across Nigeria. He realised that Peter Obi is only popular among a segment of Nigerians. And that segment of Nigerians is not enough to win an election.
Even the said popularity is highly debate able.

IMO Peter Obi made the mistake of leaving PDP. Kwankwaso made the mistake of leaving PDP too.

Among the SW, SS and SE. Tinubu needs at least one of the southern geo-political zones to win the presidency.
From the way Yorubas behave, it is very likely the SW would vote for Tinubu.
It is for this reason, that I strongly suggest that PDP(Atiku) and LP(Obi) team-up and even Kwakwanso too.

IMO Peter Obi is not going to win anything. But for the sake of argument let us say the Igbos SE vote for Peter Obi, he still needs the North. And he is not a Northerner and he needs at least either the SS or SW.
It is not looking good for Peter Obi.

Atiku IMO erred with his VP pick. Although the VP slot has little bearing on the outcome of elections. But had it been Atiku picked someone like Wike or even Akwa Ibom state governor, it would have been a boost.
Atiku might have a strong chance in the north. It is in the south that he might have problems.

Tinubu has been making moves and forming alliances with the northerners even since 2015. But it is not guaranteed that the northerners would vote for him. But if they do, well............
