Most people living in those areas will be looking at this list and staring at their lights, wondering whether they have been living elsewhere all these years...! ![]() Some go be like, 20 hours light ba wo??! When and where we see the light?!! ![]() |
donproject2:Yep... You don't seem to know these criminals in power. Instead of them to announce general electricity tariff increments, they are using the backdoor to do it while on paper claiming otherwise. |
donproject2:Band A sir. They are coming for everyone... No one will be spared. All of una don enter Band A! |
morikee:They never planned to spare any household...! That increase for Band A was never going to work! How many households see up to 20 hours light daily?!! In the whole of Naija! Lol... That would mean no subsidy has been removed at all. |
When I was telling someone that the Band A they put there is just scam and formality, he was insulting me. Shebi una see am! The hike is for everyone! Leave all that official lie for paper and news. ![]() |
Kukutente23:Honestly, the Presidency is desperate for some national validation. Sadly, white elephant projects are not going to cut it. Eliminate Inflation and Insecurity, and they are home-free! They should quit chasing shadows. |
What education??!... Lol! These thick skulls don't want to be educated abeg. Well, the so-called Sponsor wants to catch his own cruise. ![]() |
socialmediaman:Who will not forget?!! Lol! Tinubu will win by a landslide, come 2027! He will get half of the winning votes from millions of Nigerians, while INEC does the rest. ![]() |
Ebukamatth:This morning?!! That idiot is high 24-7! ![]() |
"5. Vice President’s official residence" This is a national project to be commissioned amidst fanfare?!! |
Bobrisky come popular pass every celebrity and politician in Nigeria recently... He is even more in the news than Mr. President. |
Sigh... This is some next-level humanitarian crisis! Curiously tho... After these armed imbeciles finish leveling and destroying the nation, what next?!! Where do they go from there?!! Neighboring and other countries had better sit up, and start securing their borders and entry points. Haiti is about to become the biggest supplier and conduit for criminalities and terrorism to nations that fail to secure themselves internally and externally. Nigeria and other parts of Africa are still suffering from the fall of Libya. ![]() |
Satazaa:Leave those people arguing and attacking me...! They are shying away from facts. There is no way Islamic terrorists can have the level of spread, influence, and depth they have currently across the globe if non-Muslim mercenaries were not fully involved. It's a no-brainer! |
You've been forgiven, bro... Still, you need some jail time, or a heavy fine, or months of community service as penance. Examples need to be set... You will make a good scapegoat so that other aspiring defamers will rethink their career or life paths. Una go just carry phone and cheap data, enter online dey misbehave and misyarn... Una think say everywhere na Nairaland! Smh!!! |
This is just a start and glimpse of what lies ahead...! Those shouting and laughing that it's only Band A, and it doesn't affect them should prepare for a rude awakening. Sooner than y'all expect, it will trickle down to the remaining bands. Total removal of electricity subsidy is inevitable, and will happen pretty soon. |
HellVictorinho6:I never said that, and you know it. I merely pointed out that non-Muslims are also part of most ISLAMIC terror organizations. |
papagiddy:Many soldiers and members of top terrorist groups across the world are actually non-Muslim mercenaries. Ideologies mean nothing to them at all! The only ideology they believe in is being well-paid to kill. You think every member of Boko Haram and ISWAP is a core Muslim?!! Lol! |
princemillla:If we are being honest, we haven't had a proper parliament (legislature) since Buhari's first term in office. Nigerian Senate is the retirement home for corrupt ex-governors and other charlatans. More than 80% of them have no inkling about Law-making and checking the excesses of national leadership. A lot of them just stroll in there weekly to sleep through meaningless plenaries, and collect over-bloated allowances for doing nothing. |
illicit:ISIS is a brainchild of the American CIA...! This is no longer news na. A lot of their top heads and strategists are not true Muslims. The more you look, the less you see. |
DearDealz:Yeah... Trust Nigerians! The coming Inflation will practically kill millions. A classic example of a fire brigade approach. You want to clear the backlog of subsidy debts at whose expense exactly??! Why not wait and first sort out the fuel subsidy removal and recovery, before moving into power sector? |
Well... Increasing the tariff is not the problem at all. At the end of the day, utilities have always been a luxury since APC took over. The real problem lies with the affordability of such a high-cost of Power supply by those who really need it, like medium and small-scale businesses. |
athaboi:He needs to stay relevant politically...! |
qtguru:How much is the minimum wage in that EU? What is the state of security??! How is the business environment??! What is the level of corruption and transparency in government??! How free and fair are their elections??! What is the state of their judiciary and parliament?!! Use your brain before commenting or trying to make justifications. |
phemmie06:They are being mischievous and insensitive... Or maybe they are just dull! ![]() |
aieromon:Power shouldn't be cheap... Matter of fact, nothing should be subsidized any more. However, why is the minimum wage still paltry?!! Why are the citizens accepting a 'subsidized' minimum wage??! In nations where people pay well above for amenities like gas and electricity, do they earn as low as Nigerians??! Do they live in insecurity??! Do they have widespread corruption in every sector of their nations??! It's always convenient to make comparisons on somethings to justify poor leadership in Nigeria, but none of you ever compare the other parameters. |
Yes, of course! As long as my salary or income can afford it. Why not?!! However, if Solar is cheaper, then HELL NO!!! ![]() |
idahme:This is where I fault Nairaland and other anonymous forums...! They get away with such nonsense here and forget that Facebook is not anonymous. Social Media is making more monsters out of youths... A clampdown will surely be in the horizon. |
Laurene:Below is one of them (heard the idiot has come running forward with an apology).
|
toujurs:Yes, he is bitter and proud...! If in the future, people accuse your wife of giving you a bastard child or accuse you of impregnating another person's wife due to resemblance, avoid such pride and bitterness by laughing with them. In the meantime, allow a proud and bitter man to handle his own affairs according to what the Nigerian constitution provides. Thank you. |
Laurene:Sigh... Now, I see you clearly lack understanding of the true facts of this matter. Please, do some research! Several hundreds of people actually said the child resembles Bassey... This is relatively a non-issue, and certainly not the issue here. These ones specifically went beyond mere speculating and trolling. They actually claimed that Mercy Chinwo and Nathaniel Bassey had an affair, disguising it as "Musical Collaboration" and studio sessions... That the affair produced that child. One of them actually accused Mercy Chinwo of trying to pass on Bassey's child to her husband. |
shortgun:Lol... I keep telling you, people... Only God truly forgives. That's why we say "To err is human, but to forgive is Divine". In any case, this is not about forgiveness... He may have already forgiven them. However, deterrents are very important. You see... Without rules and law enforcement, such harmful online behavior will persist and get out of hand. Aren't you aware that people commit suicide due to such things?!! What if the person lacks the mental strength and capacity to stomach such?!! I honestly insist that more scapegoats should be made out of online miscreants... People should learn that words and actions have consequences. |
Laurene:He is probably pitying them... He has a soft heart. What they did are actually constitutional crimes. |
