Ucl is a different ball game. It took Arsenal PKs to get to the Q.Final. You know what that means?
You are right, but Bayern has been so pathetic under that idiot Tuchel.

Even less than average Man United gave them serious stress at the group stages... Their qualifications past Lazio to this point was shocking! Below Bayern's normal standard.

But Chelsea drew city...tottenham did ..Liverpool too...

It will be nice to see how arsenal will get past all this teams...arsenal is good .they have really improved but am sorry if they will be winning the league then trey should look unstoppable and be topping tht table with atleast 5 points by now...I know Liverpool and city won't win all their matches ..but they will win most ...Arsenal will try but it won't be enough ...all the same they will also have champions league to hope for...
Yeah... It's going to be a very close and bitter run till the last games.

Matter of fact, the final game might be the decider for either of the 2 or 3 top teams.

If it comes down to it, Man United might want to pull a dangerous spoiler for Gunners... Especially if they need that game to get into Europe.

Arsenal can't afford to drop points anyhow going forward.

But, whatever happens, Arsenal has been very impressive this season.

Whoever fails to lift it among the 3 of them, if it goes down to the wire, will be downcast for years to come... Especially between Liverpool and Arsenal. embarassed

City still has firm grips on UCL and F.A cup.

that would have been a very beautiful, perfect moment...but still the result is good and it shows how strong Arsenal is defensively especially under intense pressure.. if that was Woman united or Chelshit ,city go score at least 5😂
United, yeah... Chelsea?!! How?!!

Chelsea hasn't lost to Man City so far this season.

Matter of fact, that's what United fans are banking on for F.A cup! That Chelsea will miraculously help them remove City. grin

Arsenal has massively and consistently improved since last season.

They are world beaters currently.

Winning this season's EPL will be a huge boost to the entire squad.

I quite agree sha. undecided
Especially with the introduction of VAR.

Do you think it's a good thing (VAR) for football or not?
The problem is not VAR in itself...!

The problem is the already deep-seated flaw and corruption among officials who are now the ones in charge of the process.

If they can upgrade to A.I, where robots are charge of the system, it will be better.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Liverpool Vs Brighton (2 - 1) On 31st March 2024 by Angelfrost(m): 2:37pm On Mar 31, 2024
Quality football from both sides...!

But, Liverpool is looking more likely to snatch this.

They are better going forward: Luiz Diaz is something else.

Replacing Klopp will be a serious headache o!

They should not end up like a certain club after their legendary manager stepped down. tongue

You think so? undecided
I'm sure they thought the same of Pele and Maradona in their era.
Yeah... I think so.

Pele and Maradona gave way for improved footballing and footballers with more skills and quality. It wasn't too much of a stretch to see further improvements.

However, it is a different scenario today.

Quality of footballing is on the decline, from club to club... This is so obvious.

No Chief... I don't bet.

But, money is making football a mess these days.

Every year, players demand so much while delivering so little.

Well, i didn't see much difference, players then were more rigid and Conservative, while today's players are more flexible and comprehensive.

Most of the things we praised old players for has been easily done by today's players, but our perspectives about the game now won't let us see it. Infac, I really enjoy today's football games than those days.
You are wrong... But, I respect your perspective. grin

I am very conversant with both generations of players, and today's crop of players are largely overrated.

That's why Messi and Ronaldo's records will never be touched.
Sports › Re: Osimhen Highest-Paid Player In Serie A by Angelfrost(m): 12:50pm On Mar 31, 2024
yemmit90:
Alot has changed, you can't compare the generated revenue back them with current time. Besides, football is no longer about the game but business. Every club sign a player that will fetch them good return in future. Aside that, those players you mentioned up there also collected huge salary then, in the sense that what €50k could do back then is more or equivalent to what €400k can do now.
See... We are both agreeing that both generations of players are highly paid. Good.

Now, my issue remains quality of playing... The comparison simply ends at wages earned.

That's the problem.

Business or not... A player should earn his wages on the pitch every week.

These current crop aren't impressing at all.

He should leave before his value drop
Sadly, they have succeeded in doing just that: dropping his value massively.

No club is offering the same amount as last summer again.

Overpaid players...!

In the years past, highly paid players like Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Wayne Rooney, etc, delivered massively every single week.

Nowadays, we can't even correlate the amount paid to some players with their delivery on the field every week... Just seems like a waste of money.

Imagine Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen collecting over 250k this week, after the abysmal performance of their clubs and teams.

As for Man United players... Let me not talk. Only Onana deserves to be paid salary this week!

It's shocking to believe Bayer Leverkusen players are far underpaid compared to players in Bayern, Napoli, Man United, Man City, and Barcelona. tongue

These women too expect the Nigerian man to work hard and support the family, it's not an holiday.
You are correct... Still, for a lot of them, it's about getting citizenship.

The foreign Citizenship is the Lottery, as far as they are concerned.

This is beyond greed and wickedness.
