According to Op, cement is cheaper in Nigeria...! If they are getting wholesale here, and shipping to Cameroon or other nations, how is that smuggling?!! Where is the crime here?!! Except they are stealing these cement bags, and taking them out of the nation to sell. Am I missing something?!! Is cement scarce in Nigeria?!! |
Sigh... We are exporting gas, yet we pay more for gas than those importing it. Nothing can ever really make sense in this country... The harder you look, the dumber you seem. Naira has been strengthening for weeks now, yet inflation continues to soar. |
Iamzik:Yes, we all know this... You can't expect them to publicly acknowledge this na. ![]() The best they can do is have a word with themselves and make economic compromises. Na common Nigerians dem fit use score political points. |
Juliusganduje:What you should be really concerned about is what Niger Delta does with Niger Delta oil money... What exactly have your governors, elders, and youth leaders been doing with the oil money for decades now?!! Last time I checked, those producing the oil get the largest chunk (I believe over 13%) of the revenue generated...! If other states getting less than 5% are doing wonders with theirs, what is the excuse for Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta, etc?!! Why are your states less developed than Lagos and Kano?!! Demand answers... Look inwards rather than outwards. |
This is just common sense...! If not economic sabotage, why on Earth would anyone use a foreign currency to transact business in his own country?!! I have never heard of such in developed nations. Why can't we be patriotic and sensible in this country and continent?!! |
This one is making noise here for publicity...! Nigeria is already a one party state. ![]() |
omooba969:Really?!! This better be a joke. |
Well done to him...! Nothing as sweetly fulfilling as someone achieving his life's goals. |
melodyogonna:There is no smoke without fire... She clearly said that the product is sugary and has killed or led to the death of people. That is not review... That is defamation. If all she did was objectively and respectfully review the product, there would have been neither fuss nor legal issues. She is not the first to review a product online, and she won't be the last. Even since her arrest and legal troubles, people have been reviewing products, services, etc online... Like Movies for example. |
Well done to the fire fighters. Just look at that erratic wiring and connection from that pole. ![]() |
Whatever rocks their boat...! |
melodyogonna:Absolutely not... Public reviews are acceptable and common place. However, posting unverified or unverifiable information aimed at damaging the reputation of a corporation is not only frowned upon by Law, but viewed as criminal. Reviews should be done with facts and objectivity. |
Since when did Catholic Priests become snitches?!! Nah... This is too farfetched. Sounds fake and concocted. Who even confesses to illegal immigration to a Priest?!! Lol. |
ivolt:That lady went too far! She probably thought it would be social media business as usual. God help her! |
melodyogonna:Well, the right or advisable thing to do is write or email the customer care center of the organization producing the product, and tag or copy Relevant government agencies like Nafdac and Consumer Protection. When your mail is ignored, then you can go online. Image is everything in consumer and client centered businesses. To destroy someone's image is beyond criminal...! Besides, this is not a case of product review... The gist is that she lied and made unsubstantiated claims intended to harm the reputation (image) of the company. You should review with sound and verifiable facts... Have witnesses if possible. |
When they tell you people to mind what you post, y'all think it's a joke...! What started as a normal trolling post has degenerated into arrest, lengthy judicial processes, and now, Immigration ban. |
Every step taken to mitigate the demand and dependence on the Dollar at the detriment of the Naira is most welcome. Nothing will give me more joy than to see Nigeria's economy soaring high. I await to see the prices of goods and services plummet all over the nation. Pharmaceuticals are still very expensive. |
This is good news...! However, if you people are secretly subsidizing the currency with loans, thunder go faya una. If the Naira is strengthening due to other steps like exports, local production and consumption, etc... Then, may God be praised. Meanwhile, prices of some goods are still going up... Fuel is still being sold at #700 per Liter. |
Freshtruth:Whether e normal or dey abnormal, e no consign anybody. He is not helping you or myself. |
#5000 per day... That's about #150000 per month. Constant electricity is not for the poor or middle earners in this 3rd world country. |
blowjohn:Yeah... Great point. I witnessed that. However, this one is different! A 3-horse race this tight and close down to the wire. |
MadamExcellency:Different situation please. A lot is at stake now... Spurs has UCL qualification at stake, so they won't be messing around. Chelsea and United have bones to pick with Arsenal... United will go all out to frustrate Gunners. Well, I hope Arsenal stays focused and overcomes these huge hurdles. I desire them to win this title... They have exceeded all expectations this season. |
tuzle:True... I'm counting on a surprising turn of events. Let's have a new winner for a change! Arsenal or Liverpool abeg. |
Impressive...! Our very own McDonald's. ![]() We need more of such successful franchises across sectors: Pharmaceuticals (Medplus, Health plus, etc), Cement, Bakery and Confectionaries, etc. |
OgaRico:Yeah... You're kinda right. Arsenal is in a tight spot, with their run of fixtures. Winning those games in a row will be Mission Impossible. Well, it's an interesting run-in. Let's see who the odds will favor. |
abobote:Man United is a whole 11 points away from top 5! Do you know what that means?!! That they have to win 4 straight games, which Spurs and Villa have to lose as well, in order to get in there. Nah... They aren't going to Europe. ![]() |
OgaRico:Well, as much as City now looks like having all the aces, it's still football. Anything can happen. City might lose games you'd expect them to win, and Arsenal might win those tough games. Nothing is really certain until 3 games to go. |
Mightymanna:...And Chelsea, Man United, and Spurs can't beat Arsenal if they play the game like a final?!! Lol! Arsenal needs a miracle, and yes, they will need teams to derail Liverpool and City. That's how football works. ![]() |
obembet:One of the contenders is also facing Chelsea and Man United...! Arsenal has a long and perilous battle on their hands. Getting 9 points off Spurs, Chelsea and United will be the stuff of legends. |
Zonefree:Tottenham and West Ham...! The latter can be a dark horse. |
Not gonna lie... Man City has the sweetest run of games. Arsenal needs to be wary of Spurs, Chelsea, and Man United... The latter 2 have nothing to lose, and will enjoy causing Arsenal serious misery. Doesn't mean they can't win all... Arsenal is the strongest team in the EPL right now. At this point, every point counts... So, none of these 3 can afford to draw games, going forward. In all, whoever wins this title will be really amazing and worth celebrating. I have not seen a title race this close and intense across Europe in almost a decade. |
A lot of you need to learn to embrace singleness, and save your lives...! |
