michelin89: I have a habit of lying unnecessarily. It just seems so much easier when the truth and the lie are both irrelevant. I know what you mean though sometimes older age won't equal maturity. |

Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: How Can A Black American Girl Get A Nigerian Guy? by angelgirl1(f): 1:42pm On Jun 04, 2009 |
My sister specifically wants an African man (not necessarily Niaja, they could also be Kenyan or Ghanaian) because she likes their facial features. She thinks they are usually more attractive than black American men. And also African men usually are more intelligent (not inherently I am guessing that African people have a more family oriented culture), and less confrontational than African American guys from what we have seen of African guys. my aunt married a Yoruba man and he is a very devoted father. He is a great man. She would take a good man as he might come but as of now none have come forth so why not look about the ocean to see what she is attracted to while fishing? Preferably a secular man. We reside in the southern states of the USA and never leave our bedrooms. Why not Afri American guys? Well most not all but too many African American men live by the laws of their pagan gods (Tupac, Biggie) and follow in the footsteps of their pagan angels (50 cent, Snoop Dog). Their bible is called hip hop or rap. It is hard to find an African American guy who is not HipHopligious. They are so rare. My sister is not into organized religion. So, this is no scam and when I said get I meant into serious relationship that will eventually lead to marriage. Do you think that American women and Naija men are too culturally different for my sister to imagine such a thing? |
Romance / Re: Literate Or Illiterate Women, Which One Obey And Respect Their Husband Better? by angelgirl1(f): 7:49pm On Jun 03, 2009 |
Being illiterate is a sad existence. Depriving one of knowledge is sick. Humans are beings that are meant to use their brains. This is a sick question in my opinion. Just saying. I would hope that if a man happened to fall into marriage with a woman who was illiterate he would be wise enough to advise her to become literate. I view this question as if you are implying that an illiterate woman will be easier to control and take advantage of. If you have to control and take advantage of someone to find what you want in them then you truly have nothing. |
Dating And Meet-up Zone / How Can A Black American Girl Get A Nigerian Guy? by angelgirl1(f): 7:46pm On Jun 03, 2009 |
I am just asking for reference. Are they too culturally incompatible for the relationship to last? What are some good places for an American girl living in America to meet a Nigerian guy? I have a bf I am asking for my sis. |

Romance / Re: Is Age A Barrier In A Relationship by angelgirl1(f): 3:11pm On Jun 02, 2009 |
As long as they are both mentally and physically (<<both have matured bodies and at least older than 21) matured adults who know and love themselves, know what they want in life, and where they are going in life I think that age differences become unimportant. |

Romance / Re: What Rule Do I Play, My Neighbour's Gf Is Cheating? by angelgirl1(f): 3:02pm On Jun 02, 2009 |
ewoma4good: But you have no way of knowing if they are using protection or not. This could cost him his life. I think you should at least talk to her about her ways. You could mail him an anonymous letter detailing everything that you saw. And giving him a heads up on a good time to catch her red handed. |
Romance / Re: What Rule Do I Play, My Neighbour's Gf Is Cheating? by angelgirl1(f): 2:55pm On Jun 02, 2009 |
He should know. She might contract an std and pass it on to him. I say just tell him. |
Romance / Do Nigerian Men Lie, Cheat, And Treat Their Wives/girlfriends Wrong A Lot? by angelgirl1(f): 2:45pm On Jun 02, 2009 |
That is a popular stereotype. Don't you think that stereotypes have some truth to them to. I mean if a lot of Nigerian men weren't doing this then why would a lot of people come to that same conclusion and thus proclaim Nigerian men as liars and cheaters etc, |
Romance / Re: Who Are The Greatest Lairs, Men Or Women by angelgirl1(f): 8:57pm On May 31, 2009 |
Men usually tell careless lies. Women lie less so than men but they are more calculating with their lies. Men are more likely to get caught in a lie. Women probably mostly never get caught. |
Romance / Re: Re: What Is It With Girls And Tall Guys Anyway! by angelgirl1(f): 8:31pm On May 31, 2009 |
I am 5'9 so you wouldn't be that much taller than me. Anyway I think it has to do with primitive times when women wanted the biggest strongest man to take care of the nest, be a provider, and fight. I also find myself oddly drawn to tall guys but that is not true for all women but most. |
Romance / How do Naija guys usually pursue a girl they like? by angelgirl1(f): 8:00pm On May 31, 2009 |
My aunt married a Yoruba man and I remember specifically that he immediately took to her children that she already had with another man previously as though they were his own. He had them calling him 'baba' (at the time they were still toddlers). It was so cute. Anyways is that usual of the way in which Naija men might pursue a woman? |
Romance / Re: Why Is It That Men Weakness Are Women? by angelgirl1(f): 7:48pm On May 31, 2009 |
Because men are biologically drawn to women. Their bodies, their softer personalities, etc, Men look to women for an ego boost as well. If women like him he feels great about himself. |

Romance / Re: How To Get A Guy To Dump You Please Help! by angelgirl1(f): 9:48pm On May 27, 2009 |
Basically I stress him out because when he gets home he is very tired and just wants to be off to himself. But he also feels guilty because he never really spends time with me anymore between work, commuting, and coming home relaxing (sleeping, etc, ). Basically I also am a little sad that I don't get much time with him. But even more so it makes him feel bad about himself that he doesn't have time to spend with me. Maybe if I was out of the picture for a while it would be better for the both of us. I love him though. It sounds evil but I don't want to do anything to hurt him. I was just wondering if there was a way to get him to be annoyed by me maybe to the point that he would dump me or want to take a break but that way since he is annoyed he won't be sad that I am gone but relieved. Does that make sense? |
Romance / Re: How To Get A Guy To Dump You Please Help! by angelgirl1(f): 9:37pm On May 27, 2009 |
C2H5OH: nope he is the only guy for me. but if i stick around in this relationship i know that in a few months there won't be much love left between us, totally bad timing. |
Romance / Re: How To Get A Guy To Dump You Please Help! by angelgirl1(f): 9:32pm On May 27, 2009 |
ibkaye: Phrased that wrong instead of incompatible it is rather bad timing for us to be together. He is just starting his career and I don't want anything to cause him anymore stress than he already deals with at work. Me and him being together is not good right now. But it will be good in the future. But if I dump him or take a break he will be sad. So it is best that he take a break from me on his own will. That way he will have less trouble with me out of his life and less stress able to focus on his career. And I can eventually waltz back into his life and our love will be new again. |
Family / Re: Why Do Marriages Fail? by angelgirl1(f): 9:24pm On May 27, 2009 |

Romance / How To Get A Guy To Dump You Please Help! by angelgirl1(f): 9:23pm On May 27, 2009 |
Without doing evil things like lying, cheating, etc, I would never cheat on my bf or lie to him. But how can I get him to dump me w/o causing him any pain. To the point where he feels good after I am gone not sad? You will probably want to know why I wish for my bf to dump me well I know that we truly love one another but I that we are incompatible and it is taking a toll on our relationship. I want to wipe the slate clean by having him dump me and then I will win him back again and the relationship will be brand new again. |
Romance / Re: If A Girl Is Extremely Busty (breast-wise), Is It A Sign Of Way-Wardness? by angelgirl1(f): 9:08pm On May 27, 2009 |
This is a popular myth. No the size of a woman's breasts does not determine if she is way-ward or not. Her character determines such. 1 Like |

Romance / Naija Men What Do You Think Of African American Women? by angelgirl1(f): 1:13pm On May 27, 2009 |
Would you consider most African American women for short term dating only, or long term dating, and would you ever marry one? What challenges do you think a Naija man would face being in a relationship with an African American woman? |
