This is terrible for our politics, especially with those who refuse being the greatest wailers for dividends of democracy. Democracy that they did not work for. Sowed nothing but want to reap something. Are they also thieves like the politicians they criticise?



Why should INEC do anything about it?
Moghalu, Ezekwesili, Utomi, Durotoye and the other jobless noisemakers should do that from now with massive sensitisation schemes instead of being emergency candidates six months to the lections.

Many Nigerians are saying Obaseki defeated Oshiomole, it's as if Ize Iyamu never contested. Oshiomole dominated his campaign to the point that his message was lost to Edo people and the DG of APC Governors forum raised the alarm but was ignored.

That national broadcast to Edo people by Tinubu added salt to injury and was misinterpreted to mean that Tinubu desperately wants to pocket Edo like he has done to some other states politics. His silence and working assiduously from behind the scene would have been better for Ize-Iyamu.

Having Ganduje who was caught on camera stuffing dollars into his pocket and Hope Uzodinma who was 'elected' as Imo State Governor by Supreme Court justices and who came with a Mace belonging to Imo state House Assembly to be used by the factional Edo Assembly members heading the campaign team of APC was a misnomer.
A combination of Governor Zulum and Fayemi who are seen as suave pragmatic gentlemen heading APC campaign would have denied PDP propaganda materials used on electronic billboards in Benin roundabout.

The subtle interference by US, EU and UK threatening visa restrictions denied Ize Iyamu of the much anticipated deployment of federal might, the politicians and heads of security agencies don't want to be added to the list as most of their kids live and school in Europe and America and their loots are also stashed there.

I don't know what is your own with me guy. Are you the one in charge of my savings and investment? You're just mad for nothing but you know what I'm saying is the truth. I started investing in Tbills in 2017. Normally in a regular economy many people will invest for 10 years and feel okay with their low interest rate in other climes but can you do that in Nigeria? Invest in Tbills for 10 years. This is my simple point. If had converted my money even at black market rate to dollars in 2017 and just left it in the bank doing nothing I'd be richer today than all the investment cycles I've done in Tbills because of Naira current devaluation. For over 10 years the naira has continuously fallen. I'm sure if u plot a graph of Naira against dollars since 2010,it would point straight down. I'm now beginning to re-evaluate my investing with naira. Im kind of buying into the idea to invest in dollars because I don't think the next 10 years may be different. There was time when it was 147 then 225 then 345 now its 460. Then next it will go to is 500 and something.
