This is a vely big plobrem for us if it is now a clime to be Igbo.
It may not be a crime to be Igbo but it is a crime to not only have an Igbo accent but to have one with those consonant crisis. |

An Imam once made a sexual advance at me. We were reading the karatu when he snuck up from behind and grabbed my gbola. I don't know what I recited in the karatu that made my gbola become a green snake.
He ran away and to this day he still calls me Amuagwo.

Store muffins and box juice for breakfast can you imagine. Do you want to kill yourself?
You even typed you eat four for breakfast who those that? . I was even here thinking you're a chef or Don in the kitchen. You just disgrace me, you shouldn't have upload that as breakfast.
Now knee down, place your two hands on your head and repeat this after me..... My Father my father, oh load my God please make me to be like Chasers, Chasers don't drink box juice, Chasers don't eat store muffin that looks expired. All this I ask in your name Amen and Amen.
My son you can now get up.. Go and criticize no more. Savages everywhere |

Temih18: Hi everyone, i've been a silent reader of this thread for a while, I just need answers to some questions. I'm 22yrs in my 3rd year in the University, my bf is in US, his dad is a Legal permanent resident who filed for him and he has been there since last year. We've been very close friends for 3years now but we only just started dating after he left the country and we really don't have any pictures together. He hasn't gotten his permanent resident card yet so he can't leave the country, my question is what if him or his Dad invites me over for a visit next summer during my school break and if I get letters from my school, is being a student here enough proof that I'll come back, Also since my bf isn't a permanent resident yet, what are my chances of getting a visa. Do I indicate he's my bf when we really don't have pictures together or do I say he's a close friend. What do you suggest is a better way to visit. Please I really need all the answers I can get Your chances of getting the visa is zero, you are still a student + no income + no solid assets / investment + with the current US stands on NIV, your chances of getting a visa is -- 1 trillion percent + the only ties you have is your educational pursuit in Nigeria which can be dumped on arrival in the US, don't waste your money, wait until after you finish your school or your boyfriend gets his papers and come back to marry you in Nigeria, otherwise securing a US visa with your current profile is like telling Buhari to climb Mountain Everest with a bathroom slippers |

sassysure: My dear, fear catch me o
On a second note, considering all things, it seems that people don't actually know the difference.
We are here to learn after all.
The Nigerian Irish Potatoe is classified as vegetable not tuber. It has very low calorie content and very ideal for weight loss. The only problem is that it's very expensive. It's called veggie because the starch is minimal. Not noticeable like the rest. It even have less starch than the baking potatoe I use here yet baking potatoe( another type of Irish potato) is very low in calories.
On the other hand, sweet potatoe is full of starch. As a matter of fact, the sweet potato we have in the east is worst than yam as far as starch is concerned. Not good for diabetic patients. And highly recommended if one want to gain weight. It's called sweet potatoe for a reason and sweet equals sugar and we know what sugar can do to the body. |

NwaAmaikpe:

Sad. No happiness can possibly come to the mind of anyone who has lost someone dear to them to cultism but it did to mine when I lost a dear friend "Icebug" to cultism in the nineties.
He was very promising, amongst the best in the Structural Engineering class and a ladies' man because of his sizable manhood. He was also my go-to-guy on Calculus and Engineering design.
The heartbreak was out of this world.
I knew it forever altered a part of me. I had not only lost my big-preeked homie but also my sanity because I left his funeral surprisingly very happy that I was lucky to have borrowed his new Casio scientific calculator and one Strength of Materials textbook two days before he was killed.
God knows I didn't want to return it. You have started again with your jugunu analysis

I know a number of people who went into Canada with a visiting visa and after some months got married to a Canadian Citizen and then the Canadian citizen filed for the person to get Canadian permanent residency. lt is the truth, some do genuine marriages and it sailed through while some others did arrangee marriage and it hit a Brickwall, I used the word " arrangee"

Travel › Re: Poultry Business In Nigeria Or Travel To Canada by AngelicBeing: 4:29pm On Sep 23, 2019 |
Bawss1: That's not how it works. If you go to Canada as a visitor you will not be allowed to work in any capacity, whether self-employed or otherwise. The only way to get around this is illegal and you will suffer needlessly for any little gains till you eventually get caught by the authorities.
Also, no province or territory in Canada will let you set up a business without providing the necessary documentation and permits. There is no exception on this matter for citizens or PR let alone visitors.
There is no way to transition from a visitor to a PR without going through the pathways provided by the government. If you are intent on relocating to Canada and living a peaceful life you will do well to be guided by the stipulations on the IRCC site.
Be careful not to fall for the stories of people who claim they have ways of beating the system. Well said, some enter with visit visa and they go for Aduro levels / arrangee iyawo / oko route to buy time but all those kulikuli route don cast |

Tina26: no need arguing with him. He is a deluded fellow. Is lMAI that easy to get. There are pr holders here already with no good jobs( including Indian IT gurus) . Why will any employer want to process an lMAI when canadians and PR holders are on ground. Some people are obsessed with short cuts. Self employed in a TRV. What a big joke Spot on, lots of jokers on this thread, sometimes I just laugh at people's ignorance, few years ago, I met 2 guys in Toronto with PhD (obtained in Canada) and jobless, I lost contact with them and I don't know if they eventually got a job, it is sometimes better to ignore some folks on this board because they are ignorant of the situation on ground |
