I could try to help. Note that I am not good with technical analysis. smiley please make your final decision on what you think, not what I say.

Which coins specifically and why are you not confident about them to the point that you want to sell over the weekend? There is no guaranttee that it will remain at the same price you sold at when you want to buy again.

If it is Btc, you should think long term and relax a bit. No need to sell. It is the Alt coins that is the issue. If you bought Eth, i may say that you should relax. ETH is here to stay.

For other alt coins, it depends again on what you bought and your confidence in that coin based on TA and Fundamentals. There are actually not a lot of good alt coins hence the term shitcoins. People trade on these ones and they make you good profits or good losses. smiley

You could work on minimising any chance of loss by not spreading your money too thin. What I mean is try not to buy too many coins. You will not maximise your funds well that way. Keep focus whether trading or long term. Maybe 6 to 8 or less. In fact, personally, I would say less.

Crypto is an evolving space. We are all learning. At least for me, I have learnt a lot reading people's contributions here...but it is important to not chase everything. That is when fear comes during a dip.

I know I have said a lot but I hope this helps. Other people will reply you soon.

Thanks for the feedback. They are 3 alt coins, although they're doing well: KSM , VET and Zil.

I'll just patiently wait it out, till they get to my target. Thanks

With this regular pull-backs and deeps during the weekends, I don't know if I should sell my coins before the end of today and buy back on Sunday or early Monday?

Will this weekend be different?

Please house, what will you advice?. Thanks in anticipation

Thanks bro. Their's no kind of money I've not gambled with when i was still in the dark playing Bet9ja. I have invested 462k on Bet9ja and i still lost. So i can handle any emotional attachments. In Bet9ja you either win or you loss. Here you can hardly loss all your money unless you are not even watching the stock at all

Wishing you the best. In stock Investment, you'll make gains and losses, the most important thing is for your gains to far exceed your losses!

What will change in the Live account?

They won't execute the trade at all or their will be slippage or they will execute the trade late? What exactly in your mind makes Sim account Different from Live trade?

The only thing different is the money. One has real money and the other has not. In a Sim account you trade in live market condition without using your real money. Even professionals like me still use Sim account when you want to change your broker to see how the new broker works. What matters most to a day trader like me is the prompt execution of trades. Every fraction of second matters.

Since you are doubting sis, i will send you the screenshot of my live trade soon. I will wait for Trading 212 from now till the end of the month, if nothing happens, I will fund my ChoiceTrade account. I. Prefer Trading 212 because they execute trades with a speed of light. They execute trades faster than any other broker I've tried their platform.

I will send the screenshot to you baby Girl

I'll advice you to Calm down with your over-confidence when it comes to the stock market. There is no perfect trader or Investor.

@ the bolded, the only difference between the two accounts is YOUR EMOTION

Your EMOTION because in a live account, your HARD-EARNED MONEY will be involved and this can trigger some irrational decisions if you don't have self control/ discipline and patience.

Wishing you the best of trade when you get verified!

They're both good coyns with good PA. I own both.VET has broke previous ATH and is now retesting it... It should accelerate in the coming days or weeks. Same thing UNI is doing.
Theta also did same thing after breaking ATH, it came back to flip the level before accelerating... Don't be surprised ksm slows down after some time and comes back to retest ATH.
My target for vet is 0.09- 0.1.
For ksm, I'm looking out for at least 2x from previous ATH which should take us to about 500..

After such strong breakouts, I tend to let stuff ride and not over manage it except when I suspect a significant betece move

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Please I'll appreciate your signals on both coyns when btcee makes such move as I'm still learning in the crptoo space. Thanks in anticipation

Anderson connectors will work.

Good day, thanks for the feedback. Pls what are Anderson connectors and how do they work?

Though I've decided to use it directly on my 12V battery after my installer couldn't get the adoptor recommended here. Thanks

I think this is 12v DC iron. It won't thrive on 230v AC power supply.

I have that type of pressing iron in store for about 3 years now. I've only used it on direct battery connection on maybe two occasions before I retired it. I anticipate connecting it directly to a dedicated 18v/150w panel port one of these days to see if it will be finally useful in that set up.

Good day, thanks for d feedback. Yes it's 12V DC iron.

I will just stick to using it directly on a 12V battery for now. Thanks

the price of a 20A 12V adapter if readily available will be more costly than the pressing iron itself. it's best to use it directly with your 12V battery.

Okay, I'll do as you have advised. Thanks for your assistance.

Was hoping for NiyiOmoIyunade to come to the rescue but ... here I go: purely resistive loads like yours typically aren't concerned with whether the power source is AC or DC. They do care a lot about the voltage as the power consumption is consumed is a function of the resistance at that voltage, resistance presumed constant. The heating element might not withstand the heat generated at higher voltages and the risk of fire is immense at a voltage 20 times higher - the heat generated is proportionally greater. You'd be holding a furnace!

Just thought I'd chip that in, in case you're tempted to try some science.

Wow!, thanks for the detailed explanation. I'm grateful.

I will go by your advice by connecting the plug I posted earlier to the DC iron then look for a 12V 220V adapter with at least 20A to be used on the normal socket for ironing. Thanks

Hello ma,

Please, what is the power rating of this iron? And how much did you buy it?

Also, kindly let us know how you eventually make use of it.

Thanks

Hi, it is 150W 12V and I got it from Justcallmenuel. He sells it for #8,000.

No problem, I'll give a feedback when put to use.

I guess valto has said it all. Your home socket is AC voltage and current while the iron expects DC voltage/current. That plug is rated for 13A yet it's likely your iron will require more than a 13A DC current. In short if you love that iron no try ham o, the smoke will shock you cheesy

Lol! I wouldn't have tried it o!

I was thinking that there may be a DC equivalent of the plug. Thanks

dont try it, this is strictly a 12V DC pressing iron. it must be connected to a 12V DC source. the only way it can work on your normal socket is to look for a 12V 220V adapter with at least 20A.

Thanks for your suggestion, I'm grateful!

Though, I was never going to use it directly.

You're right Ma.
Bargain investors were picking from observation.
Around this time, I dont expect prices to dip much more lower.
UBA for instance, got to 7.55 before reversing up, it's only the likes of @Peterichy that will be waiting for it at N2.50k and still expect to collect dividend of 70/80kobo by Mar/Apr. grin
Warm greetings from here Ma'am. smiley
Compliments of the season.

Exactly. thanks, same to you ma!

I even missed my UBA bid @ #7.50. Anyway, let's see what the market has in mind!

In my opinion, I think anyone with fat pocket should be cherry picking by now........I hope I'm not too hasty with this.... grin

UBA Sold as low as 7.55/7.60 earlier but it's back to 7.95/8.00 by now........
Zenith:Down to N23 but now at N24.........
So are some others.........
Quite some purchases going on by some bargainers .......

Let's keep watching how events are unfolding......

I don't think you are hasty@ the bold. I expect bargainers to start buying in tranches from today.

Catching the exact bottom of a market can be tricky and makes one to lose out especially for those already calling out their almost infeasible entry price.

Greetings madam and good job you are doing here!

I think brokers sell to their clients first if both buyers and sellers are from them by chance. It's a form of cross deal because they care about their commission which will accrue from the transaction.

This makes lot of sense, thanks!

Still trying to understand my yesterday's experience, could it be stockbroker advantage?

I bought some units of transcorp@ less than #1.00 last week through Morgan capital.

Wanted to add to my position yesterday, bidded through both Morgan capital and Meristem:

- Placed my first bid through Morgan capital and was in the 1st 10 positions but my bid failed at the end of the day

- Later placed my second bid through Meristem and was close to the 30th position. All my bid was filled at the end of the day!

Please does anybody have any reason for this disparity? Thanks
