F00lish, 5tvpid hyperactive bot that is just banning like something that is corona-infested. N0ns3nse. Mstcheeeeeew!

I think the m0derat0rs of this thread need to audit and re-evaluate their censored words of this thread with the aim of expunging from their library technical terms that are commonly used here. Haba! Why would anyone censor the word "a-m-p"

Back to better business jare

Can an extra MPPT standalone controller be connected in parallel to increase the solar inputs charging the batteries, in case one wants to increase battery capacity?

Does it imply that the in-built controller is only twenty a-m-p?

Is it MPPT?

The m0derstors really need to upgrade this forum, I still don't know why I was banned unnecessarily yesterday while trying to ask @Namzy a question yesterday.

Namzy:

My brand. Using for close to 2 years now no issues. Mppt max is 600w but I've seen people use 1200w and still the unit kept powering. Only problem is it enters float a lil too early [bmv reads 88-90% when it enters float] while my cc enters float at about 98%. Also the constant fan running noise on loads greater than 200w but I've learnt to live with that. This inverter is infamous in South Africa

Are u completely off-grid with your setup and how has your experience been by using the in-built charge controller of your ipowerplus inverter? I am planning to start with 600W panels after this lock-down and gradually increase my panel size with extra charge controller.

House.

Is this inverter good that it can be recommended for someone? I don't want anyone to come and be locking my shirt after 6 months o.

Very good inverter, I've been enjoying mine since 2016 in addition to the ipowerplus batteries. Although, I've not yet added solar to my setup but hoping to do so soon

Yes, I prefer bigger Phones. If the note 9 pro max isn't launched globally , then I'll go for the note 9s. Thanks

E go pain me if dem no do global version for the Redmi Note 9 pro max. Already decided it's my next device.

Me too! I 've been looking forward to the releasing of Max 4 since last year but was very happy when I saw that the specs of Redmi note 9 Pro Max met my expectation.

They should not disappoint me O! I was almost tempted to buy the note 8 last year but patiently waited this far. Besides, my husband will so yab me after I have started teasing him that his almost 1 yr Old note 7 is now Old school and that I'll intimidate him when I buy my Redmi note 9 Pro Max.

Let's just all hope for the best!

Nice! Remember to buy in bits during this season. I started buying FBNH at N6.50 or more when I thought bargain don arrive... grin. Fast-forward to few weeks later, it traded at N3.60 but yours truly is sitting on good units of FBNH and my breakeven price is now N5. So buy gradually!

Exactly! Buying in tranches this period is a better strategy

#125 is a good price but bid lower, #116-#118 will be a better entry.

It's good to hear that you've experienced both, I have only experienced meritrade for a while and think they were quite responsive, is that the same with Morgan?

They are both responsive but the customer service of meritrade is quite impressive..

In terms of real-time trading experience, I give it to morgan capital, meritrade can be slow and heavy sometimes, especially recently.

You can still open a trading account with Morgan Capital and compare your experience with both.

I use morgan capital for my short-term Investments and some quick gains (JIJO), so their lower charges becomes advantageous; but use meritrade for my mid-term/long-term Investment, I dare not try JIJO on meritrade because I'll end up enriching meritrade due to their higher charges.

Yes, cheaper is an understatement! . I use both morgan capital and meritrade but can confidently say morgan has greatly improved and impresses me more.

There is this angle to Nigeria's COVID-19: Nigerians, whether due to poverty or any other thing(s) don't usually go to hospitals except they are in critical condition. From statistics, over 80% of COVID-19 cases are mild. So, its assumed a high number of infected Nigerians will not show up in hospitals while they keep transmitting. This may not go according to established/emerging curves in other countries.

Abeg no one should come for my head oo.

The major challenge to the Nigeria's COVID-19 situation is not necessarily poverty, but the POOR HEALTH-SEEKING BEHAVIOR among Nigerians. When sick, their first point of call is the pharmacy ( for both the rich and poor). The major symptoms of COVID-19 is similar to that of malaria fever, which further complicates the situation for us as a country. Another issue is the inadequate preparedness of our health institution due to a lack of testing kits and other necessary equipment.

God will help us, there is nothing HE cannot do. My fellow investors- HEALTH is WEALTH, pls protect yourselves and loved ones by some of these measures :

1. Holding unto God

2. Eat right by taking diets to boost your immune system such as green vegetables, honey. citrus fruits, pawpaw, apple, Carrots, red-ball pepper ( Popularly known as tatatse in Nigeria), ginger, garlic, bitter kola, drink a lot of water etc.

3. Observe good personal hygiene like hand washing and sanitizing

4. Maintain social distancing

5. Always remember that HEALTH is WEALTH, so invest wisely and for those that are currently in heavy loss, pls stay calm and still invest wisely so as to be mindful of your BLOOD PRESSURE.

IT IS WELL IN JESUS NAME

Why not try and average down small if you still have spare fund?
That's what I'm doing small small and my average cost is at N12+ now, watching if it will go below 9.65 in days to come again.
I know some of my bosses don't always advice this, but I think this is the best thing to do for me in this situation.

Wapco's delayed results is causing uncertainties in its stock price, apart from d general -ve state of d market due to global events. I just hope they eventually release a good result with a good dividend, if not their shareholders will be really disappointed and hurt!

Wanted to tell you this yesterday before the yeye bot banned me. I left it to completely discharge and the issue came back. So i opened it again and this time removed the battery clip and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and it started working. I'll do another test tomorrow. If problem persists, then the mifi has a terrible design flaw and the only way to keep it working is to not let the battery go down to zero.
I've checked the smartbro site and the mifi is no longer there. Any AliExpress seller still selling it must have bought it in large quantity. Although it's the best pocket mifi I've ever used, I won't recommend it to anyone

It's actually the best mifi I've used. Your observstion is true, the company needs to improve on the design.

The best thing to do is to totally avoid draining the battery when in use. I've been seriously monitoring my battery after abt 9 hrs of useage yesterday and already 4 hrs of use today, but the battery is still with a full bar. Thanks

Just fixed it.
Open the back of the mifi, remove the 11 screws or so and open the front of the mifi with a guitar pick or something flat. Remove the battery clip and detach the circuit board beside it. Some connectors under the board were poorly soldered and I believe one of them connects the battery. All I did was solder them again. Plugged in the charger and it started charging.
I thought the battery died and needed a jumpstart. Turned out battery is perfectly fine.

If you can't do it on your own, take it to someone with the right tools. Good luck

Good morning. I took mine for repairs yesterday and it's working perfectly now. Thanks for giving me hope.

He just cleaned the battery clip and it became okay when he fixed it back. Although, I told him to solder the connectors under d board as U did yours, but he insisted that there was no need for it. I decided not to insist since it's working well.

Same thing just happened to mine. The ZTE MF903. Tried everything possible, but it won't charge or turn on.
Did you fix yours?

Not yet. I decided not to tamper with it but patiently wait for solution from the person that helped me to order mine who has been unreachable since then.

I wanted him to chat up the seller as suggested on my behalf for a possible way out but I can’t reach him for now.

Pls let me know if U events allow solve yourself. Thanks.

Have you tried different charging methods? The battery probably needs a boost to come back on.

If it persists you can chat up the seller and let him know

Yes I have tried different changing methods but no improvement. Thanks.
