Though Q2 was out since July, I've not been following their pattern of div payment.
If I come across any info on this, I'll let you know too.

Good day madam, hope you are having a great day?

I have confirmed that they last paid interim dividend in 2011. They adopted an improved once a year dividend payment since 2012 till date. Thanks

Thanks, I'll do more findings abt their interim dividend.

Hello Family,

First off, we thought about YOU, our #TroveTribe, and we are happy to announce that there is no longer a $2 fee or trade minimum when trading using Trove. You only pay a flat 1% when trading now whether you are placing a $5 or $500 trade

Don’t Go Yet, There Is More!!!

As part of our continued effort to help you make more informed investment decisions, today we’re introducing a new product to empower investors of all skill levels to take better control of their investments.

Introducing Trove Plus : Your Personal Technical Analyst

Trove + is a set of advanced trading tools that help you spot investment opportunities, understand your portfolio better and ultimately maximize your chances of beating the market.

Curious about the perks that come with Trove Plus. Well, here are a couple

Daily Trade Ideas : We send you a list of 3 stocks we are bullish and 3 we are bearish on for the day to your inbox before markets open. The ideas are based on Technical Events identified by our renowned research partner. Every financial instrument is analyzed after every market close to confirm whether a new chart pattern has formed or technical indicator has triggered a signal, giving immediate insight into the possible direction of the price. The analysis is done for you, with full commentary, so you can find out what the price action is telling you.

Value Analyzer : This feature assesses all the key criteria to provide a simple visual traffic light indicating whether the stock is overvalued, near-fair value or even undervalued. It also comes with a forecasting tool to see how the fair value of the company changes based on shifting assumptions for earnings growth. This feature is also fully customizable to your personal preferences. A fully blown cheat sheet? You’re so welcome!

Custom Alerts : Get Insight into Technical events as they occur and have them delivered to your inbox. You can set alerts for any moves that would cause a shift on your investments, especially technical events. Want to know when your favorite stock dips below a certain price or when a stock breaks its support or resistance. Well..we got you covered.!!

Stock Screener : Our Value Screener enables you to filter for all the specific criteria you want and deem important such as dividend yield, revenue consistency and growth, what exchange the instrument is listed on and much more!
Trove + is all of the above plus a lot more. It is a premium feature and should come at a cost of $5 but it is FREE right now! Whoot Whoot ~~~!!!!

To test run the new product, you would need to update your Trove App to the latest version on the Google or iOS store and once done, click on the Market Insight section on the menu tab. If you trade using the web instead, just visit the menu tab on your dashboard to test run it.

Do let us know your thoughts on this new product. We hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Good day Sir, thanks for your effort to make trading stocks easier for us in Nigeria.

However, there are some other issues I think Trove should address such as the great disparities in exchange rate quoted on the Trove app when converting Funds from Naira to US dollars as compared to the offiicial one when deposits/withdrawals are made especially for those that don't want to go through domicillary account route but fund directly.

This disparities already puts an intending / prospective investor at a loss even before making an Investment through the Trove app. Please address it because it makes it discouraging to invest through your app. Thanks.

I imagine a situation where you want to cut your loses and dump your Guinness shares only to mistakenly make a BUY bid without noticing it. If such a thing has ever happened to you, come we have meeting by 3pm

Lol! mine was the opposite. My average entry price for Dangote cement was N143, I wanted to buy more when it dropped to about N115 but I mistakenly sold some at a loss.

It just shows we are human anyway, no need to feel bad about it, it will make you more careful next time!

You can't really compare them because the two firms' focus and the license they have differs.
Renmoney is more of a bank tending towards MDB but Investment one is an investment bank and a capital market operator regulated by SEC. So want you want will determine who to approach.
If you want a fund manager and a place for all forms of investment then investment one is your choice. As already advised by pa Emma you can do your due diligence on the two firms.
I have written alot here on investment one products particularly VGIF do well to read or contact me to know more about investment one and products offer by them. Check my signature for my contact phone number.

Good day, I just applied for a VGIF account today through the link on your signature.

Pls how many days will it take for the account to be opened? Hoping to have a great experience with Investment one.

The second one is Asian model comes into Nigeria as a brand-new unit.

the second one is more common and body parts available, both vehicles are good but ensure to check the engine walls well, the vehicle is plaqued with cracked engine block especially the tokunbo unit. so shine your eyes grin

Good day Sir. Pls I need your advice on the best choice to make. I want to get a Toyota Highlander with i4 engine between 2005-2009 for city driving on bad road in my location. Which year will you advise?

Although, a friend who is also a car dealer, is suggesting that he prefers I go for the 2005 model, I just want other opinions to make my final decision.

This 2.05% , but I have practically calculated their charge, and it was around 2.2%.

Yes you are right, this buy and sell charge of morgan capital was based on when there was no VAT on commission charges(brokerage fee), of 0.075%, which has been recently added.

Every other charges still remained same, so if you consider the VAT on commission charges of 0.075%, the new value will be:

* BUY CHARGE : 0.875%+ 0.075%= 0.95%
*SELL CHARGE : 1.175%+ 0.075%= 1.25%

* TOTAL BUY & SELL CHARGE = 0.95% + 1.25%= 2.2%

NiyiOmoIyunade:
Sorry for responding late please - it appears I was banned for reasons unknown.

It is okay to use at least two rods bonded together. You can always add more later for better results.

High level analysis here - two rods driven into the goround are essentially two resistances in parallel so you can expect about a 40% reduction in overall resistance (very desirable to have resistance as low as possible) when you drive the second rod and another roughly 20% reduction in overall resistance when you drive the third rod. Clearly as you reach 4th and 5th rods driven in the ground there is little incremental benefit to be had.

I lay out this science so you can be guided and actually enjoy the benefits of multiple rods driven into earth - you plan to put the rods close together BUT this will not help at all and may even worsen things The rods must be spaced at least twice their length apart e.g an 8 foot rod driven into ground must be placed at least 16 feet from the next rod to be sure you are getting the benefits. Knowing my penchant for over engineering I go 24 feet spacing for each 8 foot rod I drive into ground

Apart from the above caveat, everything else you have planned is on point and should give you the planned benefits. I am glad you are taking time to plan out the install before execution. Most people just execute with poor preplan and then deal with the issues later.

Thank you sir for the detailed explanation. Your advice is noted, I'm grateful.

NiyiOmoIyunade:
Ah boss! SPD is entirely useless and potentially even dangerous if there is no earth/ground to send the fault current to.

Putting a copper rod in the ground for protective earth is not an elaborate affair as such - anywhere in the compound from where you can run cable to your own flat/house is alright. We have used flower bed, just beside a ground floor window, just outside the compound beside a gutter, side of wall or fence.....

People just hammer the rod into the ground but this will only work with suitable soil - ideally you want to dig/auger a narrow hole like say 4 inches wide, put your copper rod in the center of the hole and backfill with suitable enhancement material - budget installs use industrial charcoal ground to a fine powder mixed with cement for a permanent earth. I would say 2 copper rods driven at least 16 feet apart is the minimum for safely channeling large surges from lightning e.t.c - if all you can do is one rod then it is better than nothing - just make sure it is the 8foot length type.

If all else fails, you can bond to a large metal body that is firmly connected to earth e.g the metal work frame that carries an overhead tank, car port or the water corporation metal pipe buried horizontally several meters length.

Half of my array is ground mounted sitting atop a large metallic frame embedded deep in the ground via 5 heavy duty concrete bases/legs - I did not bother to earth the frame the panels sit on as the entire assembly already has a firm connection to ground in Lekki saltwater soil.

Good morning sir. I've been following your discussion on lightning protection system and I need your input on what I intend to ensure for my installer to do based on your advice here.

I wanted to install the two new solar panels I bought this week but I had to postpone it because of the rate of lighting and thunder in my location since there is an absence of 'thunder arrestor' on my roof.

All the appliances, including my inverter have been properly earthed and connected to the earthing rod.

Based on your advice, will it be okay to re-enforce the protection of the system because of the addition of the panels by :

- connecting the thunder arrestor to a new earthing rod close to the previously installed earthing rod.

- interconnect both earthing rod with a copper cable

- connect a copper cable to the frame of the solar panels and join to the old earthing rod.

Thanks in anticipation!

@ahiboilandgas, emmanuelewunmi, my other investors Please, I have a warehouse near Coker/Odunade in Lagos which can take about six 20ft containers. My original plan was to be importing goods to be stored in the warehouse but I have found out that I cannot cope with the stress of importation. Now, I am looking for nonperishable goods that I can buy whole container from major importer at a huge discount or for products produced outside Lagos that I can buy in bulk, store in the warehouse and sell to retailers in small quantities. If by reason of your business or experience you know such a product or you have links to manufacturers outside Lagos State looking for distributor in Lagos please contact me on 0813 4103494 whatsapp/sms . I am willing to pay for profitable information. Thanks.

I am currently having some challenge with my WhatsApp. Send me a PM so that I can give you some useful information you may be interested in through mail.

The manufacturing company is in Kano and they need a major distributor in Lagos. I'm one myself in my state of residence.
