When you send the Army to go to an area after IPOB, the Army has no way of knowing who an IPOB member. As far as the Army is concerned, every adult male is IPOB.

People dont understand that the training of the Police and that of the Army is very different. The Police are trained to investigate, arrest and only to open fire in dire situations. The Army is trained that all situations are dire and to open fire. That is why the Army is never brought into civil unrest unless the situation has escalated to a critical level beyond the control of the Police

In this ENDSARS times, most states in the South of Nigeria witnessed the burning of Police stations and the loss of lives on both sides, protesters and Police. Governors were running around trying to calm down situation.

Wike was the only Governor who tried to make things worse in his home state. He just got up one morning, without any investigation or proof, claimed that IPOB destroyed lives and property in Obigbo. The next day, he invited the security forces into Obigbo. Now more people are dead and more properties are destroyed, all for what? Just so that a foolish Governor can look appealing to the North.
