AUTHORITIES of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), on Thursday, rejected the posting of any of its graduates to trouble spots in the country by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for their mandatory one year service. The school said the NYSC should allow graduating students to serve in their geopolitical zones, until the organisation and the Federal Government were able to guarantee their safety. The school, which said it was still traumatised by the death of one its graduates, Kehinde Jehleel Adeniji, who was killed in Bauchi State during the post-election violence, expressed worries that some of the graduates of the university were being posted to some of these states. http://www.tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/24403-aaua-rejects-posting-of-graduates-to-trouble-spots-for-nysc |

The InterContinetal Hotel in Kabul, which had housed Nigeria’s former anti-corruption czar, and last April’s presidential candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Nuhu Ribadu, came under a fierce suicide attack by Taliban fighters yesterday. Eight of the fighters stormed the hotel killing Afghan security officials and hotel guests. But Mr. Ribadu had recently left the country after a previous round of attacks against UN workers, relocating to China before returning to Abuja last month. Mr. Ribadu was appointed by the United Nations to help fight corruption in Afghanistan as part of an ‘Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Committee’. Right after the Nigerian general elections in April, the former boss of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission moved to Kabul to commence the assignment. http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/taliban-attacks-ribadu%E2%80%99s-hotel-afghanistan |

Today's edition of Nigeria Tribune. http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/23615-tinubus-trial-tribunal-members-nominated-to-be-inaugurated-next-week |
Let there be fairness, transparency and neutrality. No witch-hunting. With all these in place, Tinubu please face the tribunal and clear yourself. |
AT last, the two members needed for the Code of Conduct Tribunal to begin trial of cases sent to it by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) have been reportedly nominated, awaiting the approval of President Goodluck Jonathan. A plethora of high-profile cases had been reportedly sent to the tribunal by the bureau, with the money-laundering and illegal operation of foreign accounts cases of former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, topping the list |
This is exactly what i have been expecting Jonathan to do, Military action! Gbam!!! What do they want to dialogue with a common criminal; terrorists. I beg finish them to save unnecessary blood shedding. |

What type of conditions are they giving and to who? Well i blame Jonathan, they don't need any soft landing. What they need is serious Military action. To stamp them out of this shore. Bundle of blood suckers. |
