So, if not revolution what do you think we need? |
Sorry, Rear Admiral Arogundade was not dismissed but was only transferred from his post to administrative office in Abuja. Though, this was regarded as a discipline but not dismissed. I followed the whole process. |
We are tired of this kind of policing. Is this the way to police a community; incessantly raiding and harassing innocent persons, extorting and manhandling hapless people? No. I do not think this is how policemen should behave towards those they are supposed to protect and safeguard. We have had several DPOs in this community and none was as arrogant, carefree and unprofessional as the present one. If this continues, we will stage a protest and let the world know what we are going through.” Those were agonizing lamentations of a restaurant owner along old Ojo road, Agboju, Lagos who simply identified herself as Madam Lizzy. Curiously, Madam Lizzy is not the only one caught in the alleged dragnet of men and officers of Satellite police station, Agboju under the leadership of Superintendent of Police (SP), Akinola Adamu. Investigation revealed that for the past two years, residents, motorists, Okada riders and, of course, business owners operating within the area have suffered untold hardship in the hands of gullible and overzealous policemen who allegedly are acting on the instructions of their DPO. Looking for criminals Some of the victims who narrated their ordeal lamented to Crime Alert that the DPO, exhibits over zealousness in the discharge of his official duties. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/08/agboju-residents-want-dpo-removed-over-%E2%80%98incessant-raids-extortion%E2%80%99/ |
So, who can we adjudge as the greatest (fool) of the two. |
God deliberately reserved this guy IBB for a purpose and sign in Nigeria. I dont know yet but that is what i feel. I have no message of goodwill for the guy. He was the architect and engineer that designed the state we are in today. |
Let the old man pocket his suggestion. Did he want to take us back to the time of Moses?. I am a Xtian, that is not what we need for now!. |
Ayeraye ninu awon orun. 'Everlasting God' |

Thank God for his mercy and protection on him. There is no juju here, if you have skim through the man's profile. |
Whether Adenuga or whoever is buying, all we need is to get value for service paid for PERIOD. |
This guy may soon be silenced by the power brokers who are speaking behind the scene. We would have been interested in video but this is Nigeria. How time fly, can you imagine Al-mustafa going jelly and begging who once upon a time was among the people calling the shot. |
Yes, not just to borrow a leaf but execute an amplified version of Rawlings program. Naija is overdue for that and i think the time is very close too. |
Written by Oluwole Akinloye Tuesday, 26 July 2011 It is believed that the agricultural sector is one of Nigeria’s potential sources of revenue that is not yet developed and tapped. Agriculture represents nearly half of world exports of primary products. Many developing nations, including Nigeria, export primarily raw commodities. A new strategy that facilitates and adds value to our exports by processing and packaging unique products is urgently needed. Your investment might be in farming, animal rearing, processing, distribution, packaging, or information dissemination. Farming alone is not always able to provide a reliable livelihood for the growing populations in many developing countries but agro processing - turning primary agricultural products into other commodities for market - has the potential to provide reliable livelihood and employment for Nigerians Establishment of small-scale, appropriate and sustainable processing businesses that are flexible, require little capital investment and can be carried out in the home without the need for sophisticated or expensive equipment . This can go a long way in solving the problem of unemployment in Nigeria. Examples of such agro-based small and medium scale enterprise are : catfish smoking, garri processing, moringa tea and powder production, etc. The electricity demand for these three is low and the whole process can be achieved with little energy. Those olden are gone forever and Obas are aware of what the constitution said about this issue. To make the matter worse, the Oba in question is educated so he does not need any interpretation of the rule. My own stand is lets be objective, he should face the law; if the law acquit him fine else confinement. Recall the recent dethronement of Deji of Akure. He said what he did was customary but it lead to the breach of the public peace. Why dont Obas go and be making human sacrifices these days in the name of custom. I beg rape is rape, regardless of who is involved. |
Good for you. |
This is not funny and not a joke. I have info about this incident that happened abt 2 yrs ago. Nig police being what they are will definitely throw away the case. But this ritual of curse being carried out by this woman will definitely get the guys involved. The issue is when they are suffering it, nobody will be there to sympathise. But they will know the reason for their plight. This is no joke at all. |
I lost 350k to this kind of rubbish in 2007. If you key to it, you are on you own. OYO lo wa o o o . |
Four mobile policemen have been arrested by detectives attached to Ipaja Police Station, Lagos, for alleged armed robbery. The suspects are currently being detained by the Special Anti robbery Squad (SARS), at the State Command. They were arrested on their way from a robbery operation by police detectives who were on patrol. The suspects who were attached to different companies including banks are alleged to be responsible for the robbery at the Ikorodu branch of Skye Bank in January. The leader of the gang, Eboma Onyeka, a Sergeant was attached to a private company in Apapa. He was recently promoted to the rank of inspector. According to preliminary investigation, Onyeka has over N20million in one of his bank accounts. It was also gathered that the policemen on patrol stopped their vehicle and discovered firearms and ammunition inside. When they were interrogated, they said they were policemen returnning from their offices. However, the policemen who were not convinced drove them to their squadron where it was confirmed that the firearms were obtained illegally from the armourer. They were not signed for. They were there and then arrested and handed over to SARS for proper interrogation and investigation. It was in the course of interrogation that police operatives discovered that it was the same gang that has been terrorising banks in the metropolis. The Command Police boss, Mr Yakubu Alkali and his Public Relations Officer, Mr Samuel Jinadu, declined to comment on it. |

Obas are elderly people and not a post for bachelors. Many in yorubaland highly esteem them and accord them fatherly respect. Couple with the fact that the lady corper was packing a computer training program that the Oba knows about. So, if the lady is sick; it is not out of place for the Oba to fix the bill. Please, present another evidence to show that the said lady is the Oba fiance. They are just looking for ways of overtunning the table. I beg, Aregbesola dont get yourself involved. Let the law takes its due course. If found guilty, let him go and face the music. Afterall, prison were built for people that need to be corrected and readjusted. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. |
One month after being remanded in custody, the people of Ilowa in Obokun Local Government Council of Osun State have appealed to Governor Rauf Aregbesola to ensure that their ill monarch, Oba Adebukola Ali, who is standing trial in a case of alleged violation, is released. A female member of the National Youth Service Corps (name withheld) in April, 2011, accused the king of forcibly Being Intimate with her without using a condom. The NYSC authorities, Ministries of Justice and Women Affairs, among other Non-Government Organisations rose to the defence of the corps member by storming the Osogbo magistrate’s court with lawyers. The court headed by Magistrate Adewunmi Makanjuola remanded the monarch in custody four weeks ago, ordering prisons officials to ensure he (monarch) received qualitative healthcare service for his heart illness. According to Adebayo, who is the second-in-command to the monarch, the community has kept quiet over the case because a hearing on the case was yet to commence. He said, “Oba Adebukola Ali remains our king even if he is imprisoned for 100 years. He has done nothing wrong. The lady in question was his fiancé “We are going to inundate the court with loads of evidence. We are going to tell the court, who picked the lady’s bill when she was sick of malaria in Ilesa.” |
Jesus had no securities during his own time, Jesus rode horses during his time. I think the poster should condemn all pastor ridding cars and not horses becos Jesus did not use cars. Haba! |
This will not change anything among these guys. Quite alright, the Minister and some of his goons will make their own money from the 'change of uniform' but as for transformation. Thats for the trash. The only way out is complete overhaul of the system and get rid of the mafia and other in-house criminals. |
I need to take some caution abt Amosun at this juncture. Too many -ve information about him these days. |
