Hey, find out if they have a student's bus/train pass or discount card. In some cities in TX, students get a free ride with student ID. $4 ride on a student's income is expensive.

I didnt get the Bicycle to ride to school o...I got it to exercise my body and for a quick ride to the store to get some stuff real fast when needed instead of walking. And yes there is a Discount card, $50 monthly.(the $50 sef cost ) I didn't want to get it when i entered Boston because it was almost end of the month and it expires at the end of every month irrespective of what day of the month it was purchased. I am planning to get one on my way to school tomorrow for orientation.

Boston is cool. I am living in Hyde Park. Its a peaceful environment and blacks plenty for this area. So i feel at home. However, its still cold here, Sunny at noon but cold at night and snow wey fall since 2 days never melt finish. I can receive visitors now, but no loud music, I just bought a bicycle set wey i dey use go store come back shap shape...+ its close to the bus top, one bus to Orange T then a train to my school. $4 will take me to ma school.

Its a 2 Bdr dear....I took a room and they took a room, we share every other thing. I am happy because they are Nigerians and i have been eating 9ja food since i moved in. Its my 3rd day here and i am so impressed. I know in the future i will have to mind my own business when it comes to food but for now they are taking care of me full time. ...School resumes next week.

Can someone tell me why is accomodation so expensive here. All the rooms i keep seeing on craigslist goes for 450 and above....whats happening....I just got one yesterday in Boston because i am very close to resumption. $500 monthly. excluding Gas and Electricity. Im still in NY bro..School resumes April 8...I only went to Boston to meet the ISSI and to get a job and find an apartment too. I am back to NY but i go to boston regularly because i am already falling in love with the school. So big and everything looks nice. I will get my Husky card After orientation on April 3rd. With the husky card u can do everything in the school, meals, library, sports, Gym, everything...The library is so big man.

She said this is the second time she is getting tickets for it. And i will pay the next one that comes if i don't learn what she has to tell me. She said she knows i am new here but i have to learn how things are done here...She said the white nylon is for the plastic, bottles and plates but i have to wash them before i put them inside the nylon to the Bin. webstradamus: A prospective undergrad has no business whatsoever taking the GRE/GMAT in lieu of SAT/TOEFL ... the VO will not be impressed if they do! The student will only come off as confused; not knowing their left from their right. Just my thoughts ... I may be wrong though

You r not wrong...And i am not wrong either....If u read what i wrote there...i said his school will give him requirements for his admission. so he will definitely know which exam to take...i was only giving instances ok.

I was only giving him examples of their recognized exams. His school requirements will tell him which of them to write. Besides if you do GRE/GMAT and pass very well dont you think the VO would be impressed that an Undergrad passed a graduate exam very well. He might just give him visa without asking any question again....You never can tell buddie.
