I'm married with 2 kids, a boy, and a girl but I trust my wife that is why I have never thought of anything like a DNA test, I didn't do the blood group of my kids to know if they carried my blood group because I know my wife will never bring another man's kids for me. My wife do tell me what's happening at her office, how some of her colleagues are dating their bosses in the office.

When I saw DNA trending on Twitter, I clicked on it where I read the sad news of Mr. Tunde Thomas who died after he discovered that the two kids he thought he was their biological father belong to his Wife's boss, Mr. Adam Nuru of FCMB Bank.

I couldn't sleep that night, I concluded that the next for me is to do the DNA test for my two kids to confirm that I'm their biological father.

Immediately my wife left Home today, thank God schools have closed till further notice, I took my kids to our family hospital to run a DNA test, and the Doctor told me the results will be ready tomorrow.


When my wife arrived this evening, I told her that, the DNA results of our kids will be ready tomorrow.

My wife told me that immediately I bring the results home tomorrow and the results confirmed that I'm their biological father, she will leave my house immediately.

Please, Should I tell her I'm just joking or wait for the DNA result?

As the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it. You should have left it alone , it's obvious you have trust issues and you have created a problem when there wasn't one.

How do I vilify a man who is guided by the doctrine of social justice? Ayo Fayose who literally wish Buhari death was recently paid a whopping sum of N11 billion as refund of money spent by Fayose to rehabilitate FG roads in Ekiti.

A vain and petty man would have denied Fayose any benefits from the federal government but not Buhari. Obasanjo denied Tinubu his constitutionally permitted allocations to Lagos same way Timipreye Silva was booted out of office for daring Jonathan. Muhammadu Buhari like a father he is has remained like a dumpsite where all refuse are heaped on. And with measured equanimity, he accepts the shenanigans of everyone. In fact, a serving minister openly kicked against his re-election, yet she still remains in his cabinet. Who tolerate such affront if not a Buhari?

He is being accused of obstinate dogmatism, some said he is insensitive and a religious bigot and ethnic jingoist, yet he remains stoic without pandering to the expectation of the naysayers. Never for once has this man spoke from the mosque, yet we call him an Islamic 'agendaist'. We remember how GEJ used every church podium to address the nation, yet he wasn't accused of christianizing the nation. For Buhari, it is always a forced ascription.

We accuse the man of populating the nation's security architecture with only northerners but praise the western domination of our economic team.

We accuse the man of nepotism yet non of his children are holding any position. What exactly is the fault of this man? Beyond the blanket generalization of he has failed, can you in specifics, list out his area of failure?

You have a president without an oil well, no private jet and ownership of shares in our national asset yet you vilify him? Do you prefer a man who left the prison with barely 20k but now rich if not richer than Nigeria?

You can accuse president Muhammadu Buhari of slow decision taking effort certainly not of unfair dispensation of the nation's resources. He is too guided by conscience to treat Nigerians in unequaled template. The man has nothing to gain by changing from a good man to a bad man in his 70s.

Let not our personal biases and prejudices push us to vilify an innocent man who is doing everything possible to right the wrong of governance.

Its true that when people try to speak with a different accent than what they're used to it really doesn't sound good but calling it phonetics is really ignorant .Phonetics is the study of human sounds made by speech. I cringe when I hear people refer to a foreign accent as phonetics or 'phonay' for short . Thats the attitude that has put us in a mess!

One of my colleagues at work told me how her father who was a senior police officer and had a black belt in martial arts would come to the school and beat up any teacher who laid a hand on any of them. She told me how one of the teachers slapped her brother and the next day their father went to the school to beat the teacher . When he got there the teacher was upstairs ,he went upstairs beat the teacher and grabbed him by the collar and dangled him over the railing and shouted 'what if I drop you now"!

The abuse of power that's all too common in nigeria starts in school with the whole junior student senior student scenario where it is generally accepted that the junior is subservient to the senior and has no rights as a human being .

I am disappointed though not surprised that none of the people who responded to this story know anything . Its quite unfortunate how clueless you all are about central and northern nigeria. You ignorantly believe the north is an islamic enclave full of religious extremists but the truth is not everyone there is an extremist .....not everyone is even a muslim. The man who made this appeal is a christian clergyman and there were no muslim clerics involved ....the headline of the story is also misleading ....some of you even called him a religious fanatic begging on behalf of muslims. Thinking about it, no current state governor is merely a dollar millionaire. They are all at least multi millionaires. I believe that, on average, there are at least 100 beneficiaries of state government in each of Nigeria's 36 states that are dollar millionaires. The complex circle of kitchen cabinet members, trusted contractors, agents, proxies, , money launderers, top mistresses etc... There has to be at least 100 in each state feasting purely on the state government resources that are each worth at least a million dollars.... In some states such as Lagos we are talking of multiple hundreds. So, for the state government related millionaires alone, we're talking about 3,600 of them.

I know for sure that this 9100 estimate is a ridiculous underestimation. Yahoo boys that are worth at least a million dollars in Nigeria are in their thousands. Drug Lords worth at least a million dollars are in their thousands. Other deals men and racketeers worth at least a million dollars are in their thousands....

Then before you come down to corrupt executives in numerous big private organisations and banks, then before you come down to uncountable federal civil servants in positions to steal or have stolen more than a million dollars.........we are talking about multiple hundreds of federal government agencies with yearly budgets of multiple millions of dollars, the CEO/MD/head of each of which is certainly a dollar millionaire. Before you trickle down to the federal civil service proper with its directors and top staff and their allies and money launderers.

Then before you come down to the numerous 'legit' big time traders/merchants in the various big markets from Alaba to Idumota to Main Market Onitsha to Dei Dei Building Materials Market etc etc across Nigeria's big cities.. .

How did you come up with 300,000? Anywhere you go in the world,a very small percent of the population is rich. The difference is that in developed countries the middle class are very comfortable and live like the rich here. Lets not deceive ourselves ,we are the poverty capital of the world !

Selectively picking stats as usual to paint a false picture and please this failure of a government.

India also has a mammoth GDP (almost equal with that of Japan and Germany) but that's just because it's a highly populated country. We all agree that the quality of life in India is nowhere near that of the Japan or Germany.

Ekiti has a GDP of $2.8 billion and a population of about 2 million people. That's a GDP per capita of $1,000.

Seychelles has a GDP of $1.1 billion but a population of over 100,000. That's a GDP per capita of $11,000.

Clearly, the seycheless economy is almost 11x more efficient than Ekiti State. Ekiti state has no viable means of generating income, except for its schools. EKSU students pay as high as 100k for acceptance fee in the state university.

Seychelles is a tourist and agro-based economy, it is one of the most (if not the most) attractive places to visit and live in Africa. Nothing of that sort can be said for Ekiti. No production. Just spending and vibes.

A more effective measure of any economy is GDP per capita (per person). But as usual these dark souls cherry pick stats to paint a false image. I spit on this government based purely on lies.

The stats the VP referred to places more populated countries higher up the ladder but in reality its not a reflection of how the people are living . What matters is the Gdp per capita PPP (purchasing power parity ) which reflects the income of the average household in a country . In 2020 nigerias PPP was $5000. Seychelles was $24,361. Almost 5 times that of nigeria. The VP should have kept seychelles out of his mouth !

This may be the law but that's not what happens . These laws are very loose with many loopholes that can be exploited .Next of kin means nothing when there's a will but in the absence of a will I don't see it going any other way. I have personally lost a sibling who was divorced and named me as next of kin and no one ,be it the pension managers or family members have raised any objection about giving me the money .

He should still pay rent even if she owns the house but why hide it? It's not the money or the house ,its the principle .If he finds out there'll be no more trust. If your son didn't tell her it was okay there's no way she'd keep coming to your house . Try and find out more about her instead of judging her so hastily . The fact that she's with your son who is unemployed and has no money to give her says there may be some good in her. Women don't usually date down the financial ladder they go up so if you find one who's employed but is willing to be with a man thats unemployed look closely before you judge her because she might be a keeper .

There's nothing worse than being with someone who doesn't love you whether you're a man or woman .It may hurt but your wounds will heal.
