Godogwu: Smh, i''m sure your one of these very unprivelaged people in diaspora who probably sold everything they owned just to buy a one way ticket to one of them western countries and your probably living a life of slavery making 10 bucks an hour #Sas., keep living in a place where your not a major factor and i'm sure you probably feel your better than us who live in Africa. Then again, there's no sand on the roads in US, or Europe?......are you that stupid?
Yeah, thats like N1600 per hour. You know, i know and we both know that you will never make that much in your life as long as you live in Nigeria, i dont care how educated you are. Niqqah, dont knock our hustle.

kids need to be in bed at 8pm. get a nanny or sitter to stay with them at home.

well, RIP.
Ije ewere.
I agree. They should only be taken to American parties where they can learn how to dress like Batmans and kill people who disagree with them.

@^^ If you are a true "democrat", nothing should be off limit for discussion or "sacred". if any group want to breakaway or secede so be it. What is so special or exceptional about anyone wanting to discuss secession or union?. The most important issue is "let's talk" or have a conversation. We should not preclude anything at all, otherwise it defeats the purpose of a true honest conversation for national unity, progress or otherwise if we so wish. Nothing should be held sacred to talk about.
Is that not what the National Assembly is for?

And also which sovereign states are going to be conferencing with each other?

Nigerians like to fool themselves a lot. Instead of facing reality and working on ways to make the current project work, they are all clamoring for SNC. It seems like calling for SNC has become a mark of intelligence and progressivesness in present day Nigeria. Even Aregbesola wey no pass English for WAEC is calling for SNC. The point is that SNC will not solve our problems, and then what next? Sovereign Sovereign National Conference (SSNC)?

You agree with everything he said? Hmm, how many 'Greeces' do we have in Africa? Many How many 'Italos'? Many How many 'Germanys?' Nada If Kasala burst, you want shytholes like Gambia and Congo dragging the rest of us down with them abi. I reject it in Jesus name.

SO you want Nigeria and Somalia together in a unified country? SA and Rwanda in a unified country? Thank God there isnt too many of people like you in power. . .

I think you need to change your attitude if you want our slave masters money. They are very nice if you can just suck up to them a little.

ROSSIKE: I'm not selling any idea. If you still need convincing of African dynamism after seeing the images of infrastructure posted then you have a special sickness. It's not my duty to cure you. It is those who come in here with THEIR animosity towards Africa that I have no time for. These are people ready to believe the very worst about their fatherland, but the minute they see something positive, they want to run it down, because it conflicts with their Pavlovian, colonised mindset of ''Africa is bad'', ''nothing good can come from Africa''. I'm not here to be 'nice' to such people, or to 'reason' with them. Such people DISGUST me.
How is it Pavlovian when you've lived through it and you know the pictures dont represent reality? How is it Pavlovian when we know that those pictures are a product of your imagination and terrible photo-shopping skills. Do you even know the concepts behind Pavlov's classical conditioning theory? I mean you want us to fawn over pictures that you created and recreated on your laptop (invented by our slave masters) to soothe your bruised ago, after you were deported from London. Pictures that at best only represent just 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of a landscape littered with diseases, backwardness, anger, unprovoked violence, primitiveness, 'untarred' road, potholes, corruption, bad maintenance/non-maintenance culture and a host of other societal ills that are too gory to print.

This thread is for those people like that Asian guy who thanked me for showcasing this side of Africa which he's never seen before, and the other Nigerian brother who said that this thread had encouraged him to visit some of these countries for holidays rather than the UK etc etc - people like that who harbour no hang-ups or pre-conceived notions, but only want to learn: that's whom this thread is for. The rest can literally kisss my assss.
So you are just like the rest of us, very eager to impress and earn the affection and confidence of our masters, dem Chinkos and Caucasians. Well, it seems we have a lot in common . . . inferiority complex, colonial mindset etc grin

texazzpete: Why would a family take minors to a party that ended in the early hours of the morning? Why was the driver speeding? Why were the passengers not wearing seatbelts?

Very avoidable deaths...

No. Common sense and regard for safety went to sleep on them.
What? They should have left them home and let them dehydrate and starve to death? Is that how you treat your children? Should we be worried about your parenting skills? I hope you never have children because you "is" scaring the shyt out of me. So when you go to parties, you stuff your minors in your dish washer and then take off? or You just stop living life because you have kids to look after?

Anyway, how anyone chooses to run their household is no one's business. And talking about speeding, let he who has never been cited for speeding cast the first stone.

ogugua88: Unlucky? Speeding is unluck? Running multiple red lights is unluck? Not wearing seatbelts in 2012 is unluck? This has nothing to do with unluck and everything to do with very poor decision making. Don't make excuses for them. There is no reason people should not be wearing seltbelts, especially here in the United States, where it's illegal in most, if not all states. Most especially with children in the car. So add recklessness to poor decision making. Imagine if such took place in Nigeria. There would be no survivors.

Dear Joblessness

You win, I can't take it any longer, and I know you have been waiting for this to happen. I hope it makes you very happy, this is not an easy thing to do, but I've got to the point where there is nothing to live for, graduated for 3 years and still no job, no love. All will and determination to fight on has left me. I feel calm and at peace and grateful that I can go to sleep painlessly. I feel justified in terminating a life which no longer holds any hope of having the essentials which make it worth living. I did desperately want to get a good job, have a beautiful wife, bring forth wonderful kids and love mankind. But now, I am defeated and exhausted emotionally by the situation of my Country, Nigeri

To my Unborn child: My love for you would have had no limits, I grief that I could not meet you but try to understand that your birth would have made my life worse, life is too corrupt, seeing vision of a broken man. So, with my passing, all menace to your well-being has disappeared. Forgive me for the many mistakes I have made. Now that it is all said I feel at peace.

To my friends: Try not to grieve. I ask all of you, my dear ones, not to mourn my passing. Be glad I am at least free from the misery of the joblessness and intimidation and oppression. I have endured for so long and that at last I'll have peace and rest...This is no way to live either is it any way to die. I'm going to put myself to sleep now for a bit longer than usual. Call the time eternity.

Goodbye, cruel world

Goodbye, God forsaken Nigeria

Goodbye, cruel destiny

You won.

I pray the Lord my soul to take. Amen. cry cry cry
OP: why are you being dishonest. You cant even plagiarize right. You copied your stupid suicide note from here. There is no way a Nigerian educated college graduate can write this well. No. Never. Next time, always include your source(s). Suicide note ko, suicide note ni.

What about the Irish and the Russians?

I was a palm-wine drinkard since I was a boy of ten years of age. I had no other work more than to drink palm-wine in my life. - - - But when my father noticed that I could not do any work more than to drink, he engaged an expert palm-wine-tapster for me; he had no other work more than to tap palm-wine every day. So my father gave me a palm-tree farm which was nine miles square and it contained 560,000 palm-trees, and this palm-wine tapster was tapping one hundred and fifty kegs of palm-wine every morning, but before 2 o’clock p.m., I would have drunk it all; after that he would go and tap another 75 kegs.

ROSSIKE: Surely, investment and tourism would flow in greater number to these countries if the world knew the continent had this level of development? But when you go overseas, all most people know about Africa is... villages, animals, Masai tribesmen, conflict, poverty etc etc.

Don't we need to invest heavily in our own global media apparatus in order to disseminate the full picture of our rapidly developing continent?

I posted these images on a couple of non-African sites, and most people reacted with shock and disbelief, with many openly stating that they never thought any of this existed in Africa.

THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE.

I reckon that if the world knew the full picture of Africa, tourism alone into the continent would increase by at least 2,000%, greatly helping to lift the incomes of the majority. The great thing about tourism receipts is that the money goes straight into the pockets of the common man, by way of greater patronage of eateries, craft shops, various services, from taxi to all sorts of retail and leisure services.
Because that Africa is not real. it only exists in your imagination. You are psychotic and you dont know it. Seek help!

Maybe the name means something in his language, (it means "to give" in mine), if so ride on. Fujitsu is not the most welcoming name, and Asus just plain sounds local, but it hasn't stopped those brands from going global.
Meaning Nigerians are dumb and lazy?

We cant even be competitive with China?

We are not talking of a highly educated work-force here, that needs to be well maintained? No retirement benefits. No sick pay. No vacation pay. No retirement fund. No minimum wage; as a matter of fact you can afford to not pay Nigerian workers for 6 months and still have them arrested if they dont show up for work. No legacy cost ( This is what killed GM). Humongous tax breaks; MTN didnt pay any tax in their first ten years of operation. Very low electricity cost; in fact, if they dont pay for power, like many Nigerians do, no one will say anything and life goes on. Huge unemployment; meaning, there is ready made college educated manpower ready and willing to do anything, for chicken change.

And in spite of all these advantages that we have over other well regulated but low paying economies, we still cant compete with China? There is no hope then. We might as well lie down and wait for asteroid Apophis to kill us all.
