Oh Kinkie... And I used to think this Kinkie was Booqee o.. Cos I remember the thread you created on having cramps in early pregnancy after sex. I advised you on your thread and directed you to this thread and I'm yet to receive my "thank you" for it.

Almost immediately after I directed you here, Booqee came in and complained of same cramping during sex. So I thought it was you who used another moniker to register here. Thank God I restrained myself from asking Booqee for my thank you for introducing her here.

So you just silently come to read other mamas experiences and learn, while asking others to be silent. Shebi it's the questions and "rants" that make other mamas input what you learn? If everyone kept silent like you, who would teach who?

You are not here to identify with any team. Who offend you before? Who vex you? Abi you don't know teaming up makes the thread more fun? And gives you a sense of belonging? 1. can yam cause heartburn, can palm oil also cause heartburn.
2. what are the side effect of using mist mag to cure heartburn? does it induce vomiting, make u tired etc?
3. Does iron drug cause an increased pregnancy symptom especially messing ur stomach up and making u throw up, when you have passed the vomiting stage. i use to use iron, but i stopped a month ago, cos i misplaced it within the house, i just found where i kept it few days ago, and I have resumed its use.. could it be the cause?
4. Why are my lips always cracked and dry? i've increased water intake to a little extent.

Apologies for all the questions, but I would appreciate a response (i'm 14 weeks).

1. Yam causes me heartburn. Infact, in pregnancy almost all foods cause me heartburn. Pregnancy and heartburn are usually like 5&6
2. Sorry, I don't use mist mag so I don't know. I just manage it and if unbearable, I take a spoonful of milk powder. It usually subsides after a while. Eating peppery stuff could make it worse.
3. Don't know. I stopped taking my iron tabs months ago tho for different reasons from yours. I sha supplement with foods rich in iron.
4. My lips are always cracked and dry too. Dunno if it's about the weather tho or preggy induced. Just try to keep it moisturised all the time.

Mamas pls y can't some people mind their own business biko? A lady came to collect bark of a tree in my compound and saw d baby Cardigans I washed and spread(mind u I spread it inside our 2nd flat o) only for her to start asking BIL wot is d name of our baby, my BIL told her wen its time for naming ceremony we go call her so make she no worry o. Then I went to retouch my hair and saw dis witchy witchy lady and I decided to gist my house fellowship leader abt wot happen, only for one of my church member to start rushing to my place with her buluku gown(she even forgot to wear tight under) saw me where I was making my hair and told me her son said its like I don born o(d boy was in d shop wen we were talking and misunderstood me)I just told her by God grace it will soon happen and its going to be a testimony. I tire for all dis monitoring spirits o.

Reminds me of one of my nosy aproko neighbor. She can like to put her ears on her wall to hear what others are saying in their own house. Chai! Hubby banned me from speaking English with him at home because of her.

Just the other day, a friend called me to tell me she had put to bed. She then asked me whether I never born. So I answered her jokingly that I've given birth oo. I never knew this my aproko neighbor was paying attention.
After about 30 minutes she came to knock on my door. Normally, we don't do visits or casual neighbors' call, except for some important reasons.

So when I came out, I guess she was thrown off balance. No be wetin she expect she see She was now confused on what to tell me brought her to my house. She was now smart enough to tell me that she just came to check on me since I told her I was not feeling fine the other day.

She now turned Mother Adviser, advising me not to lock up myself indoors but to always come out and exercise, that that's what is making me ill. I sha told her I've heard. We both know what brought her was entirely different. Till today, she never near my doorstep. Guess she's still feeling embarrassed after rushing to my house with all enthusiasm

About the itching thing, make me sef follow chook mouth.
Around 6 to 7 weeks or so, I noticed that itching, but mine came with some cramps sha. I went to the hospital and doc ran some tests and pregnancy-related UTI was diagnosed. Doc said could cause MC.

He sha prescribed one safe antibiotic med and another antifungal one to be inserted for 6 days. Na so the itching take stop sha.

So it wouldn't be a bad idea to visit the hospital @ booqee. Not to scare you though, but just to make sure everything is OK.

Have always been in the peepers club but decided to register today. Ttced for 9 years, 2 failed ivfs  and at d 3rd the Almighty answered our prayers( e still dey do me like dream). Alhamdulillah for everything so far Edd is 30th November In Shaa Allah . Sex is XY sorry for coming in late.

Prepare the kunu by yourself. Try kunu Aya(Tiger nut and coconut) but don't use dabino.

So kunu aya is ok right? Thank God o DH got a woman to make 10 litres of it for us cos I don't know how to make it. I was scared of asking whether it's ok for me to take it now (was thinking it's also used to induce labor ) incase mamas will say I shouldn't take it cos it's so irresistible.
