My wonderful teamies, how una dey? Anyone found out LO's gender yet? We could update if you have. How's second trimester treating us?
As for me, I'm yet to resume work since I took a sick leave last month
I feel much better now though, just this nagging headache after small stress. I'm afraid of resuming work as a teacher. How will I be able to cope in a government school?
My colleagues still think I'm very down. I just need to gather morale and resume. I've rested pretty much.

Welcome to our Josephine world. Infact weird stupid dreams was one of the signs that made me know i was pregnant. Recently i had a dream and was arguing with the pastor. The pastor said i must have twins i told him I've done scan it's just one, i had to accept it in d dream before it turned another thing. Who knows if dazzle 86 prophecy is coming to pass.

The other night, I dreamt some people organized 'Best Mother Competition' (any thing like that? ). I was still pregnant and really wanted to participate. I just wanted my baby to pop out so I can also compete for best mother (imagine o ).

Then another one, I dreamt my mum gave birth almost same time as me and my mama don pass childbearing age o

Am I the only one who keeps having all these weird dreams? On an almost every day basis

Last night, I dreamt that I gave birth to twins, two cute girls though I want a boy. I started breastfeeding them immediately, and my boobies was rushing like tap
I was now saying, "Ah, thank God o, some mamas have difficulty producing milk almost immediately, and see me here rushing o That means, I can do my EBF as planned... But one hitch. There are two girls. Can I exclusively breastfeed twins?"

The funny thing was, the more I kept breastfeeding, the more the babies kept increasing in size almost instantly
I could even begin to go out with them almost immediately

Abeg what does this dream mean o abi na hyperactive mind dey cause am?

Skimmed milk has more calcium than full cream but in total, full cream has more vitamins /nutrients.

Anugod and Pweetiebabe, your Drs should up your calcium dosage. The one in your prenatals might not be enough. Also increase your intake of milk and calcium rich foods.

Oooh, thanks ma'am. I suspected same too. Last night, I took tea with plenty extra milk, and when I woke up this morning, the pain had reduced, much more than before. Thanks again ma.

Please, does skimmed milk contain as much calcium as full cream milk? I had actually reduced my intake of milk to avoid too much fat. Can I use skimmed milk instead or I should just continue with the full cream milk?

I have experience as ur wen I sit or sleep on hard surface (especially tiles) to stand up na serious pain and its always on my right hand side ,may na part of d package..... Happy Sunday mamas. Please Sabi mamas, help my solution oo

Whenever I sit down or lie down for some long time, I experience stiffness and pains in my feet when I try to stand up. It has been on for a while now, about a week or so. I didn't think much about it but it has refused to go. Just yesterday, I sat on the bare tiles and I started feeling pains inside my bumbum bones. I had to use a pillow to support my bumbum.

Please Sabi mamas, what could be wrong? What do I need to do? I'm hoping it's not some kind of nutrient deficiency affecting my bones
The pains are usually worse in the mornings when I get up from bed


Please mamas, don't waka pass o. I'm almost 17 weeks gone.

Oh thanks. The pain was horror lol. I had to have emergency scan cuz they wanted to rule out ectopic at 11 weeks. I have been good for two weeks now but since yesterday I have been kinda feeling it on and off, I am paying no mind to it jare lol. I was prescribed iron tablet so that's what I'm taking now. It will all end in praise.

I was shocked at my 1st appointment with the doctor when he didn't even mention routine drug. So what if am a first time mum? That's how I won't know what routine drugs are. From then, I learnt to ask questions. It is well

Hmmm, it is well o. Although, today being our first ANC, we had to pay for delivery pack, which they gave to us at the end of the class. I guess this should be the 'hospital list'. Just wondering if they'll still give us any other list of things to buy...

I also reacted to it in the early stage of my pregnancy that I stopped taking it and started taking only folic acid. During my first ANC, I asked the doctor to prescribe another blood tonic, but he said I should continue with the ferrous. That it wasn't the reason I had those terrible symptoms. I yielded and it's been good since then.

@ bolded, if you use general, you will be the one to be asking all these questions o. Don't expect them to talk about it unlike private where they will give you the routine drugs every ANC.

Oh really? Thanks o, thought I was alone. My fears were heightened when a family friend doc told me not to take it, that it makes babies to be extra large. I will ask again.

And yes, I just got registered at a general hospital. Earlier on when I had issues in the pregnancy, I used a private, and they made me know all I should. I just didn't want to register there cos I felt I would meet more specialists in the general hospital. So I have to be asking all the questions? Ok na.

I am finally in the second trimester, 14w 1day today and want to thank God for making it this far. I have not had any MS or any weird cravings, apart from the on and off pain I get on my left side as I was diagnosed of fibroid , it's been smooth and sometimes I wonder if everything is ok there lol. I pray it continues this way, find out gender next month, already getting impatient

I read your post about the fibroid and I really wanted to reply but for my phone ish. Teamie, I had the same issue with you o, fibroid at 12 weeks scan Mine was even two The pain was hellish

They told me it would last till around 20 weeks. Pain didn't reach a week. I refused to use the drugs prescribed for me cos doc said it was risky at my stage and could only be used if I could no longer bear the pain.

I noticed the pain stayed when I used fesolate with my routine drugs, but when I exempted it, the pains would disappear. So I stopped taking it and we're doing good. I try to supplement with foods rich in iron though.

May God keep us through till the end and give us all testimonies.

How far? Shey you no go be our cappo?

Folic acid is good but i dont kn if you've heard about PRONATAL. Its very very good. Cus it has all d essential vitamins,nutrients,etc. Dats wat ive bn using since my first belle. U can use it before/during/after pregnancy. But u wont b needing d folic acid cus its already in it. Its abt #3000. U can try it and see if not continue wit yr folic acid.
