Dede1: I am in support of any revolution that leads to the disintegration of Nigeria. Anything short of disintegration is a complete waste of time and human endeavor.
YOU ARE USELESS.

IT'S OBVIOUS YOU WERE NOT TAUGHT ANYTHING ABOUT GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATIONS,OR HISTORY.

YOU WANT A COUNTRY THAT PROBABLY HAS THE 2ND OR 3RD OLDEST HISTORY IN AFRICA AFTER THE EGYPTIANS(NUBIAN'S) TO JUST SPLIT UP LIKE THAT huh huh huh

AND TO MAKE THINGS WORSE YOUR BASING YOUR COMMENT ON AN AFRICAN COUNTRY.LISTEN,AFRICA WAS MADE BY A BUNCH OF WHITE EUROPEAN BUFFOONS(IN BERLIN,GERMANY) DRAWING ON THE MAP DECIDED WHICH PART THERE GOING TAKE OVER.

FOR ME I PERSONALLY FELL NIGERIA SHOULD HAVE MORE LAND COMING FROM BENIN,NIGER AND THE CAMEROON.

IF IT WERE NOT, THAT I CANT BE BOTHERED TO LIKE MY COUNTRY I WOULD HAVE DISINTERESTED YOU.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria's 'Wealth' Is Over-rated by anulaxad(m): 9:47am On Jan 13, 2013
omosexy1: I don't see how your comment on corruption is reflected on wealth generation for the country. Corruption does not stop the country from generating revenue. However, corruption can impede development. Especially when the money, supposed to be used for infrastructural development are diverted to personal coffers.
THAT IS WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY.

NIGERIA IS EXTREMELY RICH.AND THEN SOMEONE IS SAYING OVERRATED. IF YOUR'E OWN CORRUPT NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT IS SAYING NIGERIA IS RICH.
HOW MUCH RICHER DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK NIGERIA CAN BE IF ACTUALLY RECESSED THE RIGHT WAY.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria's 'Wealth' Is Over-rated by anulaxad(m): 4:43pm On Jan 12, 2013
modicum: Oil is the mainstay of Nigeria's economy. It accounts for over 90% of the nation's source of income.
grin Who told you that the same corrupt government.

NIGERIANS ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE I KNOW THAT DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE HOW EXTREMELY RICH THERE COUNTRY IS.

THIS IS A COUNTRY THAT CAN MAKE UP TO 4 BILLION POUNDS IN A WEEK IF THE CORRUPTION WAS LOWERED BY JUST 30 PERCENT.

A COUNTRY THAT MAKES NEARLY 150 BILLION POUNDS A YEAR(EXCLUDING THE AMOUNT THAT IS BEING STOLEN BY THE GOVERNMENT).

OVERRATED grin grin.I DON'T BLAME YOU,IT IS THAT STUUUUPID NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT THAT DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT IT'S PEOPLE THAT IS NOW ACTUALLY MAKE SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF THINK MAYBE NIGERIA IS NOT AS WEALTHY AS THE CORRUPT GOVERNMENT CLAIM.

NO BUT SERIOUSLY,YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE WEST AFRICAN STATE,THAT IMPACTED EUROPE THE MOST WHEN IT WAS GIVEN INDEPENDENCE.

I MEAN HOW LONG HAS THIS COUNTRY HAD IT'S WEALTH.OVER FIFTY YEARS.BY THE TIME I EVEN HIT FIFTY THEY WILL PROBABLY STILL BE OIL.

SHUFFERING AND SMILING.SANG BY FELA KUTI. I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY ON THIS ISSUE BUT LET ME KEEP MY DIGNITY BEFORE I EXPLODE WITH ANGER. embarassed

Ujawissy: I understant wat u are trying to say anuxalad but can u compare venezuela with contries like America and China who were once corrupt but were able to abberate it. i want to put it to u that if development can strife in d face corruption then wat is holding us? Corruption is just like a habit once one is corrupt there won't let go suppose money for infrastructures. Pls get it right we have against dis ugly monster called CORRUPTION.
Yes of course I can.
Venezuela is a fast developing country.

What's holding us back is bad leadership.
no more to it.

Once corrupt please, the same china that the people don't have power to choose there own government, the same america that's trying to bring the wiki leaks founder down by claiming all sorts of bull because his revealing all there dirty secrets.

Even the UK where I live is fuuucking corrupt. But they choose to invest infrastructure so there won't be any complaining that there is bad governance,
and trust me I shall know because of the job I consist with.

IBB WAS CORRUPT RIGHT?

BUT DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HE DID FOR NIGERIA.HE DID NOT ONLY BUILD MOST OF THE STABLE INFRASTRUCTURE WE HAVE TO TODAY BUT HE TOLD NIGERIA,THAT INVESTMENT IN INFRASTRUCTURE CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING.

Hardfact: Do you mind sharing his views. What kind of expectations/predictions, being curious?
ME AND MY FATHER ARE BORN IN ENGLAND.BUT MY FATHER HAS RETIRED WITH MY MUM IN NIGERIA, ONCE I WAS OLD ENOUGH TO LIVE BY MYSELF.

ANYWAY I WENT TO GO VISIT THEM ON THE WEEKEND FOR TWO DAYS IN ABEOKUTA. ANY SO I ASKED MY FATHER,WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE IN THE NEXT ELECTIONS.

HE LAUGHED AND SAID:WELL JONATHAN HAS ONLY GONE FOR HIS FIRST TERM,AND WE ALL KNOW HE IS GOING TO RUN FOR THE NEXT TERM,AND THAT PEOPLE SHOULD STOP DECEIVING THEMSELVES THAT,IT'S OBVIOUS HE IS GOING TO WIN THE NEXT TERM.AND HIM BEING ONE OF THE WISEST PEOPLE I KNOW,I TAKE EVERY SINGLE WORD SERIOUSLY.

KNOWING MY FATHER WHO'S NOT A STRONG CHRISTIAN,HE SAID SOMETHING TO ME THAT I AM STILL CURIOUS UNTIL TODAY.HE SAID ALL DOES LEADERS THAT SAY GOD'S NAME IN VAIN( THAT ARE DECEIVING US),THAT IT'S SAME GOD GOD THAT WILL PUNISH THEM VERY SOON.

HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY WAY TO GET INTO GOVERNANCE IS THROUGH WITCHCRAFT.AND HE SHALL KNOW BECAUSE HIS BEEN WORKING WITH THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT HIS WHOLE LIFE(NOT WHAT YOU THINK)HE WAS NOT IN THAT TYPE OF(WITCHCRAFT) GOVERNMENT.

HE TOLD ME THAT NIGERIA EVEN IN ONE HUNDRED YEARS WILL NEVER HAVE STABLE ELECTRICITY.UNTIL A VISIONARY PERSON BECOMES IN POWER.

Ujawissy: @ anulaxad how did u think investing in infrastructures can strife in the face of corruption?what we need nw is to erradicate corrupt practices
One country says it all: Venezuela.

tell me what you find when you research about this country. But let me give you a hint:ONE OF THE MOST CORRUPT COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD.
HOW? IT FOUND OIL BUT DOES THAT NECESSARILY MEAN IT'S GOING TO DISTURB THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY NO.

THEY WERE BLESSED WITH AN AMAZING LEADER HUGO CHAVEZ.

YOU MUST HAVE NOT THOUGHT THIS THROUGH WHEN YOU MADE THIS THREAD sad.

OUR WEALTH IS FUUUCKING UNDERRATED.

IS OIL THE ONLY THING WE PRODUCE.NO,WE PRODUCE GOLD,COAL,GAS,COPPER,AND OF COURSE SOLID MINERALS.

NIGERIA FOR ME SHOULD HAVE MORE MONEY THEN THE WHOLE ENTIRE OF EASTERN EUROPE IF ONLY THEY INVEST INFRASTRUCTURE AND REDUCE THE HIGH CORRUPTION.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Of Anambra State Is Working, At Least On Roads by anulaxad(m): 5:38pm On Jan 11, 2013
Onlytruth: It is good that when our leaders are working, we should say so and encourage them. I saw first hand that Anambra state roads are now mostly tarred. It was not like that in the last few years.
Admitted they are not marked, but they are tarred. Speaking of marking, I wonder how expensive it is to mark roads!! undecided
Nevertheless, I saw smooth roads running round remote parts of Anambra state. I can boldly state that by the time he leaves office next year, he will be leaving behind a state with high accessibility. I can now drive round Anambra state without worrying much about bad roads. The most notable bad roads in Anambra now are the federal roads -Onitsha/Enugu, and Oba/Okigwe.

Maybe our next governor will only be marking roads! lol grin

Kudos Obi!
That comment in bold shows you what you wrote was A LIE.. IT'S ONLY IN NIGERIA WHERE TARRED(ROADS)DEATH TRAPS ARE CALLED ROADS WHEN THEY ARE NOT EVEN MARKED.

SIMPLE PLASTIC MIXED PAINT IS ALL YOU NEED TO MARK A ROAD.

HOW ON EARTH IS IT EXPENSIVE TO MARK ROADS huh huh huh huh huh

WHEN YOU CAN BLOODY BUY A TIN OF PLASTIC PAINT FOR ONLY 10 POUND AT MOST.

THAT MAN, THE NIGER DELTA ACTIVIST LEADER. Mujahid Dokubo-Asari. This man is one of the very few reasons why I even feel for Nigerians.
When you hear this man talk, you shall not only want him to rule nigeria but your own life as well. He reminds me of MKO ABIOLA,extremely caring people.
