Business / Re: Buhari, Tinubu Took Nigeria’s Economy 18 Steps Backward In 9 Years - FIJ by aoshi: 10:29am On Apr 24
Faceonme1443:
Jonathan met 65 billion dollars in the foreign reserve and wasted over 35billion dollars out of it. Bihari Meet meagre 28 billion dollars. Buhari added around 5 billion dollars leaving 33 billion dollars in the reserve. Anytime You guys want to glorify Jonathan Administration, always remember that he wasted 35 billion dollars in less than 6 years. Jonathan Administration did not add one dollar to the foreign reserve.

Thank you for this. a lot of Nigerians in a bit to glorify someone, mess another big time. I'm not a supporter of both Government but, the facts should be laid bare totally.

“High oil prices had flattered Nigeria’s bleak economic picture for many years, and the end of the boom triggered a period of uncertainty as the crisis loomed. In fact, in a bid to curtail the damage, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) devalued the naira from ₦155/$1 to ₦168/$1, and subsequently to ₦199/$1, to no avail. The combination of the oil price slump and gross maladministration of previous regimes left the economy on tenterhooks by the time President Buhari took charge.
Science/Technology / Re: How To Fix PHED Prepaid Meter ‘rejected’ Error by aoshi: 12:07pm On Mar 31
argob44:
If you’re here because you’ve encountered a rejected error while trying to load a recharge token onto your PHED prepaid meter, you’re not alone. Many individuals are facing this issue currently, and I am here to help you resolve it step by step. In this blog post, I will walk you through the process of fixing the error and getting your meter up and running in no time.

Step 1: Access the PHED Token Self-Service Portal

The first step in resolving the rejected error on your PHED prepaid meter is to access the PHED Token Self-Service Portal. To do this, follow these instructions:

Visit the PHED Token Self-Service Portal by going to https://tid.phed.com.ng/.

Once on the portal, you will be prompted to enter your meter number in the designated field.

After entering your meter number, click on the ‘Search’ option to generate a TID Activation Token for your meter.

A TID Activation Token will be generated specifically for your meter, which is an essential component in resolving the error.

Step 2: Enter the Activation Tokens

Now that you have your TID Activation Token, you can proceed with entering them to rectify the rejected error. Follow these steps carefully:

Begin by entering the first activation token you received into the appropriate field.

Once you’ve entered the first activation token, press the ‘Enter’ key or the relevant button.

Next, enter the second activation token that was generated for your meter.

Press the ‘Enter’ key or the relevant button again.

As you complete these steps, you should notice a ‘Accepted’ notification appearing on the screen. This signifies that your activation tokens have been successfully entered and validated by the system.

Step 3: Load Your Recharge Token

With the ‘accepted’ notification displayed on your screen, you can now proceed to load your recharge token onto your PHED prepaid meter. This step is straightforward, and here’s how to do it:

Enter your recharge token in the provided space, typically a long sequence of alphanumeric characters.

Confirm the token you’ve entered to ensure it matches the one you received.

Finally, press ‘Enter’ or the designated button to load the recharge token onto your meter.

Congratulations, you’ve successfully resolved the rejected error on your PHED prepaid meter! By following these steps, you can quickly get your meter up and running, ensuring you have access to electricity without any further interruptions.

Remember that PHED may update its procedures and portal, so it’s essential to double-check the official website or contact their customer service for the most up-to-date information and support. I hope this post has been helpful in getting your electricity supply back on track.

Please leave a comment if you find this helpful.

See SOURCE for a pictural view on how to do this. https://www.asbnews.ng/2023/10/20/how-to-fix-phed-meter-rejected-error/
You are a life-saver. This worked for me. Thanks a lot.

All flagship Android phones are as expensive as iPhones. The reason why many focus on iPhones is that Apple doesn’t produce mid-range or low-range iPhones, unlike Samsung, Xiaomi, and others. For example, the Samsung S23 Ultra is slightly more expensive than the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Samsung, Google Pixel, LG, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Sony, and others have flagship phones that are often as expensive as iPhones, and sometimes even more so.

Zach Taylor you mean? Joe "smoking" Burrow is my QB and the reason i jumped from one AFC team to another. Been following him since his LSU national championship season. First overall pick in the 2020 draft and Heismann trophy winner. He's one of the top QBs rn, and we might make him the highest paid player.
My bad, i thought you were a Jets fan. I wonder where n how the jets came about in my head.
Burrows is d main G, calm n cool dude.
Burrows n Mahomes, who would you take? grin

Romance / Re: Please Help! Should I Attend The Wedding Or Not? by aoshi: 12:44pm On Jun 02, 2022
IamDora:
Dear Nairalanders, Good evening to you all. I'm in a state of delima right now and I'm so confused on what to do that's why I decided to bring the issue here.

I have a Cousin, he's wealthy and we used to be very close to each other, we do alot of things and talking together. Even when we do meet at Villa during festive periods, we are always together 24/7 that people do think I'm the one eating his money. (If cousins were to marry each other, we would've married ourselves)

So fast forward to 2020, things began to take a new turn, he began to change towards me completely, he hardly picks my calls, neither does he reach out to me thereafter to know why I called (Mind you, I'm not a leech to him, as my family were very comfortable too) When I lost my mom (May her soul rest in peace) this my said cousin never called me to sympathize with me, and I didn't hold it against him either. He started giving me space, I tried everything possible to know why the sudden space from him, but to no avail. So I kept my cool and distanced myself from him.

So fast forward to this 2022, his fiancee (Whom I knew her from him) called me on the 20th of last month to tell me that their wedding is on the 18th of this month and she would so much like me to be in attendance! My cousin never bothered informing me about it even till now!

Now my question is,' Should I honour the said invitation by his Fiancee and attend their wedding or I should stay back and call her to wish her Happy Married Life after their Wedding? embarassed

Please help me push this to front page so I'll get a wider audience to share their opinions.

Thank you.
Babe, i would advise you to attend the wedding, but do not be active. Make sure the couple notices (sights) you. I know why.
Please ignore people telling you not to attend. You were invited by the bride, disregard that it wasn't your cousin who did but honor the invite all thye same.
Remember, just attend and "show your face". Take a picture or two to regsiter your presence.
Finito, You did your part.

They want him to openly support what he doesn't believe in. His choice though he might have to face the "consequences" that would follow. They would come for him. Everyone must all think in one direction these days and yet they talk of diversity and inclusion.
