My brother, the 13% derivation given to Oil Producing States is shared according to the quantity of Oil gotten from the States. This is why the States do not get equal money. So, if a so-called Oil Producing State produced Zero Oil within the period, it will get Zero Naira from the 13% shared. This is also with NDDC, projects are shared based on Oil money gotten from each State.

I once worked in the Customer Service Unit of a Bank here in Naija. My duties then included Account Opening and documentation. When Marketers source for customers, they give the customers Account Opening Forms to fill. After filling the Forms, the Forms are passed unto Customer Service Unit for creating of the accounts on the computer system.

I noticed that about 95% of Men use their Wives as their Next of Kin, while less than 5% of Women use their Husbands as Next of Kin, the remaining of about 95% of Women use their children as their Next of Kin.

The above is not an exaggeration. After spending some years in the Customer Service Unit, I moved to the Information Technology department and to Database Unit. Because I was actually very worried about this Next of Kin issue, while in the Database Unit of the bank, I generated a report from the database of this statistics and I discovered that the percentage of Women that use their Husbands as Next of Kin was less than 0.5%.
