That list does not include Victoria Island of Lagos and Wuse of Abuja. It also has Banana Island as the most expensive. Many people in the industry will beg to differ. Its just a list made to wow Nairalanders.

Hold it right there mister! Batman isn't as skillful like captain u know why? Cos batman is human with no extra serum or add advantage. He's just an intelligent guy trying to do right by wearing a cape and jumping on rooftops which is deadly cos one day he might miss a step and die!

what's ur own definition of a dialogue?
It is the conversation between characters in a show or between the character and the audience (as in fourth wall moments)
You make it sound like dialogue itself is a subjective thing. It is in assessing the dialogue that it becomes subjective.

The kind of dialogue in a show determines the show's caliber. I usually enjoy shows where the dialogue is intelligent and witty. Slap stick comedy and dumbed down lines are a major turn of for me.

Daredevil, currently on episode 6. Really struggling to finish it. Fight scenes ok, plot quite thin and not very cerebral.

FamilyRe: Should A Man Take A Second Wife If The First Is Infertile??? by ApexTitan(m): 7:00am On May 03, 2015
If the primary aim for entering into the marriage was to raise children and it has been proven that the wife is unable to have any then the man may well marry another wife. This position presupposes that both parties are comfortable with polygamy.

erm... excuse me "provide for her and HER kids" wth! na immaculate conception. Nigerian mentality! Choi!
Nothing like Nigerian mentality here, that is the basic premise on which marriages are founded. The expectation is that the man provides for the woman in exchange for sex. it's been like this almost from time immemorial.

Bluntly stated like that it will offend those who aspire to more in marriage but this fact cannot be denied.

My dear, after reading all this, I will like to marry you in order to show you how caring and sweet we Nigerian men handle our women, but am sorry if you are not a virgin because you will miss this opportunity.
Lol! You are falling for her trick, the end game for these women is that the man lives his life in servitude to the women. Under the guise of wanting you to be a "sweet guy" they expect that you exist only to do their bidding.

We know ourselves, we know we are not all savages as these women claim. Women in almost every country use these kinds of mind games on their men.

As a true Nigerian man continue to pursue your dreams, aim for higher achievements, and always strive to improve yourself everyday. The woman should not be the focus of your life, she should only compliment it. Do not waste your time trying to prove to her that you are sweet, caring and romantic. On the contrary it is when you shift your gaze from her and focus on something higher and nobler, that's when she will come running after you. If she doesn't come it's her loss, other women full ground.

Evolving culture that also pushes you to a corner that directs that thin women are the true example of a beautiful woman.
When culture synchronises with the Natural order then we will all rejoice evermore, but as it is, it is still a way off. The process of evolution continues. That said, anorexia or overly thin women are just as undesirable as overweight women and thankfully people who subscribe to this concept of beauty are in the minority. What is really sought after between the extremes that anorexia and obesity represent lies in the middle, that healthy lean woman who is fat in all the right places. wink

I still think that the Efik man in my previous post is happy that that part of his culture is past.

FamilyRe: Reasons Why You Should Not Get Married To A Nigerian Man by ApexTitan(m): 5:12pm On May 02, 2015
It is only coincidental that some of what women do to hold the attraction of men aligns with the dictates of healthy living. Males are drawn to fertile, healthy disease free females, it is such a female that ensures the best chances of survival of his offspings. At the heart of it all one cannot divorce the desire for man's attention from all of the activities that women engage in to keep herself in shape/look good.

I'm not mad uncle. The Nigerian man is no 'prized commodity'.
You think so? The vast majority of women will not agree with you because their very actions indicate that he is very much prized. Consider all the long hours women spend at the salon and beauty parlours trying to look beautiful just for him. They invest heavily in fashion, go on diets and work out in the gym so as to attract or retain his much sought after attention. Those who can afford will even subject themselves to the knives of plastic surgeons so with their bodies his attention will be theirs. cheesy I can list the very many things Nigerian women do just for the Nigerian man that suggest that he is prized...

Or... shocked ... are you saying its not the man himself these women are after but what he represents, what he can do for the woman that they seek after him so? ... Hmmm... You might be on to something, really.

wr0ng! How about the lives that were lost during the smallville and metropolis fight, the soldiers that died, dr emil hamilt0n (supes doct0r in the c0mics), the world engine destructi0n. In m0s u can feel a sense of danger, people valueing their lives and n0t throwing of 0ne liners or the villain joking when destroying things. The film felt rushed to me. The only sequence l liked was the hulk scene where he spat on the fl0or during his clash with t0ny. Funny, it was then that i kind of felt t0ny's danger but after t0ny defeated hulk, it l0st me.
I was referring specifically to the MoS movie, we saw a lot destruction and property damage but never any actual deaths. The deaths were only implied, never shown. But yeah I agree, DC movies are darker than Marvel's
CultureRe: The Fattening Rooms Of The Efik by ApexTitan(m): 12:24pm On May 02, 2015
Efik men probably had a fetish for BBW back in the days past. That fetish probably must have waned after the marriage aged and excitement of the wedding had waned. By then the realities of a fat wife would have started hitting home, the shortness of breath, the constant sweating(especially in those days without electricity or air conditioners) and the aura of unattractiveness that usually accompanies overweight people would have taken their toll the man's libido.

He must have compensated by over working his imagination, wondering what the supple women of other tribes must feel like, heck he must have considered the young maidens in his land, the ones who weren't eligible yet for the fattening rooms. Ah, to be with a woman whose weight didn't get in the way of the indulgence of this very primal urge... These thoughts must have crossed his mind. Alas he was stuck in a society that had directed that overweight women were desirable, how dare he break free. The women would not allow it, they had successfully turned a condition that ordinarily should have counted against them into an advantage - by being fat they (according to custom) still had some currency in the attraction marketplace. Afterall wasn't it the man that said he wanted big booty?

The Efik man of today must really be thankful for evolving customs. smiley

What isn't reasonable about the discussion? That we are criticizing the age of ultron for being what it is or what critics are saying? What's great about the movie if not for cap, hulk, iron man, thor, widow and so for meeting the second time? The film is good but not that good and unoriginal. if it was like the winter soldier i'll praise it but now its a mock up of the avengers, man of steel and transformers.
How could you miss the obvious spite in Raal's remark? Therein lay the unreasonableness that Moneyallowed was referring to.

not that the movie isn't good but its generic and things are over done. in the movie i didn't feel any sense of danger even when ultron is supposed to be dangerous. but for instance in man of steel, you felt supes weakness, and all and you felt people dying.
In MoS nobody died except Zod.
FamilyRe: Reasons Why You Should Not Get Married To A Nigerian Man by ApexTitan(m): 7:15am On May 02, 2015
The OP is being crafty. This topic with its click bait title is primarily aimed at generating traffic for her blog.

In dealing with women the key is to pay attention to what they do not what they say. While the OP is here listing reasons why members of her gender should stay clear of Nigerian men, dozens if not hundreds of women, despite countless warnings about how men are dogs etc, will be rushing to the altar to marry these men every Saturday.

Good, bad or evil, the fact remains that women need to get married to men. Especially Nigerian women. Marriage to a Nigerian man is the best chance for the average Nigerian woman to attain to that level of respectability that society, nay women themselves, have place on themselves. Through marriage she significantly increases her chances of living the "good life", the man is obligated to provide for her and her kids in exchange for sex or intimacy. For almost all women living in Nigeria their best options for marriage lie with the Nigerian man and despite all the campaign by people like the OP, he is a prized commodity.
All he needs is a bit of personal success or the appearance of it and women will be all over him like white on rice.

To this end, the winner of the said election told our correspondent that he has written a complaint to that effect through his lawyer while copying the commissioner of Police, Umuahia, the Director of SSS, INEC Chairman, Abuja, his party Chairmen both at Umuahia and Abuja respectively.
Why is the SSS usually brought in on matters like this? Is it not primarily an intelligence agency, what business does it have in election matters? The police and courts should be able to handle things like this on their own. The SSS should be gathering intelligence on nations or groups that have hostile designs on Nigeria not dragged into resolving election disputes.

Stop this deification of Buhari, what he needs is the truth and nothing else. All those people who refuse to see things as they really are, instead viewing from their APC vs PDP lenses are the ones doing the most disservice.

The mountain didn't kill all of Rhaegars Children, The babe whose head was smashed and laid at the feet of Robert by the Lannisters was exchanged by Varys at the last minute. That boy has grown under Lord Connigton and has taken Dragonstone, He is the one Prince Doran has been waiting for. Plus the wedding in the north didn't happen, even with the fake Stark girl. Theon and some servants still loyal ferried her away and during the chase met his sister Asha. Theon still has some sense left. Finally Euron Crows eye is a brother not a son of Balon. The show makes me sick.

Imagine walking down a street or alley, you see your homie and in greeting you say " Valar morghulis" in reply he says " Valar dohaeris". huh

That has to be the silliest or most awkward greeting ever especially the way it is used in the show, the kind that tempts me to slap whoever says it to me. I mean, what in the world? To my mind, all greetings should be a polite acknowledgement of meeting someone so someone basically telling me "all men must die" the first thing in the morning is downright weird. LOL The members of the House of Black & White are a real weird bunch.

The fact that he passed the infamous Decree 4 back in '84 is an indicator that he can't stand criticism and unflattering remarks. Even though him and his team will have us believe that he now a reformed democrat his recent action against AIT awoke concerns that the press/public criticism may be a serious issue for him to deal with.

Personally I don't see Buhari as the tolerant type, I will be amazed if after 4 years the press and social media don't suffer some type of restriction in this country as a result of his rule.

You make it sound as if by listing this country's challenges Buhari is doing something novel. Identifying challenges is nothing, all the past governments did that too. At this point Buhari should be educating Nigerians on the measures he will take in dealing with the challenges, and by this I mean the practical steps he plans to adopt, not all this rhetoric we hear in the press.
