Do something fast o cos the next thing we would hear is how u could not resist one of ur colleagues at work. If possible get angry with her about it so that she sees how big a deal it is. The question is, would she allow herself get fat at 29 if she was still single? undecided
Romance / Re: The Mindset Every Single Lady Should Have by Apina(m): 6:26pm On May 17, 2018
This issue has been overflogged. The reality is different, there are women who want to work but are not allowed to do so by their husbands and vice versa and it seems most persons are not taking this into account. The bottom line remains, every marriage is different in terms of whats involved and we should leave it at that.

If we lived in a society where thieves and fraudsters are not revered, and the "big boy" syndrome did not dominate then maybe things would be a lot more better.

The truth is, our image as a country has been mercilessly battered as a result of the actions of these internet fraudsters. Nigerians are seen as fraudsters generally. Its so bad that if you check Wikipedia under "internet scam", Nigerians are used not only in the definition but as the definition. Even in certain American movies, they feel it won't sound authentic if they don't use Nigeria as an example. Reminds me of "The Story of Jimmy Rebel", S03E04 of the Boondocks where Uncle Ruckus made a reference to Nigeria in his statement: "He caught the Nigerian monkey pox, as if the internet scams and underwear bombs were not enough."

For the fact that it's the truth about us, it should be taken as a call for moral ablution. To those who are sympathetic to crime/its proceeds, it doesn't pay. Do not be persuasively influenced by the spirit of success.
Abeg which seasin boondocks take end grin

But on a serious note, saying you have not set foot in Nigeria in 8 years does not hold water. If he finds himself in the news for whatever reason, he would be tagged a Nigerian national. He has always been evasive when the question of how he makes his money is asked and mostly resorts to insults and sentiments undecided

People would always look for excuses or reasons to do what they want. Before coming to u, has she discussed it with her husband? Is her mother and sisters dead that she cannot seek their suggestions? Or even close friends? Did she seek ur consent when she agreed to marry d husband? Let her carry her cross and find the most suitabke way to do so, tell her to grow up, marriage is not bf/gf undecided

Romance / Re: Cooking Is Not A Woman's Responsibility In Marriage, How True? by Apina(m): 8:53am On May 15, 2018
A womans role in the family is one of the most important if not the most. A woman can nurture, care and love like no one can, she can work and earn like her male counterpart but thats not where shes necessarily needed cos what nature has given to her no man has. Although its a mans world but its nothing, absolutely nothing without a woman on it. cheesy

Romance / Re: Never Trust Women. If You Dont Want A Life Of Dissapointment by Apina(m): 8:19am On May 15, 2018
madenigga:
This is a true life experience that happened between me, a friend of mine and my supposed girl friend.

I met this girl after the whole circle of wooing and chyking and convincing, she finally decided to date me.
During the period of the dating she refused to let me have sex with her cause she kept saying she was a Virgin, she acted shy wenever i kissed her, and am like maybe shes d one i can finally tie get serious with, coz this her Virgin attitude she kept it on for months infact 2years to be precise.

Now here comes my friend, a full blown flirt which she knows about and has seen his many gfs, i told him i ve not had sex with this my gf and he laughed at me saying am dulling, that the me he used to know back in the uni wud have torn it apart in 2 days.

So a time came and i had to travel to Abuja for sm reasons(business related) this time fell around her bdat period so i just sent her money and messages and even called her. When i finally came back i took her out to make out for the missed bday and she kept acting like nothing ever happened.

After like 4months my friend and i was at a bar with oda of my friends too, talk lead to talk and her matter came up. Whrn i tolf the house that i hadnt hit it they all burst into laughter, but refused to tell me anything. After i insisted they said i shud ask my friend.

Later on i asked him and he told me he had fvcked her not once not twice. We just laughed over it but in my heart i was very angry. The gal started calling me and i stopped taking her calls she started texting me abt why i wasnt answering her phone calls and i ignored. She came to my house and was asking me what the problem was i told her nothing.

After a while i asked her, are you a virgin? She told me yes. I said ok no problem with a smile. And i locked up. She started sending me all sort of gospel messages and gospel verses i ignored. But sent one message are you a virgin?.
That moment she knew the jig was up and she texted me telling me my friend forced her.
Once is an accident twice mistake trice is what.

Sincr then i just locked up.

My advice to guys any gal thats a virgin that you are asking out or dating, force her. Because you wud be very much dissapointed when you hear sm1 else did it for you. The worst sm1 u know.

As much as that girl is a hoe, the idiot you call a friend is worse than a snake. So there is no other girl in town that it had to be the one u told him in trust about that he had to run after? Shes claiming rape but said nothing to u about it and kept on going back over and over again. Its good you did not become violent after getting to know about their betrayal and it would be even better if u started treating that thing posing as a friend like a pariah. undecided

Politics / Re: "We Are Not Lazy" Billboard In Akwa Ibom Over Buhari’s Statement In London. Pics by Apina(m): 11:38am On May 14, 2018
sexdoll:
physical laziness is not the same thing as intellectual/mental laziness

most of our youths may not be physically lazy

but...

majority of our youths are intellectually lazy.

Just take a second look at those billboards.

Can you see something that is totally wrong and even disturbing with that advert?

Someone is telling someone to give him or her a job to prove that he or she is not lazy

But in a vibrant society where there are so many youths who are not intellectually lazy, their youths don't go about asking people/government to give them jobs.

Their youths go about creating those jobs for themselves.

That's just the difference!!!
One of my teachers back in secondary school always told us "understanding the question, is part of the exam". The over 3 million jobs lost in 2017 was a resultant effect of what? The Massacre in benue which has lead to many fleeing their homes and including the "intellectually lazy youths" who have no means of livelihood in the IDP camps boils down to what? The developed nations u speak of, do they have such basic chllenges as we do? Who is then to blame? Trump through his tax policy created over two million jobs, in what way has the government brought bout something good outaide recession?

est ex nihilo nihil fieri-nothing can exist out of nothing.
