Foreign AffairsRe: Saudi Arabia & Iran Are On The Path To Regional Conflict by Appleyard(m):
These two nations can't afford to fight especially now, because the hardship that would follow in the middle east would be catastrophic, in that it would more than triple the refugee crisis in Europe right now, which would impact negetively on the EU economy, and once the the EU implode economically, the rest of the world would follow suit, and we all know what that mean; A period of untold hardship and anger.

So they better watch it.

However, the only gainers from such a war would be oil-selling nations like Nigeria, Russia, venezuella, Angola, etc, as the current prices of oil will sky rocket, oweing to the fact that Saudi Arabia is a major supplier, plus Iran just coming out of sanctions in the wake of the successul nuke deal with the west. The major losers would be those economiics that depends hugely on oil and gas. E.g China, India, the EU, etc.

War is indeed a paradoxical irony.

Foreign AffairsRe: The 2nd Most Powerful Person In German Politics Wants Russia Sanctions Lifted by Appleyard(m): 1:27am On Oct 17, 2015
When we said that sanctions always have boomerang effects, they thought they can have their way all the time. If there is anyone that has benefited from these war of sanctions, it is Russian, in that it enable them to look inward , exploited and developing within its own capacity, re-priortised its economic and financial initiatives as well as taking bold and concrete decisions like in Syria, (while widening stronger ties with China ) without further compromise regarding the west.
On the other hand. The EU is practically the loser in this war. Farmars in Ireland, France, Poland, etc, are still struggling to find buyers for their agricultural products, and they now have to cut down on production since there is no one to buy the suplus goods which were once meant for the large Russian market. Ship builders in France and car manufacturers in Germany are counting their losses, while mother Russia is cutting deals here and there. The EU is the fool here while the US that instigated all these is unfazed back home. Now, with the EU economy facing another downhill pilgrimage, particularly the german economy, they suddenly realize that sanctions don't work anything afterall.

Well, is never to late to make amend, if the EU can summon the courage to give the US the middle finger and resume normal and cool headed activities in Europe. Otherwise, more birth pains ahead for the EU.

I don't see immigrants sleeping in russian embassies for a chance at russian truth and justice.
Judicial system? When you have an American so-called democratic system that is suppose to be fair to all, but yet defined by class and race, that is no judicial system either. While Russia judiciary is far from perfect. America's is like the devil's ampit. A policeman can dispatch 6 bullets into the body of an unarmed black man (RIP Michael Brown) and the court will find him not liable to even stand trial, let alone conviction. But in another similar incident where the victim was a whiteman, the policeman stood trial. That is democratic justice for you, i think. Dear friend the US justice system is a class-race base system, with racial profiling as the bedrock of enforcing justice.

People don't have to sleep in embassies or go to live in a country for them to show they love or support the policies of that country particularly as it relate to international relation. That i support the rights of Palestinian women and children to live their God given lives against Isreali reckless shellings and mass murdering, does not imply i will prefer to live in Palestine; just the same way people are supporting the cause of Russia/China as against the hegemonic terror of the US in today's world. CVN-71 and CVN-76 from this map appear to be converging at the South China Sea… Hmmmmmmmm

@appleyard @Shymm3x
Yeah. The stakes have been raised ever since China started building artificial islands in the south China sea. And it is gradually reaching a feverish level. But the truth is, it has nothing to do with the Chinese new Islands. Do anyone actually think the US gives a dime if China sand-fill the whole sea? Nah nah! There is more than meet the eye in this US/China feud. Something very alarming is gradually happening to the US financial/economic base, which alot of people haven't notice (i might do a thread on that later).

The provocative actions taken by US government in the South China Sea is only a response to this impending financial doom and fear by the elites (the shadow government) , and not in the interest of the American people, nor does it portend any strategic and security threat to the nations's national interest. The White House is simply taking orders from the financial elite shadow figures, the bankers who control the money supply and the government. These are the same people who imposed sanctions against Russia, overthrew the elected government of Ukraine, and destroyed one of the most stable nations in the Middle East, Libya. As one analyst aptly put it: They are mad men, lunatics, and are leading the world to war.
Why would the bankers want to provoke China? The answer has nothing to do with the South China Sea. It has everything to do with the U.S. dollar.

The dollar has been a cash machine for the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank because they collect interest on every dollar printed, all at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. It is no different from raping and pillaging, except they have managed to make it legal. However, the Fed is not content to just rape U.S. taxpayers. They want to rape the rest of the world too. They have managed to get away with it for decades, but now the rest of the world is getting tired of it, especially since 2008 when the Fed began printing trillions of dollars to bail out their failed financial institutions.
The impact of the Fed’s reckless money printing has been felt around the world because almost all International trade is done in dollars and nearly all of the world’s commodities are priced in U.S dollars. The excessive money printing caused prices for commodities like corn, wheat, soybeans, and oil to increase to all time highs. The higher prices were especially harmful to third world and emerging nations because they spend over half of their incomes on food and energy. For some nations the economic turmoil even resulted in the overthrow of governments, including Tunisia and Egypt.

Now, to protect themselves, China, while systematically increasingly dumping it's shares of US treasury bonds, pegged its currency to the dollar, which enabled them to avoid much of the commodity price inflation and avoid raising prices for their exports. However, they did not stop there. They began taking actions to replace the dollar as the world’s reserve currency so they would never again be victimized by US actions. They began developing their own alternative financial system to replace the western-based systems.
In defiance of the western bankers, they formed the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank as an alternative to institutions like the World Bank and the IMF. They invited other countries to join and just about everyone did, even long-time U.S. allies like South Korea, Australia, the U.K., France, Germany, and Italy. Only Japan stayed loyal to the U.S.
In addition, China formed new trade and military alliances with Russia. Not quite long they completed joint military training exercises and signed a new trade agreement, and is now getting more pronounced that complete alliance between China and Russia is very imminent.

Therefore, the conflict in the South China Sea and the now coverging US millitary assets around that area. is not about the new islands that China is building. It is about the financial elite trying desperately to put China back in their place, to force them to yield to their demands, to show them
" we are still the boss ". Unfortunately, this strategy is going to backfire because the United States is more vulnerable than ever before due to the enormous government debt, which is now over $18 trillion. Meanwhile, China is stronger than ever due to years of strong economic growth and a very large, well funded military. Also.
China’s military force in the South China Sea far outnumbers the United States in both air and sea power. The U.S. has just 9 destroyers compared to 73 for China. The U.S. has 2 submarines compared to 58 for China. The U.S. has 54 fighter/bomber aircrafts compared to 2,100 for China. (Source: U.S. Department of Defense, World Air Forces 2015 report.)
Thats why China is not being intimidated so far.

And with Russia in Syria on another side, the US is facing more than it can chew.

Comment by the Saker: the big news here is that the USA has pulled the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) out of the Persian Gulf and that, for the first time in many years, no US aircraft carrier will be patrolling these waters. In fact, there are currently no US aircraft carriers anywhere near the Middle-East. Funny fact: Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th US President and Russia fired exactly 26 cruise missiles, after which the Theodore Roosevelt withdrew. Coincidence or the the Kremlin send a message to Uncle Sam?
Itmay be coincidence on the surface, but if you are one that deals with binary numbers and coded sequence, then you will understand that what Russia deliberately sent a coded message which the Pentagon codedly decipher.grin I laugh when people say they pulled the ship out cos it was due for mentainance; grin what a lame excuse.grin Anyway, its quiet now for the time being.

Foreign AffairsRe: US Airforce Unveils S-400 Missile Killers. by Appleyard(m):
S-400 missiles killer lol.cheesy

My dear brother, there is this hyping about US weaponries, not that they are not formidable, but they will make you feel and believe in a way that is quite contrary to the real thing. While both sides are guilty of propaganda, there is this silly prevailing wisdom in the US-led west that, when it comes to technology, if it isn't the west or from the west only, then you can't have it better, equal, or similar, elsewhere. It further went to imply that Russian technology is nothing but crap and so on.

Now hear this: Stealth technology is a very good and cost effective mode of capability, one that is very effective when deploy for use in man-mission assignement, in the sense that, it create a sense of invisibility (though this largely depends on the enemy's level of sophistication as the case may be); and when it comes to Drones, it becomes more attractive as it cost less per unit of product, smaller and lighter in size, as well as eliminating the risk of loss of human live associated with it's manned counterpart.
However, the fact remains that stealth technology is not that prime a big deal as it sound, particularly with the US posturing of stealthiness. Going steathy doesn't actually mean you are invisible all the time. It has its limitations as well. Moreover, Your invisibility is mostly down to the level of counter sophistication and cyber capability of the enemy in question. If the enemy is as smart or more smart as you are in such areas, you would only be visible in your own eyes; the enemy can take you out in short notice. But if you are above your enemy in this regard, he can only look up to Jesus for his deliverance, or blame the Devil for his own incompetency.
There are no two other ways to it.

Stealth technology is nothing new. It is even known to the Soviets decades before the West came to know about it. And when it comes to stealthy drones like the ones the US fan boys quickly take to YouTube, they become more vulnerable in that they rely on a constant streaming or inflow of data, and as such, can be intercepted and effectively commandeer by an enemy having a sophisticated counter measures and Powerful Cyber capability.
This much was the case in 2011 when Iran commandeered and captured a US Drone RQ 170 Sentinel, using cyber capability; and from it, they made their own copy using reverse reengineering. Even the Chinese were not left out of the feast.grin

Again, in 2014, the same Iran downed a Isreali Stealthy drone in the Uranium enrichment area in Natanz. The Drone was killed by a ground to air missile before it could gain access into the area. So much for stealthiness.

Now, lets not be blindly bias, ask yourself: if Iran can take down such advanced stealthy Drones, how much more the Russians that is far superior to Iran in both Cyber, missiles, radar, satellites, and laser capability? Well, your guess is as good as mine if the truth means anything to you.

That US is arming its Drones with Laser weapons is no big deal at all. They will likely meet with their waterloo like their Iranian predecessors. And that is a fact.cheesy

And to even talk of it engaging the almighty S-400, is a big joker, and the reason why we must be careful of all these hypes, its pure propaganda.

The S-400s are defensive systems against all sorts of threat, including stealth, and are meant to be deployed with Pantsir-S1s ans Tor- M2s. The big S-400 engages stealth and bombers while the Pantsir and Tor engage HARMs and glide bombs. Thats quite effective since very few countries have a similiar doctrine. Oh yes, a laser is capable of hitting targets only from 15-20 km when its power output is 100kW. The US navy's laser is only 1/10th of that, and i wonder if the ones on the drones are any better, if not worse. What's funnier is that it can only engage one target at a time and cannot be deployed in foggy or rainy weather. The Laser Weapon system is made as a cheap alternative, NOT as a replacement. The weapon is a flying corpse for the S-400 that can fire multiple SAMs and Pantsirs in one lunatic lunch.grin And don't forget; that system can see " everything ", even NATO has testify to it recently.cheesy

So like i said, the stealth drone is good, but it stand no chance against mama Putingrin

As Russia Bombs ISIS, US Bombs Syrian Civilian Power Stations
TOPICS: Brandon Turbeville Middle East Russia
October 12, 2015
By Brandon Turbeville
In yet another telling episode, the United States has again demonstrated its true position in regards to ISIS and the Russian bombing of the terrorist organization.
As Russian forces drop bombs and missiles on top of ISIS fighters all across Syria, lobbing cruise missiles from the Caspian, regular sortie missions, and combat helicopter attacks against ISIS and other “relatively moderate” cannibals and terrorists, the United States launched a bombing mission of its own against two power plants in Aleppo.
The power plants were located in al-Rudwaniya east of Aleppo and resulted in power outages affecting the Syrian people, adding to the American tradition of bombing civilian infrastructure instead of ISIS and other terrorist targets in Syria. The power outages only further contribute to the misery surrounding the people of Aleppo who have been bombarded by barbarians funded by the United States and NATO, intent of raping and beheading their way through the city and declaring their caliphate of pre-civilization on civilized people.

It should also be noted that the US bombing campaign is a violation of international law, unlike the Russian campaign where Russian forces were invited in to the country by the legitimate government.
The United States has long maintained that its bombing campaign was directed at ISIS but, to date, very little damage has been done to ISIS structures, facilities, or personnel by any American airstrikes. Only when ISIS fighters are threatening a Western interest (i.e. an oil well owned by a Western company) or when NATO has been unable to simply redirect ISIS forces via embedded or proxy commanders do terrorists actually find themselves bombarded by what is, in reality, an act of “death squad herding.”
Instead, the U.S. has repeatedly bombed oil refineries, bridges, grain silos, food distribution facilities, and other civilian infrastructure and civilian areas.
The US support of ISIS can scarcely be denied given the fact that the U.S., in collusion with NATO, GCC, and Israel were responsible for the creation of the terror group to begin with as well as for inserting it into Syria for the purpose of destroying the secular government of Bashar al-Assad.
The American reaction to the Russian campaign itself is telling enough, with the US State Department panicking and throwing fits over the Russian bombing of terrorist targets who, even with the best PR money can buy, can only at best be described as “relatively moderate.” Of course, in relation to heart eating cannibals, baby killers, and perpetrators of the most grotesque murders ever witnessed, virtually anyone might appear “moderate.” Still, none of the savages fighting against Assad in Syria are even moderate in comparison since – despite their presence in different brigades and different units of terror complete with a myriad of different names – they are all part of the same overarching organization that is controlled, backed, funded, and directed by the West.
There never were any moderate rebelsin Syria and there are no “relatively moderate” rebels operating in Syria today. The Syrians recognize this. The Iranians and Hezbollah recognize this. The Russians recognize this. It is high time for the American people to join the reality-based community and recognize this as well.

First how did Iran even get into the equation as far as MH17 is concerned? And who are these 4 or 5 countries? I am curious to know. You aren't making stories up I hope?

Only Russia has consistently through its Ambassador to the UN, Churkin asked that the investigation is OPEN...... Again, Russia has asked severally that the investigation be oooooopppppeeeeeeennnn......

US and its allies have kept it ssseeeeccreeeeeet and even gone as far as forcing all participating countries to sign a non disclosure pact!

You will notice a trend: Russia has been the only country that has consistently asked for an open investigation headed by an independent body into the shooting down of MH17. The U.S., Ukraine and others on the other hand have had this entire "investigation" shrouded in secrecy. They have failed to investigate evidence or findings provided by the Russians (or other independent bodies) and neither has the U.S. even provided ANY on it's part!

These are the facts:

- Details of Flight Data Recorder and the Voice Cockpit Recorder are yet to be revealed.

- The tapes of the conversation between Air Traffic Control and MH17 were confiscated by the Ukrainian SBU and remain hidden to this day

- The U.S. hasn't provided ANY evidence whatsoever to support their immediate and frenzied accusation of Russia and the separatists as being responsible for shooting down MH17. What we have had so far are citations of "social media", "common sense" "unverified", "unconfirmed" evidence. Here again is the video of then U.S. State Department Spokesperson, Marie Harf (I believe was fired from the post for such a horrible job grin) fumbling and mumbling, unable to butress the accusations the U.S. had leveled against Russia.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQRvINebeok

- One of such social media evidence that Ms Marie Harf referenced to were the alleged videos of BUK missile batteries being scurried back to Russia. These images if you recollect were plastered all over Western news media as evidence that Russia used a BUK battery to shoot down MH17 - not minding that a workable BUK missile battery actually requires three separate units to function as a whole (The radar acquisition unit, the command center and the missile batteries itself) These images however have all been debunked and proven to be missile batteries that actually belong to the Ukranian Army.

- Another social media evidence that Uncle Sam then desparately hinged its case on was the "intercepted" audio recording of separatists supposedly rejoicing over the shooting down of the plane. As shown in earlier posts in this thread:Evidence that MH17 is a False Flag Operation this has also been discredited and outed as a fake as the audio recording wasn't one composite frame and what's more, the date stamp on it shows that it was recorded a day before MH17 was shot down! Talk about bumbling SBU operatives and their CIA counterparts! grin grin

Oga, meandsum your audio evidence doesn't hold up to forensic scrutiny. The BUK you claim was sighted by this AP reporter, if he/she really did see one, is no doubt one of those many images of BUK allegedly been scurried by to Motherland Russia that have All been discredited.

Just as the lies of the 2013 Ghouta chemical attack, Saddam's weapons of mass destruction, Saddam's Al-Qaeda affiliation, etc were sold to gullible fellas like you, same about MH17 has been sold to you.....

Give it a rest!
Good work, Soulja.cheesy i wamted to recommend that we have discussed this issues over time here, but i decided against it. Well, glad you helped him out. Its left for him now to sieve the truth from false reality.

Based on these extremely dangerous turn of events, all I can say is that shame on ANYONE that supports the reckless and downright evil actions of the US in the Middle East and in the world at large. How can one country in its drive for unbridled and blind desire for world hegemony take us all to the precipice of another world war? How can a country masquerading as a bastion of democracy unleash its proxy army of the vilest and most evil of terrorists across MENA just to have its way?

Would you believe that just today, a senate hearing committee was suggesting that Syrian refugees - the very same people that the mad men in Washington say they want to "liberate" from Assad - be used as human shields to prevent their so-called "moderate" rebels from being bombed by Russia? SOMEBODY SHOULD PLEASE DEFEND THIS INSANITY!

Shame on Missy89, shame on CSTR2, shame on anyone that is deluded enough to support this madness!! It may be Iraq, Libya, Syria, today, it might well be Nigeria tomorrow!
Weep not, Oh Nairaminted. The evils of the American led Empire is one that is beyond whatever Hitler ever concieved in mind during his days. Show not your anger, son; for the time cometh when her iniquities, whoredom and murderous ways shall be rewarded. Using Humans as shield is no problem, if they could kill their own people in in 9/11, why should some moslem women, children be a problem?

That is why you have the United States of Anarchy! And all those who have been directly and indirectly lauding their activities, especially in the wake of ISIS unparalleled evil campaign, be it known to you that you are making yourself a partaker of her sins and whoredom on a global scale. Except of course you don't believe in God and Judgement.

If i read correctly, The orders was that they should avoid Russia Jets at all cost but they should be ready to defend themselves IF THEIR LIVES DEPENDS ON IT.

I dont believe the news anyway or should i say the media made it sound as if British jets will be hunting Russian planes...but under normal circumstances, That is what any fighter pilot would do. If they are threatened they will use their missiles to defend themselves.

If it is true, There is nothing alarming about it at all. The Americans have decided to stay away from any Russian jet that is 20 nautical miles or there about to their own in Syria to prevent these kind of indecent. RAF probably kicked it up a notch and are preparing their pilots to have something to fight with.

If you think they have superior jets, why are they paranoid and summoning people everywhere. They should arm their war birds too and try to harass a tornado and lets see what will happen. Afterall, Russian defense chiefs have been ignoring their counterpart in the West since the beginning of their Syrian Crusade most of the time.
The summon is just a mere show of concern by the Russians to clarify the issue. They know the whole thing like you said, was overbloated anyway. Not to mention that Russian planes are not even flying combat in Iraq. But if any credibility is to be attached to this new crisis, it is that it alludes Russia is about engaging in full combact mission in Iraq, and that the British Intelligence might have gotten a wind of it. Hence, the statement. But you never can tell.

Now, common Missy: what makes you think Russia can not stand up to the Uk Tornadoes or Hammatan what? Do you honestly believe the RAF can intimidate or bully the Russians in the skies, especially if the place is to be Syria? Cameron think say na James Bond movie him play?grin

No problem.
I don't believe in talk either. Putin has drawn the first blood like you said, it is left for the US to respond.
Which is why i won't drag this issue any longer until after the US drops its inevitable response.
It has already drop her response: pulling her aircraft carrier from the Med while Russian fleeets moved in, staying away as far as 20-nautical miles from the Russians over the air in Syria, and complaining upon complaining.

That is ya response,, gringoo.grin

Stop giving your self false complexity, NATO and America cannot risk a war with Russia ( I mean only Russia). If AmErica decides to go to war with Russia, then it can only count on its support, many nations in Europe will never dare to fight Russia again. You will only find out how frail NATO is the moment America makes any move as to picking a fight with Russia. Oh what am I even saying? Didn't the UK back out of their planned coalition with the USA over military strikes on Syria, when Russia made it clear that it will come to Syria's assistance? Ditto Germany when America threatened to arm Ukraine.

It's pathetic how you guys make it sound as if the republican are not human. As if they are immune to death and destruction. Was it not a neocon republican who was the president of the U.S. When Russia invaded Georgia? I guess he bombed the hell out here of Russia. Wasn't it during the republican presidency that N. Korea tested its nuclear missile and what did the neocon do?

I hate arguments and long talk, I believe in action, putin is giving us actione and until America retaliates, till then Russia remains the Boss.
I wanted to answer him, but, as you know, some kids would only wait for daddy to come onboard, even when such daddy had proven in time pass that he can do no sh1t when the Bear is concerned. So let them back in their misguided delusion of having a Republican in the white house.
