zomby:I think i must agree with you. But still, there exist the need to impact knowledge and wisdom, to open the eyes of the deluded, and save their souls from the vengeance of their own folly. Because what we have here are mostly people with little or no understanding, advocating the disintegration of Nigeria, hoping to find lasting peace and prosperity in their deluded dreams, If only they know the horrors that follows such scenarios. For there is hardly all-round peaceful secession in the history of men. Most acts of secession ends up with thousands upon thousands dying like animals, blood running in the streets like a million litres of empty paint drums, contending with the paint man, While blinding the eyes of the helpless Earth. These secessionist-warmongering kids will leap over an electric pole when they hear the deadly sound of gunshot from attacking armed robbers. Some will even urinate in their shorts and may begin to speak in tongues like Christ embassy is a learner, when they hear intimidating footsteps of dare-devil robbers or cultists shattering and slaming doors in their directions, with crying bullets accompanying the wailing nights! Yet, it is these same kids whom by the 21st century chance of technologies, have found their way into the internet and started clamouring for a breakup. A breakup that could consist of fighter jets, heavy artileries, rockets and missile lunchers, to mention but a few... They are deluded children craving for war; a war their fathers fought and regreted it ever happened. A war they myopically believed would grant them the much touted freedom and equality they so desired, even when their own political representatives and leaders holds them in subjugation. A secession they so much in their illusory minds believed would catapult them to greatness, yet their own elected governors, senators, reps, members of assemblies, chairmen, commissioners, contractors, financials, marketers, and so on, in their own states and respective places, have done virtually nothing to impact positively on their lives----the same cabal and elites that would still run the affairs of state should secession eventually succeed. And the result would be ten times worse than when it was the status quo. Then Violence, chaos and anarchy, resulting from the struggle to dominate, rule, possess and control political and economic power, would become the order of the day. A disastrous return to the Hobbesian state of nature where life is nasty, brutish and primitive. And its the 99%ters that would eventually end up paying with their blood in a pitiable dismal service rendering unto the cabalic elites! The likes of Eritrea, Libya, South Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, etc , quickly comes to mind. I believe this is not the type of life any secessionist-thinking Igbo man wants to live... It is the fly who have no one to advice him that follows the corpse into the grave. Nigeria is not our enemy, rather, we (the people) are the enemies of Nigeria. Lets deal with the elites/ cabal and the twin evils of corruption and government insensitivity; then you shall see the REAL NIGERIA, and i bet you woud be amazed that all along, the real Nigeria is none else but YOU! MY BLACK REPUBLIC FOR LIFE! The likes of Eritrea, Libya |
theV0ice:Thanks sir. We can do nothing but for the truth. |
When such an alliance is formed (which i know is only in your cocain unspired dream), its your father's house that would be the first port of call.. How would you like that? |
theV0ice:True words bro. There are times i do wonder if there is a police force in Nigeria, because, like you rightly mentioned, the Nigeria army has been factually playing a dual role--- internal and external security. It has become so bad that people now prefer to settle scores and carry out arrests of offenders using the army or vigilante groups, simply because the NPF has lost its integrity and whatever deterence it can project, due to endemic corruption, under development and betrayal of public trust. The Nigerian police force is virtually none functioning and in none existence. It is very heart breaking when a policeman practically select the cases and checks he needs to handle, as it relates to arrest of persons and investigations in area of operation and zoning within the force. But when you call the same policeman to help in recovering a debt, you would be shock to see how effectve he is, as if that is part of his duty, when you shall behold in awe the intimidation, brutality and arrests that would follow---since he is gonna get some change from it. But the same policeman will look the other way from a suspected tinted glass Jeep, not caring what is inside, provided he has gotten the much revered hundred naira note: something you hardly see a SOULJA do. It is even more regretably lugubrous when you come accross a policeman who can not distinguished between a criminal and civil offence. Very pathetic. The same policeman you will find on the highways and byways! Therefore, the removal of the army from all check points, though done in good faith, is likely to exacarbate the fragile security condition of our roads and cities, since that deterrence (however little) may no longer be there. May God help us! |
Jorussia:Whoever is still doubting the verocious animality of the previous government unenviable record in wastage of resources, should now put such doubts behind them. The Badluck E-slowpoke Jonathan administration was a complete failure. An administration of drunks, imbeciles, bunkerers, Militants, the cluesless, thieves and looters! Thus, its no surprise we have an empty treasury. Why won't there be an empty treasury when the likes of Deziany was busy wasting 10billion in shattering fleights to and fro the air like Satan in search of Job; Odua wastefully spending 250 million on bullet proof cars, a SURE-P program (which in truth is Sure poverty) that never got to the populace at large: and the rest of the criminal Jonathan's cabinet busy looting and looting like there will be no tomorow. I truely pity Buhari, for he is going to suffer so much to fix the rot and mess that Badluck left behind! Very pathetic and despicable! |
Caseless:alright... |
If India with as much as one thousand different nationalities could be living together, i wonder what the heck some persons are talking about seceding from Nigeria. The best is too tackle the corrupt leadership we have now, not looking for secession, that is an ill wind that will blow nobody any good. The OP just gave a resounding point in his thesis. The problem is not one part of the country cheating this or that other part. For every section of this country is been marginalized. The real problem is the thieving occultic ruling elite from all part of the country, who knows nothing ther than to loot and embezzle the wealth of the people at their disposal. Even if you secede, you would still have d same set of thieves and looters forming the ruling elite, and nothing will change. |
Caseless:Pls choose your words carefully, not all South-South are towing the rebellous and aggressive line of the Ijaw militias. You can not because of one bad orange in a basket condemn the rest in that basket. Thus insulting the whole of South-South is not in order. I am fully in support of the Army dealing with criminals and rouges operating accross the creeks, but while doing this, it should not be based on regionalism and ethnicity, Otherwise, we would be creating more fire out of an already thick smoke. Not withstanding, the territorial integrity of Nigeria must remain and be maintained, whether in South or in North. |
modath:You can say that again and again... The cluelessness of Jonah knows no bounds! you need to see what NIMASA of Tompolo and the remaining criminals on routing errand are doing here in Delta and Bayelsa states, under the guise of pipeline protection. Bunkering is now the order of d day in these areas. A 'good' dividends of the many cluelessness of the GEJ Jonathan's administration. |
ransomed:Alright.... |
ayoku777:There are direct and indirect statements in relation to a preposition in English. The difference between the two is that, one (direct) is clearly and pointedly stating the fact of something as it is, while the other (indirect) is covertly, mildly but unmistakenly stating the fact about the nature of a thing. Not withstanding, they are both stating the same fact, pointing to the same thing, but in a different format. Thus, a direct and an indirect statements or views, are statements pointing to the object, stating the same fact and having the same results, irrespective of the formats in their usage. What the OP is requesting is where Jesus directly called Himself God. You have proven so far where he directly and indirectly called Himself The Son of God, Though there is hardly a place (but there is) that He directly called Himself God, but he indirectly called and acknowledged Himself to be God: thus having the same result as in the case of if He did actually called Himself God. For instance, in StJohn 20 vs 28, when Thomas said, ''my Lord and My God'', Jesus did not rebuked him, but rather, confirmed what Thomas said by saying: Vs 29.... ''Thomas, because thou have seen me, thou hast bvelieved:.....'' Form the above statement and action, Jesus confirmed He is Both Lord and God. Now check this also... You and i know the story of Abraham, who did he had encounter with during all his days in the entire bible? Who asked him to leave his people and go to another place? Who promised Him Isaac and also demanded he sacrifice Isaac? None else but God, right?.... Good! So it was Jehovah God that Abraham had a relationship with in the bible as written in the Old Testament. But behold the shocker! Jesus said it was Him that Abraham had encounter with! How come? John 8 vs 56.... '' Abraham your Father rejoiced to see my day, and he saw it and was glad...'' what? Where in the entire Old testament wasw it ever written that Jesus Christ and Abraham had a relationship? No place at all! And even the Jews confronted Him on that when they reminded Him that He wasn't even up to 50 years old, yet He is saying Abraham saw Him or Heard from Him....(by this they mean that, even if 50 years was to be added to the current years of Jesus as at when he was making that statement, He still would not have been able to see Abraham, who died some hundreds of years before He Jesus was Born...see? ). But by that indirect statement Jesus, coupled with the answer He later gave them, CLEARLY AND FACTUALLY STATED THAT HE IS THAT THE SAME GOD JEHOVAH OF THE OLD TESTAMENT. That was why the Jews took up stones to stone Him, because they understood that by that statement, He just called Himself God.. And they knew they have only ONE GOd! ![]() So, in a nutshell, Jesus actually called Himself God! Finally, Jesus did actually directly called Himself God! ![]() Revelation 1:7-8 King James Version (KJV) 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Vs 11 to 18 said it all. Jesus all the way! : |
piicity:So You think say na one Shekau na u get? |
Magician1503:What make you think they don't know how to use it? Must we downgrade and under rate our own? Na wow ooo. |
Facebook keh! I wonder if the OP have a face! |
ransomed:Yeah! ![]() .. You sound scared..!Well, honestly, you make sense, especially when you consider our government unenviable record in mismanagement. If they couldn't manage hydro-electrical generation, one wonder how they would cope with a Nuclear one. God help us. But lets be optimistic, cause there power in positivism. Nevertheless, such drills still goes along way in curtailing its effect, plus it create a sense of awareness and assurance. And one undisputable fact is that we are living in a world of Nuclear Energy. But do you think we can still become self sufficient and constant on hydro generation? As for me, we have proven to be unreliable in that regard. So what do you think? |
Kingspin:Thank you for your sensible insight. Yes, its not true that Jonathan's administration is a total failure in all respect, but for a government to use, like you said, 50% of its resourses and time to fight the opposition, speaks volume of how desperate it wants to hold on to power, and the fact that it overwhelmingly under performed and was generally loathed by most of the people; hence the vigorous fight to wrestle power with the opposition. Had the GEJ administration performed 40%, it would not have engaged in the fruitless battle with the opposition, a battle that only helped to nail its political coffin. On the other hand, i think i will have to disagree with your assertment that the previous administration spent 50% of its time in fighting Boko Haram. Had this been the case, the insulgence as we know it today, would have been greatly minimized, if not totally eradicated. But unfortunately, the reverse was the case. The previous government at first handled the situation with kids gloves, and even when it had the chance to redeem its badly battered image in the wake of the Chibok girls brohaha, it cluelessly capitulated and cause the already heated smoke to become a wide fire of rage and hate of unprecedented proportion: expecially when the President could only called the then Governor of that state, ONE MONTH AFTER THE KIDNAPPING INCIDENT OCCURRED. Isn't that terrible? Or how best can one describe the height of insensitivity and cluelessness? When you take this act of insensitivity and such other acts of recklessness as it relates to the economy and the over-all well being of the populace at large, you may not be wrong to say the GEJ administration wass a waste and a complete failure. Now, on the issue of the Nigerian political system needing restructuring; to say otherwise would amount to denying a fact like saying Africa is not a continent. The Nigerian political system is in a state of quagmire! With colonial laws still forming parts of our civil and criminal procedures and codes, with tribal politics and regionalism determining and shaping political and economic aspirations, leadership and ideologies, rather than mutual actualization of National policies and realisation of State objectives or goals. On these notes, one can argue that the political entity called Nigeria, right from the almagamation of 1914, is a FAILED PROJECT! However, this too will amount to a myopic sense of events in lieu of political transcedency, given the fact that many other nations out there in the world that were formed during the same period like Nigeria, or many years after pre-or-post independence Nigeria, are no longer together as one entity. This goes to show that we as a people are unique and have survived so many difficulties and trying times, thus implying that we can get it right if only we are able to have the right people, then the right policies, couple with a general change of attitude towards our fatherland. On these grounds, we can thrive and become successful, by supporting the goverment at all levels, and also making them to be responsible and accountable when necessary. And we must start now with this administration and onward. God bless Nigeria. |
Very well analysed and taken... But the fact still remains that, the United Snakes of Amoeba is entering a major conflict mode, And its going to be very, very catastrophic! |
cyprus000:Exactly! Political bigotery has become a virus blindfolding the views of most of today's youths. That is why this country will continue to suffer the way it is now. |
So He greeted his cattle, and what is the big deal? :/ and what did Jonah greeted you with, other than the Boko Haram that he successfully supervised to become the formidable force they are now? And as for we in the South-South, he greeted us with epileptic power supply, fuel scarcity, a Naira only worth its place in toilet papers, unprecedented looting, with one of his ministers (deziany) wasting a whooping 10billion shattering fleights to and fro the air like Satan looking for Job. Not to mention Odua's 250 million bullet proof cars, and Ijaw militants on a bunkering free harvest in the creeks and high seas. What other kind of 'greeting' beat these ones? Pathetic... |
begod:Ehen.. And what did that young and agile-good looking Otuoke man able to do for you for the past six years when he was president,:/ other than wasting the nation's wealth by getting drunk and allowing women to rule in his place...? An old and physically weak- looking but conscious, calculative and decisive Buhari, is anyday and anytime, better than a vibrant, good looking but clueless and powerless drunk of a GEJ, who can not even tell the difference between stealing and corruption. The Man is not even two months old on the Job yet, and here you are crying foul like a AS Roma. Stop throlling about and allow the man to do his work carefully. We all are tired of vibrant but senseless dullards of leaders that can't even control their own cabinet. Thus, let the old ones take their time to chose and do their Job. |
owobokiri:You dont know yourself oo . So, had this come from the white man that your types always see as God, tell me you wouldn't have recieved it line, hook and sinker?Your types should be barnished from this country of ours. You are one unpatriotic son of disapointment. |
cyprus000: ![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you very much.. I wonder how this country can be better with such set of people who never see anything good about Nigeria.. Pathetic. |
Ok... Thats good to hear. At least, we have some warm heads in our security apparatus who are already thinking ahead.. Pre-emptive measures are always necessary for any successfull security objectives. Lets just hope they keep up the spirit. |
