CelebritiesSammy Okposo & Ibru`s Daughter In N*de Pix Scandal …wrecks Schoolmate`s Marriage by aproko247(op): 4:13am On Jun 05, 2013
If you`ve heard of this cliché, “The rich also cry”, then what you`re about to read will tell you more that, not all that glitters are gold. It is a shocking story of one of the grand daughters of the fabulously rich billionaire businessman, Olorogun Michael Ibru whose reckless lifestyles is second to none. The fatty 19 year-old girl, Alula is the gift of the love-gone-sour relationship between Gloria Ibru, a.k.a Mama G-the first daughter of Olorogun Michael Ibru and actor cum popular gospel singer, Sammy Okposo.

According to sources, Alula Okposo by her status in the society is one of the luckiest girls on earth, the grand-daughter of Olorogun attends one of the most expensive schools in the United Kingdom where she pays Ten Thousand Pounds (British Pounds Sterling) about N2.5m per term. And people close to the Ibrus confided in National Enquirer that, the spoilt brat was expelled for spending her school fees for a whole term (N2.5m) partying, drinking, smoking and enjoying life to the fullest.

Alula, 19 who`s a chain smoker we gathered is presently in the center of a marriage break-up between one of her school mates, a British girl, Clea Carl and one Tim Bode Idowu Jnr., a London based high profile music promoter, CEO of Pattern Entertainment and co-founder of SN1 Group who coincidentally happens to be her (Alula) father`s friend.

We gathered further that Tim 37, who schooled and lives in the UK with his parents and other siblings has been dating Clea Carl, Alula`s school mate for a while and the duo had already chosen August 2013 date to seal their liaison before Alula came in. The well connected Tim has worked with the likes of Giggs, (Nathaniel Thompson) who won the BET Awards for Best UK Rapper in 2009 and Nigerian born Tiny Temper who was the only rapper that performed at the 2012 London Olympics.

His mother, Grace Idowu who we gathered is one of the most influential Black Women in Peckham area of London runs David Idowu foundation in honour of her son stabbed about 5 years ago, the woman of substance also won Tesco Mother of The Year, 2012.

Our high dependable family source told this magazine that, in what looked like a planned script, Tim got invited to the Ibrus` Apapa residence sometime last year in one of his journeys to Nigeria for a get-together and the rest has been history since then, the next thing was that, the duo of Alula and Tim fell head over heel in love, going to places together including clubs and they were conspicuously seen during Alula`s birthday celebration at Liquid Lounge on Victoria Island, Lagos, Encomium Black & White Ball and so on where her father who didn’t know anything posed with Tim in a photograph.

Alula, we were told kept bombarding Tim`s blackberry phone with different nude pictures until Clea who was Alula`s Friend in school got wind of it when she saw Alula`s several nude pictures in her fiancé`s phone. We learnt that Clea fainted on the spot, with the phone in her hands when she saw it. And when she was revived, she immediately cancelled their wedding plans, which was why she was in Nigeria in the first place, and jetted back to the UK, leaving a devastated Tim.

PoliticsBreaking: Akala Joins Ladoja’s Accord Party by aproko247(op): 5:30pm On Jun 04, 2013
Few days ago, Aproko247 reported of a meeting between two ex-governors of Oyo State; Rashidi Ladoja and Adebayo Alao-Akala, aimed at making sure that the incumbent governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi, is not returned in 2015.

True to our story, Akala has now decamped to Ladoja-led Accord Party from the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.

According to our source in Ibadan, the duo met again on Monday evening over the matter. Their discussions were said to have been based on strategies to adopt in achieviing their goal at the 2015 elections in the state, which they hope paves way for the ousting of Ajimobi’s Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, from the State House in Ibadan, the state capital.

Also, both parties met again on Monday to finalize modalities of their merger.

More details later.

PoliticsAPC Is Doomed To Fail–metuh by aproko247(op): 4:13am On Jun 04, 2013
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said that it welcomes the opposition parties to the 2015 general elections holding in Nigeria for various elective positions. This was contained in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh.

According to the party, the field is opened to all to race, but maintained that they (the opposition parties, including the unregistered All Progressive Congress, APC), are doomed to fail.

“We (PDP) welcome the opposition to the contest. However, they are already doomed to failure because Nigerians have since realized their undemocratic tendencies and desperation for power for selfish reasons,” Metuh stated.

He added that, “Nigerians know that they (the opposition) are merely strange bed fellows who are united by bitterness, frustration and religious and tribal sentiments and not for national interest.”

Metuh further said in the statement that the oppositions have “continued to betray their lust and inner disposition by their utterances in seeking to ‘seize power’ which is has remained their only agenda.”

Metuh also noted that the PDP will win more states in 2015 and challenged the opposition to “hold primaries when the time comes.” He said by that time, it would have dawn on those singing praises of the alliance that they have been betrayed after the godfathers of the opposition party would have fielded their cronies to contest in the election.

PoliticsNGF Crisis Is A Calculated Attempt To Break Nigeria—gov Isa Yuguda Alleges by aproko247(op): 12:10pm On Jun 03, 2013
For those following the crisis that heated up the Nigerian polity, the fear that 2015 will be war, as reportedly said by the National Chairman of the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Bamanga Tukur, is the beginning of wisdom.

Many Nigerians have wondered what will happen in the 2015 general elections in the country if 35 governors cannot conduct a free and fair election under one room, unlike the general election that holds in different thousand of Wards in Nigeria.

Speaking with Daily Trust in Abuja over the weekend, the Governor of Bauchi State, Malam Isa Yuguda, claimed that the crisis rocking the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, is a “calculated attempt to break the country’s unity”.

The governor, who has now left the Northern Governors’ Forum, gave an insight on how the crisis started. He explained at length that, “the drama that ensued at the forum was a deliberate attempt to divide the governors and also targeted towards destroying PDP.

“I say so because in all the leadership changes since the forum was initiated by our predecessors in 1999 elections were never held. The reason why the leader is always chosen by consensus is because elections will bring disunity.

“When Saraki was about to leave office in 2011, I was one of the 13 governors in Ilorin that picked Rotimi Amaechi through consensus. Goje proposed him, I seconded. In the same spirit we gave him all the support and we appointed a committee to draft a constitution for the forum as we saw at the American Governors Association.

“The constitution was drafted by Fashola, Suswam, Chime, Imoke and Namadi Sambo. In the draft they made, we provided for rotation between North and South, in addition to the gentleman’s agreement that already existed.

“I was personally shocked that some people wanted to breach this tradition. Anything short of following the tradition will break us, which is not good for the country’s unity and the common positions that we adopt at the National Economic Council, NEC.

“So, when they proposed elections we said no, there cannot be elections which was why 19 of us signed that there has to be consensus because that is what will unite us. In line with that position, the Northern governors met at 11am on Friday May 24.

“Only the Jigawa and Yobe governors were not present. Chief Servant brought a one item agenda, picking a consensus candidate because the seat belongs to the North.

“Governor Shema and I had indicated interest. When the meeting started the two of us were requested to go out. So we left and stayed out for about 20 minutes before we were called back in. The chairman then announced to us that ‘we decided to drop the two of you and our consensus candidate is Jonah Jang.’

“Both of us said fine, since that is the consensus we bless it. So, we fully expect that all the Northern Governors will stand by the consensus choice. After Friday prayers, we moved to the PDP Governors’ Forum. 15 out of the 19 Northern Governors including our chairman are PDP members.

“When we got to PDP Governors Forum, our chairman [Babangida Aliyu] reported to chairman of PDP Governors Forum that we met and adopted Jonah Jang as our consensus candidate. There was no dissenting voice from South East or South South since the slot belongs to us. So, they all blessed it and gave Shema and me a standing ovation for withdrawing for Jang.

“By 4pm, we were at the venue of NGF meeting. Immediately we entered there was rancour. This one will say this, this one will say that. By my own culture, background and religion, I strongly believe that whatever is agreed upon, we must stand by it unless it is illegal.

“I thought just like our chairman reported to PDP Governors, I expected a similar report to be made to the Nigeria Governors Forum but that was not done, maybe due to the rowdy atmosphere. This one will say election, bring the ballot boxes, this one will say no election.

“I expected common sense, rationality and fear of God to prevail. I expected [Governor Rotimi] Amaechi, as an honourable governor who has chaired the forum for two years with the understanding that he was going to leave after two years and he knows the implication of voting, which was why majority said no voting which can cause division in the country.

“It was a calculated attempt to break the country’s unity and to break PDP. He had perfected his plan in his own lodge, the ballot boxes and ballot papers were in his own lodge and he refused to agree that there should be no election.”

PoliticsNigerian Envoy To Singapore, Nonye Raji, Battles Strange Illness by aproko247(op): 11:23pm On Jun 02, 2013
Nigeria’s ambassador to Singapore, Nonye Rajis-Okwara, is not in a joyous mood at the moment and the reason is not far-fetched. Nonye is seriously battling with a strange illness which has defied normal medications.

As Aproko247 reliably gathered from close sources to the Nigerian envoy, Nonye is very bitter and she is worried that she might be replaced if she doesn’t get back on her feet quickly.

We also learnt that this strange illness is terminal, which has affected her normal diplomatic duties in Singapore.

Aproko247 further scooped that the strange illness has confined Nonye to her bed for months.

Worried by this, the governor of Nonye’s home state, Imo, Rochas Okorocha, is said to be thinking of sending a replacement to President Jonathan for consideration. This is said to be adding more salt to Nonye’s injury.

Politics2015: Ex-ogun Gov, OGD, Visits Dimeji Bankole’s Father by aproko247(op): 11:15pm On Jun 02, 2013
The 2015 general elections in Nigeria is gradually gathering momentum. Various political permutations have already started, while those nursing various political ambitions have started putting in place structures to achieve their goals.

In Ogun State, the race to take over the Oke-Mosan State Government House has started.

Information available to Aproko247 has it that some politicians in the state have started having sleepless nights because of the moves being made by some political bigwigs in the state.

Recently, the erstwhile governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, OGD, paid a visit to Chief Alani Bankole, the father of ex-Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji, at his Abeokuta residence in the state capital.

The visit has already raised nerves within the opposition camps in the state. Details of the meeting was not disclosed as it was held behind closed-door.

However, a source informed Aproko247 that the meeting was to plan ahead 2015 elections in the state. We gathered that OGD is planning a comeback to the political scene in the state and he’s wooing the ‘lords’ of Ogun politics to his side in order to achieve his dream.

Recall that OGD left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, prior to the 2011 elections and went ahead to form his political party. He took the step after he was at loggerheads with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who supported Chief Olurin in the gubernatorial contest in the state.

Both parties lost the seat to the incumbent governor of the state, Ibikunle Amosun of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN.

PoliticsSen Ayoola’s S*x Pix With Mistress Rocks Oyo State by aproko247(op):
A Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who is representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola, is enmeshed in a sex scandal with a married woman.

An insider exclusively disclosed to First Weekly that the lady at the centre of the storm is a married a woman, who has been having secret affair with the senator for years before the relationship turned sour

Sources said that she decided to set up Agboola, who happens to be an associate and former commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs under former governor Alao Akala of Oyo State and who is the Senate Deputy Whip, by luring him to her matrimonial home for sex.

Unknown to Chief Agboola, however, the business woman who shuttles between the United Kingdom and Nigeria had bugged the room with several cameras to expose the misdeed of the senator.

Agboola, who is said to be a chronic womaniser, went to the lady’s matrimonial home and had sex affair with her right on her matrimonial bed.

The lady, we gathered, played smart with the senator as she didn’t remove her clothe completely, while the sex session lasted, but made sure the senator totally pulled off his cloth.

She allegedly ensured that the whole scenario was captured in clean pictures.

After achieving her aim, the pictures found their way into the media, and this reportedly got to Chief Ayoola as a big surprise.

Those who were privileged to see the pictures said that it was just too horrible as it clearly revealed the senator’s manhood dangling menacingly in the hands of his mistress.

CelebritiesI Need A ‘virgin Man’ To Marry–bimbo Akintola by aproko247(op): 4:02pm On May 03, 2013
Source: www.aproko247.com/?p=2815

Nigerian multi-award winning actress, Bimbo Akintola, has disclosed one of the reasons why she has not yet agreed to stay under the same roof with a man as his wife.

In a recent interview, the cross-over actress emphasised that she is not after money or looks, but "a clean man". Bimbo said until she finds one, she will remain single.

"If I can’t see someone and say oh, yeah, I wanna be with this person for the rest of my life or even think it, I won’t do it," said Bimbo, adding that, "I say that all the time and people say oh my God, she said she would never marry, I can’t believe it."

"That’s not what I’m saying," she continued, stating categorically that, "I am simply saying if I don’t see someone that I believe I can look at for the rest of my life, I won’t do it."

Revealing the kind of man she can agree to stay under the same roof with as his wife, the UI graduate of Theatre Arts listed that her man must have, "principles, integrity, someone that’s kind, someone that’s funny, someone that’s clean (Chuckles). Very clean (probably a virgin)! Someone that’s compassionate."

She, however, noted that, "it’s not about being tall, dark and handsome, it’s not about money. We would work for it together or whatever.

"My mum didn’t marry my father a rich man. So, I don’t put much emphasis on money; it’s not about money or looks, it’s about your heart and your head.

"So, for me o, I have to be in the person’s heart and the person’s head."

PoliticsTinubu Lavishes $2m On Donald Trump’s Hotel Suite by aproko247(op): 3:20pm On Apr 23, 2013
www.aproko247.com/?p=2584

The Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom and Asiwaju of Lagos, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on the move again as he has taken his quest for the best that money could buy to the next level.

A close source to the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) leader revealed that the likeable politician is now the temporary ‘landlord’ of a suite in the elitist Donald Trump Plaza in Chicago, USA.

“You know that Asiwaju owns many properties across the world, including Chicago, where he once lived for many years, he has now decided to move a step further by shelling out $2 million on a prestigious suite in the plaza to enable him have more time for his schedule.

You know 2015 is around the corner and being a major player in who gets what, he has to start planning, it is not everything you do from your home, one needs a serene place to do this.

And many more, including meetings with some world leaders and there is no better place to do this than the kind of environment a personality like Donald Trump revels in.

“If you think money can’t buy you happiness, my friend, you don’t know where to stop, Tinubu is a man of great taste and standard, hence his decision to part with $2m, which to him is nothing compared to the kind of status and returns it will bring to him,” said a source.

The hotel itself is strategically located by the river side; this is where he now meets with the high and mighty.

Our source disclosed that it is a yearly agreement that gives him a propriety right as the owner of the suite.

The hotel cannot lodge another guest in that suite whether he’s around or not though he may be subjected to other minor taxes and maintenance costs.

We gathered that a $2 million property is a
big deal by American standard, which is enough to raise eyebrow even from the government.

Our investigations revealed that Bola Tinubu acquired the suite after his rumoured attempt at buying President Barrack Obama’s house in Hyde Park, Chicago failed.

President Obama was said to have instructed that the house should on no account be sold to a third world leader or politician due largely to their corrupt practices or wrongful manner of amazing wealth.

‘The modest home is located at Hyde Park, the park is where the University of Chicago is located, Tinubu would’ve made a strong
statement if the deal had gone through, but for Obama,” our source said.

Apparently, President Obama doesn’t need the inevitable controversy and scandal that is bound to follow such a sale.

‘You realize that as a junior senator from
Illinois in 2006, he called Nigeria a failed state,’ said the source.

Further investigations revealed that President Obama’s action was not directly aimed at Tinubu, but just to show his annoyance at the level of decay in Africa and his apparent level of most third world nations.

“Obama has some level of respect for Tinubu, hence his decision to meet him over breakfast in Ghana not long after his first inauguration.

You can also recall that Tinubu was one of the opposition leaders that graced his inauguration,” our source added.

TV/MoviesCrisis In AIT As Workers Plan To Close Down Station by aproko247(op): 4:54pm On Mar 28, 2013
If information reaching Aproko247 is
anything to go by, then Raymond Dokpesi,
the Chairman of Daar Communications,
owners of AIT and Raypower FM, is in for
a big trouble.
This is because some of his workers are
furious with him over what they call
‘suffering unbearable no more.’ Digs done
by Aproko247 unearthed that the
management of the station has allegedly
made life unbearable for them (workers)
as they no longer enjoy what other human
beings enjoy. We learnt that the crisis has
affected many families of the workers.
Sources divulged to us that cases of most
junior level workers of the organisation
are just like the saying in the local
parlance ‘monkey dey work, baboon dey
chop.’
As sources claimed, top management
staffs allegedly get over N2million every
year for wardrobe and house allowances
while salaries of junior workers dating
back to 2009 are still unpaid.
We now hear that some of the staffs of
AIT have been ejected from their houses,
their children driven away from schools,
hospital bills now very difficult to pay due
to accrued debts because of non payment
of their salaries.
What has reportedly become more
terrible in the matter is that some senior
management staffs were alleged to have
told Dokpesi that all is well with the
company’s staffs. The top staffs were also
alleged to be living large which is the same
picture they are allegedly painting to
Dokpesi about the junior staffs of the
organisation.
A source told Aproko247 Dokpesi does not
know about the plights of the workers
because some management staffs
allegedly don’t tell him the true picture of
things.
The situation is reportedly terribly bad as
we now hear that some workers are
planning to shut down the station until
their plights are looked into by the
management.
A source divulged to Aproko247 that the
planned shut down of the media house will
hold in a matter of days. But details of the
planned action were not disclosed to us so
as not to jeopardise the action.
Calls put through to Tony Akiotu, the GMD
of the company, were not responded to as
at press time.

CelebritiesDavido’s Shocker: I Left Asa Asika Because He Wasn’t Matured by aproko247(op): 3:11pm On Mar 28, 2013
The real reason for the split between Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, and his former manager, Asa Asika, has been revealed.

Speaking recently on a Channels TV programme, Davido disclosed that the main reason he parted ways with the young Asika was because he (Asika) was immature.

The superstar singer also explained that he left Asika’s management because they had “different views and issues,” adding that “we just had to go apart.”

Continuing, the son of Deji Adeleke, a billionaire businessman from Osun State, said, “we started this whole thing together and moved it to a certain level.”

“I felt I needed a more matured management,” Davido further explained. He (Davido), however, maintained that, “he (Asika) is still my friend anytime.”

CelebritiesPHOTONEWS: Police Kill 2 NSCDC Officers In Lagos, Release Oil Vandals by aproko247(op): 10:58am On Mar 27, 2013
Police in Lagos State have allegedly shot dead two officers of the Lagos State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.

The incident reportedly occurred at about 3am on Wednesday when men of the Nigeria Police allegedly ambushed and opened fire on men of the anti-vandal squad of the NSCDC.

Two officers of the corps reportedly died on the spot while others escaped with gunshot wounds.

Aproko247 reliably gathered that the attack happened around Ikorodu, Lagos State, where men of the NSCDC had gone for an anti-vandal operation overnight and were returning with their spoils.

Aproko247 further gathered that officers of the corps had arrested some oil vandals when the police attacked them and allegedly freed the oil thieves.

It was also further alleged that the vandals had called the police who then came to their rescues when they could not overpower the NSCDC.

Aproko247 contacted Ngozi Braide, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, to comment on the matter but she was not available to speak to us as at press time. One of her aides who spoke to us declined to comment on the issue.

The aide asked us to call back as Braide was said to be in a meeting as at the time we called.

EducationPHOTONEWS: OOU Students Shut Down School, VC Missing by aproko247(op): 2:54pm On Mar 18, 2013
On Sunday, Aproko247 reported a story of a planned protest to be staged on Monday by students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.

As early as 8am on Monday, students of the school and their union representatives, reportedly stormed the school’s main gain to prevent any student from going into the university campus.

We also got reports that the usual buses and cars plying the school’s campus were not allowed inside as the school’s main gate leading into the permanent site, popularly called PS by the students, was shut.

The students are protesting one of the policies of the acting VC the students described as ‘too harsh’. The acting VC, Prof Saburi Adesanya, reportedly said any student that fails to pay school fees of any session stands to repeat such session.

The students have viewed the move as repetition of a class practised in primary and secondary institutions.

CelebritiesNSCDC Boss Interview: Lawyer Accuses Channels TV Of Unprofessionalism by aproko247(op): 9:32am On Mar 16, 2013
The Executive Director, Center for the Rule of Law, CENTROLAW, Barrister Olasupo Ojo, has accused Channels TV of unprofessionalism over an interview it conducted with the Lagos State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Obafaiye Shem.

In the interview, which has been flying around most social media, the NSCDC boss was unable to completely recite the Corps’ official website.

Reacting to the embarrassment the controversial interview may have caused the NSCDC officer, Barr Ojo said, “we sincerely feel the show was deliberately designed and hatched to destroy than to build,” adding that, “rather than assist their guest to inform their viewing public that the website of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps is nscdc.gov.ng, the Channels crew wasted quality time to dwell on exposing their guest as ignorant of the website address which I believe has been visited by the Channels crew themselves before the program.”

Reacting further, Ojo stressed that, “it was obvious that the guest needed help with the website address yet the Channels crew failed to manage the program professionally and assist their guest.”

He also accused Channels TV of choosing, “to bash the image of the NSCDC officer who apparently believes more in action on the field than gazing into a computer monitor.

“The inability of the officer to recite the website address on a TV program should not be used to judge the NSCDC whose positive impact on public security has been on the increase lately,” Ojo maintained.

He added, “I urge the NSCDC not to do its job or blow its trumpet in or rely on the media which can be destructive.

Rather, let NSCDC action continue to speak louder than the Media and let the PR officers do their work of reporting the achievements.

“There is need to check the evolution of the NSCDC. It is not the Police. They were like “menscouts” until recently when they were given more responsibilities. All the oldies cannot be wiped off suddenly.

The police is undergoing its own silent revolution. The savvy ones are coming up gradually. Same with governance in Nigeria.”

He concluded by saying that, “killing or sacking the man is not the solution. More education is needed. The Channels crew could have risen to the occasion.”

CelebritiesAit/raypower Staffs Languish In Pain As Dokpesi Owes 2009 Salaries by aproko247(op): 5:55pm On Mar 05, 2013
Source: www.aproko247.com/?p=1119

Some members of staff of Nigeria’s first private broadcast station, Africa Independent Television, AIT, and Raypower FM, both owned by Daar Communications, manned by High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, are presently wining and dining with pain and anguish over unpaid salaries.

Aproko247 got from good authorities within the media house that most members of staff of the two stations don’t find life bearable anymore as they have grown pile of debts.

Impeccable sources divulged to Aproko247 that some of the staffs have turned to ‘executive beggars’. This has now forced them to send a ‘Save Our Soul’, SOS, letter to the chairman and Chief Executive of the company, Chief Dokpesi, to pay up their salary arrears, which we reliably learnt, dates back to 2009.

Aproko247 confirmed that some staffs are being owed 2009 November and December salaries by the organisation.

Interestingly, the company, as at Monday, March 4, 2013, paid the salary arrears of August 2012.

In an SOS retrieved by Aproko247, the “hungry Daar [Comms] staffs” appealed to Dokpesi to pay their salaries as “a hungry man is an angry lion.”

Calls and SMS to Tony Akiotu, the Group Managing Director, GMD, of Daar Communication by Aproko247 were not responded to as at press time.

Below is the SOS letter written to Dokpesi on the matter.

AN SOS LETTER FOR PAYMENT OF LONG OVERDUE SALARY ARREAS

We heartily congratulate you sir on the establishment of many stations within and outside the country. We also pray that those in pipeline would come to reality in Jesus name. More grease to you elbow.

Sir, we found it very necessary to write you personally as the Executive Chairman of Daar Communications plc who authorises employment, termination and disengagement of staff, to have a passionate concern on our plight to kindly approve immediate payment of our long overdue salaries which span between ten(10) to twelve months as the case maybe in Radio and TV services(staff) (i.e 2009 and 2012 salaries arrears).

Sir, we have absolutely become very bad and regular debtors as a result of none payment by your organisation (Daar Communications plc) to our landlords, school proprietors and hospital managements.

Some of our children now ask questions, “daddy why is your salary not paid every time”. Because they hear us tell their teachers.

Sir, some staff now also group themselves as AIT staff every term to plead for more time to pay school fees. Alas! This is not too good for staff of a growing company like yours.

Sir, after the recent organisational restructuring (retrenchment of staff without payments) of Dec 31st. 2012, staff have been expecting that at least August and September of 2012 salaries would be paid after Xmas and New Year expenses rather information has it that August 2012 Salary would not be paid until march 2013. And true to it February 2013 is almost running out and you didn’t see any reason to pay us any salary till now.

We want to plead that you kindly intervene with your good humanitarian gestures to avert this motive in the interest of our families, children school fees which we have signed an undertaken for. Even for us to concentrate on official job’ “hungry man is an angry lion”

A careful study in the organisation shows that many staff leave below poverty level except few who enjoys trip allowances, regular telephone plus free transport allowances and some who enjoys juicy political programmes presentation and early morning magazine presentation on AIT and Raypower FM etc.

We don’t envy them as fingers are not equal but we humbly request that our salaries be paid up to date at least for us to eat and live comfortably.

Social and economy life of many staff is zero. Due to poor staff welfare , when compare with friends and relatives elsewhere.

Sir, the Daar staffs therefore humbly request that our salaries arrears be paid in earnest.

Once again. We congratulate you, board and management and pray that God gives you the strength and ability to move the company to a greater height with prompt payment of our salaries.

Thank you.

Your hungry staff.
