Is this reporter ok? Is it only in the south east that he noticed that, & isn't he aware that that has been a norm for years, since the menance of armed bandits? Nigerians and silly nagging. If the soldiers don't do so to sterm the excecess of criminality on the interstate border's in which they are mostly stationed, & u are kidndapped & driven uninterupted to their den (by armed gunmen), then, same reporters will say the Govt has failed in protecting its citizens. Or should the soldiers come to ur house to protect u? Funny report. |
Lutherblaq:I simply can not see why grown & experienced politicians can't know when they are conquered. Am mused. |
Almiron:Davido's managers should advice him to stay away from things having to do with enticing women for now. All i see here is another baby mama scandal on his personage by next year. |
Nwodosis:I like ur perspective. Because i don't see how easily possible it is, for a lady of that size to escape through the window of a Toyota Matrix car, without hes neutralizing the armed guys; except they willingly allowed her go. And for those of u blaming the Govt, what has the govt done wrong in this case?, must the police be at every conner of the road?, even if they are, won't we complain abov police excessiveness? Nigerians should be very instinctive about their personal safety, not blamming Govt alone always. Even in the western world we wish to emmulate, such mishaps do happen often. Still praying for a better Nigeria though. |
Tupac Amauru Shakur, is very much alive. |
This is my own opinion. MNK's idea was a national threat, Ekpa's sit-at-home, is a regional threat. So, the SE Gov's hv to tackle it until they admit they hv failed. Op said we should show an igbo man who surports Epka, so who r his foot soldiers, aren't those igbos. If MNK had links previously with Ekpa, i would advice him to during court session or tru his Lawyers, send an open message to his followers to denounce Epka & end the years-long sit-at-home. This will send a positive message to the world. He was mistaken initially, thinking the SAH would enhance his speedy release. Am sure there r forms of plea bargains b4 him there in custody, but he probably won't sign. The igbo group has just placed a $500k Dollars bounty on Epka. So anti SAH igbos should prove themselves, & take out Ekpa. If the fed gvt wades further into the matter, the effect on the SE will be worse. If truly the SE Govs r tired, then let them declare a state of emergency, so the army swoops in on the enforcers of the SAH. |
The moment President Bola Tinubu visited ex-President Buhari in London, it was then i knew that Emiefele wil get an unconditional pardon, though after a plea bargain behind the scene. As far as Malami, then Minister of justice was not arrested, then, that case was mean't to die naturally. Malami, was the chief actor in all the actions of Emiefele. Bawa (efcc), & Emiefele, were only acting Malami's script. Truthfully, there was no Buhari (if u knw u knw). |
It takes not just mental fitness during weaponry training; but a high level of self dicipline to be in steady possesion of a gun, & not one day misuse it (especially for robbery). |
Every well thinking Nigerian knew already, that he has been incapacitated. It's just the power that be (within his family), won't hand over to Lucky (his deputy). Its quite a shame on the State House of Assembly, for not invoking the needful clause. |
How time flies... MT TURA 11 , HOLAB MARITIME SERVICE LIMITED at marine road Apapa, formally owned by a trio of Henry (who later broke out), James, & Sunny . Hmmm the story behind that vessel is broad. It was formaly known as MT ALIRIZABAY (a water tanker), before it was bought over by HOLAB, and used for MGO. But a similar incident caused its change of name back in 2013.Before you start quoting me, note; i was an active crew on that boat back in the early days of HOLAB. May God see them through. |
People should know how to walk out of a relationship, or talk to a counselor, especially when your partner begings to get obsessed with you in the relationship. The obsession, if not seriously stemmed, could turn the partner into a state of frenzy. What a cruel way to exit the human world. |
Ubeji, Warri south, is a coded business district, close to the Warri Refinery. It is a new site, where new rich ones are flocking in to buy or build houses, also hosts a petroluem depo, a hausa community, & sort of 'safe heaven' to internet frausters & scammers generally. So, in such a lucrative place, some young ladies of low virtue tripped in to try make an easy living by what they know best (commercial sex). In as much as i don't side the treatment metted out on them by the community, but the girls there should be seriously cautioned. Their quest for their game there is getting alarming even in broad day light. And to the men, remember, that such biz only thrives where there's attention from customers. |
When you understand men, it gives you superpowers (with men), & though men can be frustrating, understanding men will give you a sense of freedom from your worries in a relationship. Understanding men is something that many women resist, subconsciously or consciously. Stated here, are two basic ways to understand a man. 1) Put yourself in his shoes & try to really feel what he values in his life. 2) You learn more about the reproductive agenda & the thought process of the male species- because it's different to yours as a woman. Also... * Learn his strengths & weaknesses. * Find out about his values & belief system. * Take note of his body language. * Keep an open healthy line of communications. * Understand your own feelings. * Cool down before you two talk. * Listen when he talks. * Rephrase what he says to you. Men are wired to take information objectively. TBC... |
Money is the fuel that drives the engine of dreams. One of the primary motivations in the live of any person is the desire for financial independence. People want to have enough money to be able to stop worring about money. Acquiring & keeping money requires a proper attitude toward the commodity of money & few basic behaviours that have proven to be successful over the years. In psychology, a worry about money is often referred to as a "deficiency need." In fact, nobody thinks more about money than poor people. A person who believes he doesn't have enough money to secure his life, to adequately provide for his family or pursue his reasonable dreams is the person who will be obsessed with money. Arguments over money- the lack of it & what to do with the limitf resources at hand- are one of the primary issues behind marital strife & divorce. Money is not good or evil; it is a commodity, a "thing" of its own. It is nothing more or nothing less than a tool in the hands of the one who holds it. .....TBC |

"If you are through learning, you're through." New knowledge & the application of that new knowledge is always the beginning of any new chapter in your life. "It's what you learn after you know it all that counts." |
The diference between happiness & "Joy", is more like that of job, from "Work". But yes! To a good extent, money brings happiness, by making life in marriage more comfortable, but truly, Joy is not what money can bring to the home. Marriage needs its basic reasons; first, love & procreation. Second is money (help meet). Third, & often negleted, is Wisdom. Wisdom is blended with the first initialy, then money brings not just happiness, but Joy (peace of mind). Ultimately, you even need wisdom to spend money in marriage. If you want your marriage to "sizzle", you must accumulate & apply the knowledge ynu need in order to understand your mate & to meet his or her needs, so that your mate, in turn, will happily meet all of yours. |
If you want your business to rise above the fray, you must "see" something that nobody else sees & then act upon that discovery in a way nobody else is acting. If you want your church to grow & truly impact the world, you must step out of the corral of predictability & do something that will command the attention of both God & man. Rise above the predictable & mundane. Make a decision that will multiply your understanding by actually applying what you learn. Everything in life which you desire, will be attained through your aquisition of wisdom or lost through its neglet. Wisdom, is that "little key" that unlocks the excellence in everything we do with our lives. Apostle Paul Eshiet. For private counseling & prayer, check my contacts below. |
The fact of the matter is that even Jesus, did not initiate His earthly work among men until when He was approximately 30yrs old. So from the time this observation was made about Him, while He was 12yrs old (Luke 2:42-52), He spent an additional 18yrs growing & learning before He finally stepped out into His destiny. Becoming wise is not a quick process, but a steady, methodical, daily process of learning. Like any foundation, wisdoms' foundation must be built. It must be carefully laid, & it takes time. You must gradually & incrementally learn what you need to know, & then discipline yourself to apply what you hv managed to learn. If you want your relationship/marriage to "sizzle", you must accumulate & apply the knowlege you need in order to understand your mate & to meet his or her needs, so that your mate, in turn, will happily meet all of yours. No matter what you do, even in prayer, "wisdom", is the basis of all success (miracles). Afterall, faith, without works, is dead". TBC... |
Under all, is wisdom. Wisdom, is about mental, spiritual & social growth. Growth in these important areas of life requires a deliberate & purposeful effort. Without wisdom, nobody achieves greatness in any form. Wisdom, is the foundation under the feet of great aciievers. Real growth consist of increasing ones knowledge each day, each hr, & each minute, & applying that information to real life in a way that changes ones behaviour & thus the outcome of ones life. Wisdom, therefore, is more than a thing; Wisdom is an action. The pursuit of wisdom, is the deliberate application of what we learn. So, even though a person might hv an abundance of facts in his head, he lacks wisdom if he hasn't successfully applied those facts to life. Biblicaly buttressed in "be ye doers of the word, & not hearers..."(James 1:22), & "A wise man will hear, & increase learning..."(Prov 1:5). Wisdom is nothing more or less than the accumulation & application of knowledge. A lack of information & application is bad problem. TBC... |
Kobojunkie:Wheneves i see (not read) ur comments on threads, junking about religous/spiritual matters, & checking ur age in both nairaland & real-life, it reminds me of a japanese proverb... "Experience, should wisely fear the strength of youth." Personally, i noticed that people avoid ur thing. So i'll do same. |

From a biblical perspective, the Bible never used the word "stupid" or "stupidity," but the various writers of the scriptures did talk about foolishness. King Solomon, in particular, had a great deal to say about fools. In his mind & in the minds of the other biblical writers, a fool was someone who knew the truth, yet lived his life contrary to it in the unfounded hope that somehow, he could defy the odds & become the first human being to prosper by ignoring the obvious. Solomon often spoke about the fool in the pages of Proverbs, but James, the brother of Jesus, probably summarized the fool best in James 1:24-24 (NIV). Supidity (or foolishness), of course, is the opposite of wisdom. Everything that wisdom is, stupidity isn't. And everything that wisdom isn't, stupidity is. Stupid is as stupid does. A "stupid" person is a person who lacks intelligence, or common sense. His actions violate his goals. He looks truth in the face & yet rejects it. Apostle Paul Eshiet. So, in conclusion... Let your imagination take control. Your imagination is that part of you that makes you different from everybody else, & the thing that makes you different is the thing that will make you great. So, don't go down that pathway of mediocrity. Don't fall into that trap of common thinking. Your dreams are precious & unique, & they were given to you by God. God can help you move your dreams from the realm of ideas into the realm of reality, but you must become His partner in the effort. And in that effort, your imagination is your greatest ally.
