Jhn 2:3 Mary had to have inquired and found out that there was no wine. Since she couldn't provide the wine out of her own means, she told Jesus about. We learn here that it is necessary we ask after the well being of others, see how we can be of help to them, put a smile on someone's face, say a prayer for them and show love to them. Don't only be concernes with the welfare of your family and yourself. Think about others too.

Which 80%?? If there are Christians around you who are ashamed of going to church just because they have their Bible in hardcopy, know that they have misplaced priorities! Must everyone take a tablet to Church- na competition?

@ OP, I prefer having the hardcopy in church. After the service is over, you can do further indepth study on what the pastor taught on your tablet, iPad, iPhone and the likes. You would miss out on what the pastor is saying if you decide to do an elaborate study there and then while the service is on. This is just my preference. It should be whatever works for you, but try making a selfless decision-if you know what I mean.

Having a good conscience with God does not mean you do not sin, but you genuinely repent of your sins when you do. Well, a lot has been said about the topic. May God help us to live as holy as a sinner saved by grace can ever be on this earth.

LOL. I've wondered about it and asked the question too. After the Grace everyone recover their seats firmly. It's like we're waiting for the other person to make a move before we do. Sometimes, I don't send, I'm the person who makes the move.

I think it's becoming a tradition, but means nothing really.

Finally, no matter how bad your background is, whether you've committed several abortions, whether you duped people of their hard earned money, or you murdered or hurt people in one way or the other, or no matter how low you esteem yourself, no matter how slow you think you are in reasoning, abi whatever! Reading vs 40, after Andrew had followed Jesus (by guidance from the HolySpirit, you will know when it's time to move ahead, when it's time to take a huge step in your business, ministry or life), the FIRST THING he did was to find his brother, Simon. Don't we still have family members who are yet to know Jesus, are we doing something about that? I pray that by His Grace we would be able to bring as many loved ones as possible to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

He gave me power to become the daughter of God for as long as I believe in His name. Full of grace and truth, He gently but firmly let's me see His Light (the truth) when I'm about stepping into darkness (by doing the wrong thing). Even when I still stubbornly refuse to listen and go and mess things up, His Grace covers me. I'm hidden under His Shadow. Not condemned by the Law given by Moses.

Not just this o, of His fullness I've received (vs 16). D'u knw wht it means to be the child of a King- the favour, the respect, the power, even the food you receive. Now you're the child to the Supreme King, no one(not even that deceptive bully called Satan) can bully you, you even munch on the Bread of Life, sickness, pains, fear are beneath you! I mean, you have the One who's shoe's latchet man is unworthy to unloose by your side(vs 27). What more could you ask for?

So here's an exhortation on Jn 1. I couldn't help but smile when reading the first 5 verses. Jesus is awesome! Do ya'll knw? He was there at the beginning, the Word who's God, Creator of all. He is Life and He's the kind of Light that Darkness cannot comprehend-Blinding, Glorious Light. When I'm feeling depressed and all gloomy, thinking I've done something so awful that He'll never take me back, He just goes and does something that Lights my face up uncontrollably either through His Word or deeds.
