The forms are the Merchant Application forms and the representative sends it to you when you submit the application request on the website. The reason for this is for you to be able to communicate with lhpay about your business before investing your money with lhpay. It's a good thing for we to know ourselves before doing business.

Also there is a daily limit of $10,000. The limit only apply if you are funding your LHPAY account. But no limits if receiving money from customers.

I am trying to figure out what the difference will be on your LHPay system when I fund my account and when I receive money from customers. Can the funding be from PayPal account and can my customers send me PayPal funds directly to my LHPay account? How will your system differentiate the money received from my customers from the one I funded by myself since it is only a single LHPay account balance?

You can still make your forms available on your site for merchants rather than a representative emailing later in fact, the form can even become the online form that your merchants will fill and submit during online registration while supporting documents submission follows for verification purpose.

I ordered an Item worth 6kg, when it arrived Lagos, I was asked to pay $40+ another 2,400 and that their exchange rate for the day was 220.

The worst part was the dumorage which according to them starts after 2day at #300 per night.


Normally, Nonnikings charges $5.5 for normal service and my charge should have been $33 [6kg], but they insisted on $40. The $40 was not even the issue. My problem was, 'where the hell did 2,400 emanated from'?


I called to know why I was asked to pay additional $7 instead of $33 + another 2,400. The lady said let her check her record. By the time I called 5mins back, she said they had closed for the day.

2days later, they called me to know my residence and I told them Port-Harcourt. He said ok and cut the call.

2days later (saturday), I got a text to call Mr. Tunde for my goods coming to Port-Harcourt.

So I went to the driver's Office in Port-Harcourt with 15k to pick my Item cos I hadn't paid a dime for shipping from Korea to Nigeria as I was to pay on Arrival.

Lol and behold, when I got there, God performed Miracle.

I asked the store keeper how much was my bill cos I expected it to cost atleast 14k including transportation charge from Lagos Port-Harcourt.

He carried the carton to weigh it and discovered it was not heavy. He said I should give him 500 naira. without wasting much time, I gave him JUST #500 and left Immediately.

Where the mistake came from, I don't know and never want to know.

I almost reconsidered my actions but the thought of how CRUEL, WICKED and BAD their customer was made my not to.

Up till today, I have not heared from them.

The wanted to cheat me, BUY MY GOD CHEATED THEM.

I don't intend using Nonnikings again in my life. I would rather use DHL.

The same day payment means that LHPay would send your money to your bank that same day! It then depends on your bank to credit your account that same day or a couple of days later. Due to the fact that its in a foreign currency, it might not be same day exactly you receive the cash in your bank account but, its that day LHPay would send it.


LHPay supports all banks in its supported Regions. As such, as long as the bank is in the Supported Region of LHPay, then LHPay can send payments to that bank account.



Like i stated earlier, LHPay earns its profit from the transaction charges imposed on each transaction. Using the $100 example. When you make a payment to LHPay(Fund Deposit) using PayPal, LHPay would receive the Net Amount in its PayPal account that means its not $100. Lets say, $89.8 or so. Then, in that $89.8, LHPay would then charge its own transaction charge of $2.89 + 5.5% so in this $100 example, the Merchant would end up having $81.98 in his LHPay account. Then at the time of Withdrawal, the Merchant should expect about $75 due to bank wire charges as LHPay's bank would charge for the wire to the Nigerian Domiciliary account from Cyprus Unless its a GTBank Domiciliary account then NO FEES As LHPay is also working hard to incorporate fully in Nigeria and it is also working with some banks like GTBank.

Regarding Naira Payments, If its a GTBank account, the Naira Equivalent according to standard bank rate as at time of withdrawal would be sent with no extra charges deducted. For other banks, a small fee is charged due to the fact that LHPay has to send the payment to a Nigerian entity first, before the entity then sends to the Merchant in Naira.

Regarding the PayPal partnership aspect, all i can say is that LHPay has sought the permission of PayPal to run the service and it has been running for the past 4 months effectively.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. You earlier said that a representative would send certain forms to LHPay registered merchant. Why not having the form downloadable or accessible in the registered members' area of your website instead? Do you have maximum limit you can handle for your merchants with respect to this service in whatever currency? For instance, can you handle $15,000 per day or the equivalent?

Just to be clear, getting the funds out would be in Dollar as we send payments in Dollar or Euro. Nothing else! But, for your own comfort, we can send your payment in Naira if you so desire!

I like the fact that you are offering to pay in dollars or euro aside the choice of Naira by your merchants unlike onlinenaira that pays only in naira. But then, will the same day payment you promised also work for dollar and euro remittances? What if the account I want you to remit the fund to is not domiciled in Nigeria but outside? You said you are partnering with PayPal on this service. Is that statement verifiable from PayPal? Finally, since you said you carry out this exchange service at standard bank rate, is there a way for your merchants to know how much to expect on withdrawal from the amount they put in their LHPay account, using $100 for example? Do you pay net or gross of PayPal fund sent to LHPay and will I get that amount (e.g. $100) in my bank account if I give you Nigerian domiciliary account or you have another fees/charges calculations to make/deduct before paying me the balance in dollar, euro or naira depending on choice?

I had actually paid for the 30,000 mAh I saw on a Nigerian site before I started searching US websites and I saw 52,000 mAh power bank for laptops but it was not solar type. I think it was on buy.com, eBay, Amazon and refurb4less.com I searched that very day. Try and search them too.

yea, i have been to UBA bank. They asked me to write a letter because of that, which i did. Then after weeks, i tried again 2day, i stil got the same Message.

I guess it may be only their MasterCard that will work on PayPal. A branch asking you to write letter for such complain is an indication of the outcome you got. Next time, contact customer service by phone or email to know if they can help or if it works at all with their card.

Even aside that, for most new supplier I normally use Nonikings for payment.
After subsequent deals and reliable product then I choose western union cos it's cheaper compared to the rates paid to agent @ conversion

Name search N500, Registration N19k for Ltd but there are other things to do offline that will cost additional money like court or notary public attestation and stamp duty. Check another thread here where someone stated out the registration fees for all categories including business name registration (sole proprietorship), limited liability company, NGOs, etc.

I doubt if you can really control that but rather depend on the trust of early buyers. This is because if you make it downloadable after payment on your website, it will still take the trust of early buyers not to share their legally bought copy with their friends. If you make it on DVD and sell by postage, just think of entertainment DVDs out there in the market. It still depends on buyers not violating copyright rule. They may still show or share it with their family. The only way I have seen once was a UK website that sold real eBook to me in 2008/9. The document with its embedded videos have login and password to open after payment and downloading before you can read it on your computer. I thought that was all and I could open to read on another system but each requires log on again and validation by their system before you can view. It was real eBook and not the usual PDF we buy and download these days. But then, it still boils down to me not sharing my login and password with others after getting the access.I even tried to snip each page so that I won't need to login each time before reading but not possibly with the embedded videos.

Hello, when you did to China, did you get the product you paid for? I often see good offers from Chinese websites and suppliers but they usually require Western Union or Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) payment. So I usually doubt if they are for real or scam. That was why I fell for that "eloride" scammer guy (Adaeze Worlu Desmond) who claimed to be in China and verifying products in person. What's your experience like paying for item by Western Union?

Go to any First Bank close to you and you must have current account before you will be allow to send money out of Nigeria shore. That is all, make sure you keep your confirmation receipt/form safe till your receiver cash out the money.

Your post here shows that Neteller can now post the card directly to Nigeria contrary to what some said in another thread. I think you should just wait for it like Payoneer card usually comes from US by post. That also depends on the reliability of postal system in your locality. If Post Office does not deliver in your street usually, then you may need to visit there to check their genera dump postage basket/shelf for yours. That's why I used my Ikoyi PO Box to receive Payoneer card. All of them would take like 10-14 days to reach Nigeria first before getting to your location.

It didn't cost me a dime because the UK address I received from is my company office address there and they just forwarded it to me with regular company letters. I can see from the op here that Neteller is now posting directly to Nigeria.
