That law in Iran has been there since forever. Why did he break the law? He flew all the way from America to Iran to break their well established law. Are there no more Americans that need to hear the "word"

Indeed, whether animals can be homosexuals or not is a debate for another day.

Secondly, this argument only comes up when someone argues that homosexuality is abnormal and nature doesn't endorse it.

Deep Sight: No one can "ban" homose.xuality. . .in the same way as no one can ban BDSM practices. People will still do whatever they want in their bedrooms. Will you put cameras in every bedroom? Impossible. The issue rather the question of gay marriage: namely: legal recognition of such unions with the rights attached thereto.

I completely agree with you when you say homosexuality cannot be "banned". However, I was responding to the post I quoted. It only makes me sick when someone can easily judge someone else due to their sexual orientation and nothing else.


I might also make a suggestion that religious grounds should be defined clearly (and probably avoided) in this debate.

If someone is quoting Sodom and Gomorrah as a reason that homosexuality is bad, we cant have a quality intellectual debate

cogitoErgo: I dont agree at all that God created anybody to be gay. Look at us, male with his organ and female with her organ and those organs are for specific functions, if God wanted gays then t would have created, regularly, men and women without organs.

There is really no point sticking to one side of the argument without actually going to search for answers and avoiding prejudice. While homosexuality might seem abnormal to the average observer, nature has in its own way made this attribute part of life. We see homosexual behavior in not only Humans but a number of other animals from Dolphins to bonobos( and yes, I did choose dolphin and bonobos cause the exhibit high levels of "consciousness" compared to other animals and also because they have intercourse just for fun like us). If you then tell me that homosexuality is not an inborn trait but a choice, then you might also explain why this behavior is present with the listed animals?

Nature is one very strange phenomena and no one claims to completely understand it. When someone is born and he/she has the hots for people of the same sex, you cant simply judge them by your standards. I can understand if it is banned in your Holy Book, but you cant use the teachings of your book on everyone else. Not everyone believes in it you know?

Am happy that all informed atheists are in agreement on the one fact that all bible stories could be traced and proven to have happened in history. In Numbers 21, God was leading Isreal out of Egypt, In the wilderness the people spoke against God and his servant. God sent fiery serpents among the people so that much of them died. When they confessed thier sins, God forgave them and provided for them a way out. God's solution was for Moses to make a fiery serpent and put on a pole. If a serpent bit anyone afterwards AND HE LOOKED UP TO THE POLE, he survived. Now that's beyond logic or illogical as you will prefer to put it. But it was God's method nonetheless. If anyone chose not to look up after being bitten by a snake probably because the solution was 'simplistic', he died.
God in his characteristic way has made Jesus the answer to all of man need. All he requires you to do is believe. He won't come down from heaven neither will he release someone from hell. In fact you might not get the privilede of a "damascus road experience". But believing leads to life and not believing leads to death. The ball is in your court.

As it is, probably only Dinosaurs and animals that lived more than 200 million years ago would have seen Pangaea. Earliest forms of human beings are somewhere less than 100 thousand years. At this point, the continents would look pretty much similar to what we see now (bar a few small Islands).

You under estimate the ancient guys way too much. Archaeology has shown us the oldest sea going ship ever found was in Egypt and is around 4000 years old.

I don't see why it is impossible (or rather there is no evidence to confirm) for them to build boats and cross over.

Mind you, they only made short Island hops. The longest distance would be from the south of Indonesia to Papua new guinea or Australia

Mind you, Alaska links up with Siberia in fierce winter.. So they wouldn't need a boat here.

Dont need fairy tales in any book to tell me this is possible or not. A simple observation of the world map will leave you with easy conclusions. Problem with the bible story is, there isn't enough time for human beings to diversify like we have over the years.

Different different versions of the multiverse idea float around. If you bothered to look, you'll find them. One of which is the idea that multiverse coexists at different "frequencies" in the same location. getting "tuned" to the right frequency will expose you to the "right" universe. Just in the same way there are thousands of radio waves running around you where u sit and type this now. Tune in to the right frequency and you can hear a nice Jazz tune playing of someone reading the news. These are all simple ideas, what you would call an educated guess. No one is telling you this is scientific theory.

1. If you are referring to the origin of life, no one knows. There are tonnes of ideas floating around without overwhelming evidence to support it (this includes you are your yaweh idea)

3. I don't know where you learn your science from . In mathematics, what you are trying to say is If A=B, then C must be = B? (when you obviously ignore the fact that there is no link between C and A). Again, when you attribute organisation to evolution, it still exposes you as having no idea what it is.


I don't know why you cant get it in your head. Evolution is NOT the problem (there is overwhelming evidence to support it), rather the only problem is the origin of life itself. Accept evolution today and live a happier life
