Where u are wrong sir, 4matic is a trim, not an option. For options, u can twerk options wen buying d car brand new.
Another wrong assertion i made; for 2013 n 2014, C300 is 3.5L and not 3.0L. Same as d C350 which is also 3.5L. Although dis C350 has abt 302hp as against d 248hp of d C300.

Yeah.. I think I mixed up trims there too.. missed out the base trim.. and yeah.. the 300 has the same engine as the 350.. but Mercedes restricted the 300 electronically to a lower hp. My understanding was that it was done cos of the 4matic of the 300. But now I know that c350 coupe is also 4matic.. so my thinking was wrong..

First, do u really know what 4matic means? Means d vehicle has a driving shaft in front, like Toyota n Honda,.......and u call dat an option dat can be added by d buyer? Are u even aware dt d shock absorbers n legs for d 4matic trim is different frm dos of d Luxury n Sport trim?
I bet u also dont know dat for w203 and w204 (pre-facelift), d 4matic trim is 5speed whereas d Luxury n Sport trim is 7speed.
Mercedes-Benz w203 and w204 have 3 trims for dir v6 engines; 4matic, Luxury, and Sport (AMG body kit only,.....not pure breed AMG)
Secondly, nothing like standard C300 or standard C350. They both av d same engine, same chasis, same transmission, and same options etc. Only difference btwn dem is in d engine displacement (ie 'size of cylinder). C300 is a 3.0L, whereas d C350 is a 3.5L. because of d higher engine displacement, d C350 has a higher horse power rating (at least 268hp, C300 wont pack more dan 230hp),and therefore its a faster car dan d C300.
Lastly, pls consult google. If u data to cum argue on Nairaland, u sure av data to consult google.....

This year of c class comes with either sports or luxury (trim)
With either trim.. you can have 4matic or not..

They both have standard features. On the c300, 4matic comes as standard.. on the 350, not..
When you contact Mercedes to buy either.. they'll give you optional extras.. on the 350, 4matic is one of the options..

To solve our disagreement.. show me one c300 of this year without 4matic..I'll respectfully concede if you do..
for my position.. the c350 in this post is not 4matic..

Yes.. 4matic is auto 4wd.. just like xdrive on bmw. 4motion on vw and Quattro on Audi..

For the record.. I do own a 2013 c300 sports 4matic..and a close friend owns a 350 sports without 4matic..
