We need not get agitated over the shortlist / update mails sent. I did not receive the mail, but I have gotten admissions in Cranfield University, Robert Gordon University and University of Aberdeen all in the UK and all PTDF affiliated. However, for those who didn't get the mail sent last week, we can only be hopeful. When the mails for the time and dates starts coming in, then we can conclude and move on.

You can defer the scholarship, in fact, most cases with ptdf deferral is a necessity because of how slow their process is. Some schools offer automatic deferral and some schools require you to apply for it which they may reject.

Of course. Especially if you want to retain hopes of resuming in September this year. The final list probably wont come out until the end of July, and thats me being optimistic. Admission for some schools may have been closed by then, most top schools are already closing. Then factor the time it takes to process admission, plus CAS, plus PTDF Bureaucracy and Visa. Best to already have a few admission letters in place.
