Enr. Onu and Chief Chuba Okadigbo were the strongest opposition leaders in SE since our return to Democracy. So it isn't a surprise if he command such respect.
In my opinion, Engr. Onu and Tinubu should be respected highly for their resilience, commitment, and perseverance for withstanding and surviving the atrocities and undemocratic treatment of PDP especially under OBJ regime. Kudos to them for surviving the storm and making opposition party a ruling party in Nigeria today!

In a multiparty democracy there is no reason for insisting on zonal or tribal Presidency.

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) is the apex Islamic authority in Nigeria.

The leadership of the NSCIA includes the President-General, two Deputies President-General for the North and South (with the Shehu of Borno as the permanent Deputy President-General for the North), Secretary-General, Deputy Secretary-General, National Treasurer, National Legal Adviser, Deputy National Legal Adviser and Chairmen of the 36 states and FCT Councils of the NSCIA.
