am a mechanical engr and i applied for the post of principal engineer under ppu dept. I was called on friday evening and second day sent a text. Its not security wise for me to post d number that called or texted me.i guess its in batches. Wishing u all d best

got a text message at about 11am today to come get my appointment letter next week. Anyone with similar news?

i received a call from the school telling me that i av been offered employment, when i asked when i should come for my letter, i was told i will be contacted again when the letter is ready.has anyone also received similar call?

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the appointment of Engineer Isa Joseph and Engineer Abubakar Yaro Ibrahim as the sole administrators for the moribund Ajaokuta Steel Company and National Iron Mining Company (NIOMCO) respectively.

A statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday, revealed that the appointments were announced by the Minister of Mines and Steel Development Architect Mohammed Musa Sada when he issued the letters of appointment in Abuja, yesterday.
According to Sada the appointments take immediate effect.

Sada said that “Their appointments were on the basis of their experiences and professionalism in the metals sector, and they should be able to bring about the expected turnaround in the two facilities”

According to him, what informed the federal government decision was the need to inject new ideas into the two facilities to make them operate in line with the present dispensation transformation agenda on service delivery”.

He advised the new appointees “to add value to the two companies by making them operational, to select their management teams on the basis of seniority, experience and competence while urging them to carry along the labour unions in the discharge of their duties”.

While the sole administrator for Ajaokuta is an experienced metallurgical Engineer and a top management staff of the company, who hails from Kogi state, his counterpart is Engineer Abubakar Yaro Ibrahim seasoned Mining Engineer from Taraba state

The handing and taking over ceremonies between the new administrators and the former interim management committee on the two companies are expected to be completed within the week.

ol2012: Oga, d academic applicants dat wrote d ICT practical test in Aug were interviewed same day. D test of thur(1st Nov) was d last in d series 4 non academic applicants. Dats why I wanted pple wit contacts in FUOYE 2 update us. So I heard oh! My own contact is a fellow applicant based in Ekiti.

i believe that was because they(the academic staff) were needed urgently...still relax bro

you guys just wrote the test barely a week ago and some people probably are still writing, how do u expect FUOYE to release the results yet and apparently call for interviews? remember it took then weeks and months to call back after each stage, so guys, relax!!!

i just received an sms to come for the said ICT practical test dis thursday (1st nov). but y all these? i had expected to be called for interview straight ahead. i applied for the post of a principal engineer

@deblikings:there is no rat eating the fish whatsoever. just called their customer care and was told some people have the same complaint, that i should call back later in the day, if anyone has same experience, please confirm by sharing...

for those that applied to the federal University, Oye Ekiti, the DEMO EXAM is on, u can now attempt the exams on or before sunday 11th march and monday 12th march for senior and junior cadres respectively.
