The Police at Ikotun Division, Lagos, have started investigation to uncover the circumstances that led to the death of a 13-year old SS1 student, who reportedly committed suicide by drinking the popular insecticide, Sniper, after he was suspended from school for two weeks.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the late Juwon was a student of Foldemi Private School located at Ola Farm area of Abaranje, Ikotun, Lagos, where the incident happened.

It was gathered that one of the female classmates went to the School Management and reported that the deceased touched the buttocks of another female classmate which he reportedly denied.

However, the School Management found him culpable and subsequently punished him by suspending from the school as a disciplinary measure to serve as deterrent to other students despite his denial.

The boy was very angry and felt humiliated for nothing he did not commit in school. When he got home, he took the insecticide, Sniper, which was kept at home and drank it.

Few minutes after, he became unconscious and died in the process before help would come to him as his parents were not at home by the time he was sent home.

When his parents returned home and found him in that condition with a bottle of Sniper insecticide beside him, he was taken to an undisclosed hospital where the doctors merely certified him dead. His corpse was taken to the cemetery and buried immediately.

The death of the student, Juwon, sparked a serious protest in the area and the school to the extent that his classmates mobilised and stormed the home of their female classmate, identified as Chinaza, who was behind the suspension in order to attack her. But sensing danger, her parents managed to sneak her away from the compound and since then Chinaza was said to be in hiding.

She said four of the fully armed men took turns to rape her right in the full glare of her husband, who was beaten black and blue. Fatimo told the Judge that her world came crashing when shortly after the incident, the husband changed completely.

“He stopped giving me money for the upkeep for my children, started staying out late and even stopped sleeping with me” she told the Court.

She said that her husband’s change of attitude stemmed from the rape she suffered in the hands of the robbers, which he witnessed 2 years ago and she was forced to move out of the house.

The husband, Olalekan, who was in Court, denied the charges. He told the Judge that it was his wife who stopped sleeping with him adding that the wife said the robbers accused him of dating the wife of a rival politician in the area, an accusation he vehemently denied.

Police operatives from the Ejigbo Division have retrieved the corpses and deposited at Isolo General Hospital mortuary for autopsy report.
The Late Mrs. Toyin was one of the matrons at Isolo General Hospital, was married to Barrister Okibe, had three children and the suspect, Michael, was the first child.

Michael did not spare his younger sister, identified as Mary, who he also stabbed during the attack and she is said to be lying critically ill at an undisclosed hospital.

Many wondered what could have led Michael, who is now on the run, to murder his parents and attempting to kill his younger sister, Mary.

According to residents, Michael had attended three private universities with nothing to show. He was expelled and was doing nothing but only engaging in drugs.

It was gathered that the parents had done so many things to engage him to be useful to no avail before he eventually attacked and murdered them in cold blood.

When P.M.EXPRESS correspondent visited the residence where the incident happened, Police operatives from Ejigbo Division led by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Olabisi Okuwobi, were there making arrangements to retrieve the corpses to be deposited at the mortuary. The house was sealed off pending when the Police will conclude their investigations.

Meanwhile the Police have started manhunt for Michael over the murder of his parents. According to the residents, after he had killed them he escaped wearing a boxer pant to an unknown place.

The residents, who troop to the scene, expressed shock over what happened. They described the late couple as humble and easy going persons who were at peace with their neighbours. They noted that the suspect, Michael, had been a thorn in the flesh of the parents until he murdered them. The Late Barrister Okibe hails from Edo State.

CrimeOlufemi Oke-Osanyitolu And Olaide Ibraheem Fight In Court Over N45m Property by arinze198(op): 5:33pm On Feb 04, 2020
Two Lagos Directors Who Were Secret Lovers Fight Dirty Over N45m Property

Two Directors of Lagos State government, who were secret lovers, have thrown decency to the wind and engaged in public fight over an N45m property reportedly jointly bought during the love tango.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the relationship has broken up and the estranged lovers are now fighting it out in a Lagos Court over the ownership of the property located at Baba Yusuf in Alausa area of Ikeja, Lagos.

The two gladiators are the Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Olufemi Oke-Osanyitolu and Ms Olaide Ibraheem, who is a Director, Admin and Human Resources in the Lagos State Office of Civic Engagement.

The lovers, who had a sizzling affair while they were still workers of the Lagos State Government, have ended up at the Court over the property as both claim ownership.

P.M.EXPRESS confirmed that Dr. Oke-Osanyitolu dragged Olaide Ibraheem, to Court over the ownership of the plum property located at No. 1, Baba Yusuf Close, Alausa, Lagos, which the Igbosere High Court had fixed 7th February, 2020, for the adoption of final written addresses in the case.

Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye fixed the date after hearing submissions from the Defence Counsel, Adeoye Asaolu, and the Lead State Prosecutor, Akin George.

Ms Ibraheem was arraigned on May 22, 2017 and faces a three-count charge of forgery, forcible entry and criminal damage to the property which allegedly belongs to Oke-Sanyitolu.
During the trial, four witnesses, including Oke-Osanyitolu, his personal assistant and a signature expert, testified for the prosecution while six witnesses, including Ibraheem, a surveyor and a Police officer testified on behalf of the defence.

In his testimony, Oke-Osanyitolu told the Court that he and the defendant were formerly lovers and top civil servants working for the Lagos State Government. He said that in the course of their relationship, he needed accommodation for his ailing mother and had sought Ibraheem’s help in getting an accommodation.
Oke-Sanyitolu said the defendant negotiated the purchase of the property on his behalf for N45 million from the former owner, Baba Yusuf, in Kano.

The LASEMA DG told the Court that he made payment for the property in installments via Luqman Salami, his personal assistant, and that he paid a balance of N1. 5 million the day the Deed of Assignment was signed.
Five people, including the defendant, were present when the Deed was signed but only four persons – myself, the owner of the property, Baba Yusuf, his son Musa Yusuf and Salami, my personal assistant signed the document,” he said.

According to Oke-Sanyitolu, following the breakdown of their relationship, the defendant in order to unlawfully lay claim to the property, fraudulently made another Deed of Assignment and forged his signature on the fake document.
He said that Ibraheem, with the aid of hoodlums, also unlawfully broke into and took possession of the property.

The LASEMA chief noted that when he reported his ex-lover’s actions to the authorities, she threatened his life and said she will show him the power of women.

Ibraheem, while testifying in her defence, said the property belonged to her. She said that when she wanted to buy the property, she visited Baba Musa, the former owner of the property in Kano. However, he had said that due to religious reasons, he could not sell the property to a woman, unless she came with her spouse. Ibraheem said that obliging the request of Baba Musa, Oke-Sanyitolu accompanied her to buy the property.

The defendant in her version of events said that four persons – herself, the owner of the property, his son and Oke-Sanyitolu signed the Deed of Assignment while Salami, Oke-Sanyitolu’s personal assistant was a witness.

She said at the end of their relationship, she got wind of the fact that Oke-Sanyitolu had procured another Deed of Assignment for the property. Ibraheem noted that the new Deed did not contain her signature and that he was trying to register the new Deed at the Lagos State Ministry of Lands. The director denied taking over the property illegally from the complainant.
