I don't suppose that Dr Ravi wrote this poem but as far as I know he won't preach without at least alluding to it. For me it has become like a creed...A code with which I have lived by for over 11 years now. Needless to point out how refreshing those words always feel whenever I say them out loud in my darkest moments.

During my undergrad days, whenever I have a depressing bout I'd just lay on my bed and then put on Dr Ravi's podcast on my phone, as his soothing voice dissects God's word of hope and truth. 1000/1000 I wake up refreshed and happy to face the new day and its challenges.

The World has lost an end time General, a Quintessential Apologist, a most logical mind and a great great man of God. Aside the death of my father, I don't think the demise of anyone else has gotten to me half as much as this.

Dude stop ranting. You can’t handcuff yourself to your kid, some kids due to peer pressure or their inquisitive nature try drugs and the unfortunate ones that are prone to addiction can’t stop. Bro if your brain has a tendency for addiction it takes a lot of effort to stop, we are wired differently some continue to chase the dragon(chasing the initial high) while some can stop. I am very lucky, I have tried some addictive substances but got hooked to none, infact I hate things that make me high.

It is an unfortunate situation, reminds me of the very sad death of Heath Ledger(that portrayed the joker character) very unfortunate end even after everyone tried to make him to stop drugs including himself trying to stop but all to no avail. Just don’t try it if you have not because you don’t know if you have an addictive brain or not. The mom is not to blame like that, I’m sure she tried her best.

What rubbish is this one saying?! Just because you tried hard drugs and didn't get hooked doesn't mean everyone could have a resistive tendency to addiction. You rubbished someone's comment as a rant yet you provided no solution to curtail any further happenings.

The fact still remains that at that tender age of 13, no child should be hooked on any hard drugs to the point of moving on to opioid. It doesn't make any sense that people who should know better keep shying away from the fact that parents play an important role in moulding a child, peer pressure or not.

The parent failed in setting the boy's feet on the right path early in life. Stop trying to rub a balm on a viral infection, it won't work!
