6 underground 7.5/10

Over the top actions with funny and touching moments sprinkled here and there, not without flaws, Michael Bay lays the groundwork for something that might become the next fast and furious-esqeu franchise. Seriously some scenes in this movie were borderline hilarious, the pop culture references were tight!
Funny thing is I saw a conversation between 1 and the Proffesor of money heist on you tube.

It will play out well if a movie is made concerning both parties.

Alright. So just finished seeing the Carnival Row. It seemed like a slow burner. But its really good. The acting is good, the storyline is great, the twist is superb.

I'll give it 8.9/10
Solid series. I am yet to see the finale. Fingers crossed.

Also yet to see Got finale. Just cant bring myself to end it even though I know what happened.

Read the post again, if you don't have the money to run a business, then don't start. But to use people and pay them poorly because you know they will take peanuts and not complain is wickedness. It's that simple.
I also blame the employees too.

My guy for a job of 200k. After the first month they slashed it to 80k. He promptly put his resignation in. Ko job offer waiting oh.

He got another jobless than a week later and had to wait his time out.

Simple method. E no gel then leave straight

this is soo on point. but this is Nigeria. an hell on earth. well it saddens me when I hear people rant entrepreneurship cos just like me not everybody has business acumen. give me 20million today and i won't know what bussiness to do with it. i'd just put it in a fixed deposit or buy land or give it to a seasoned business man. that's only what i can think of. and besides if everybody becomes an entrepreneur who'll then be the employees/workers? I just need a very good and secured job. and I'm fine
Good that you know who you are. It's a strength not a weakness.

My former company Direct on Data, Ilupeju did the same thing. One of the director bragg that he will not pay any dime or any gratuities and he will only pay the three months pensions owe. Uptil now he did not pay the pension. The name of the company was change from Direct on Data to Hoops Telecoms just because they own huge amount of Tax to the Lagos State Government. How could you laid of staff in December period without paying anything in the month of December for people that have children and wives at home. The company is been run by an Indian who flush out people he is not in good term with to settle score. How can an Indian come to Nigeria and be destroying our Economy. No leave allowance for 2019, no leave encashment for 2019, 1 month in lieu of notice for where, no severance. In a country where we are been treated bad by our own people is the greatest act of wickedness. Even the staff that are retained no more leave for them , no Health insurance . It tantamount to slavery. Any contact with a human right lawyer to fight for our right will be appreciated.
You all should gather and resign. Unless Stockholm syndrome.dey affect una.

I cannot do a job without leave. never.

Because you swallow it thats why you are served it.

If nobody takes the job it will become better.

But naija is let me manage this one first then start complaining.

Better to leave the country. There's scores of oppurtunity out there legit if you put in the time and hustle it.

Na me you wan tell? I know exactly how this thing works. I've had my fingers burnt. It is ridiculous. I had to close down my only brick and mortar business which didn't allow me control the cash flow process 100%. I laid off the bastards and closed down the business, and went on a very long hiatus to perfect my business model for subsequent ventures.

I also redefined my other business which placed too much creative control on certain employees. Their lazy, wicked and incompetent asses would destroy your business's hard earned quality reputation and send you back to the village. God forbid.

Now I only run (and will only ever run) businesses where I either have full control (or technology enabled supervision) of receiving and disbursing ALL payments, or the process can be automated to a large extent. If I have Nigerian staff, it is only for administrative tasks. I can't even trust them with customer service because if they don't see any avenue to collect money and defraud you, they will chase away your precious customers with their very terrible winchy attitude.

Because they see you living a certain lifestyle that YOUR own entrepreneurship affords you, they would start sulking and expecting 1000000% salary increase, even without commensurate output/performance on their part. Terrible idiots. That's why so many of them can only hope for government work and the likes, so that they can collect free money without adding value.
My brother I feel you. I've tried the business model too but shut down because they will ruin you with bad attitude and stealing.

Particularly small business.

I also made an comment about the government fault in the matter.

Nonsense. The average Nigerian employee is incompetent, unresourceful, over entitled, unscrupulous, criminally minded (would defraud or steal from you at ANY given opportunity), and typically has a poor attitude to work.

You don't expect an entrepreneur to share his rewards with your sorry ass for your mediocre contribution. If you don't like the terms of your employment (and if you don't like the fact that there's little opportunity to steal), then you QUIT.
I take it you've employed before.

Let me lay an example.

A shop owner I know used to run at a loss for a while in his shop. Missing money no explanation.

I then suggested he used his in law who's almost a daughter to man the shop.

See bonanza. All the girls quit working within 2 weeks. He had to get new help. No more stealing. Sales were properly recorded. He has opened another branch now.

The worst of all people to hire are any form of unqualified help. Those ones are criminals waiting to eat your money without knowing how hard it is to make.

You can use it as a career builder if you want to be a teacher.. however if ts let me be doing something then tou are in trouble.

Some schools pay as much as 150k a month in lagos. I knew a young guy working in one such school.

I don't believe these employees are engaged by force. Any employee not comfortable with the work they are doing can easily resign his/her job.
This is another opinion I hold dear. If you dont like it quit. When nobody takes the job the salary will increase and so will perks to ensure he job is taken
.

You also forgot the fact that an average Nigerian employee is always at standby mode to ruin your business in the name of side money.
I love this statement. Standby mode...

Many of them dont even want to work but expect a salary at the end of the day.

I blame the government sha. They started the scheme of payment of salary without even realising if the people are working or not. Honestly payment of salaries should be by the hour on the hour.

You will see a change in attitude

Nothing wrong in that at all.

I completely agree.

As I said the op has pointed some facts here that many do not see. Before the marriage the mother has tried to control him and it upsets the wife.

Women are like that that's why daughter in law mother finlay wahala isnalways present.

He needs to know that his family is first and the mother should step back some.

Shes divorced and may want to live her life through her children disupting thier own flow.

That is wrong.

This is a very sensitive issue, you need to Man up, and also be prayerful.....if care is not taken you are threading the way to divorce.
I am a Pastor, I'm married too, I have a mother,
so I have the moral standard to advise you.
The role of your wife in your marriage is different from the the role of your mother. the Bible says the man shall leave his father and his mother and shall cleave to his wife and they shall become one. The problem is, you haven't leave your mother.
things like this happens when parents are still contributing to marriage, like money, foods, business or housing.
sorry to say this, if your mum is that right and knows the form a marriage should take "she would still be with your father she wouldn't have divorced your father or vice versa" that is a signal that something is wrong. let her use her ways on her marriage and not your marriage.
The wife owns the home not parents, until you get it wright with your wife the unexpected may happen. things has changed bro, before I got married I have a picture of what my marriage would be so I worked it out.
gone are those days when things like this happens. can I chock you? as much as I love my mother when she visits and trying to talk and train my children in a way that is arcake(old fashion) jokingly I would correct her.
my mum is a great woman, very loving and caring but I don't reveal secret about my wife to her because one day she may use it against her and vise versa, as much as my wife loves her and always want her to visit but my mum doesn't come always.
finally, stand your ground and also correct your wife. you are in charge, the more you put out your marriage to family debate the more trouble you get.
This is what I wanted to say.

Well said. You really what's up
Family › Re: My Wife And Mother Hate Each Other by armadeo(m): 2:32pm On Jan 18, 2020
First are you the only Male child only child ?

Next and finally a man shall leave his mother and father and join his wife and they shall become one flesh.

Your mother has to stay back away from your family. Tou are now a married man with his own family to cater for. They come 1st 2nd 3rd up to 20th before anybody. Including the family you are from.

As for the wedding issue I think that your wife was in the wrong and it sparks of previously untitled grief.

Put your foot down but remember you have the final say. Continue with your logic and damn the consequences.
