Well have u heard that men married to carreer women demand alimony from them. So its a two way street. Some men no dey gree..they call it spousal support. http://www.forbes.com/2007/03/13/women-paying-alimony-lead_cx_pink_0313alimony.html |
Wale popopo, dan baba, iya dogbo and tatafoo of the wetin dey family house 3-5 pm weekdays on radio continental. Its the only thing I listen to oo radio. These guys are hilarious. |
shymmex: Mind of an ancient man..i dont think you know the meaning of war. Its not something fought from the comfort of your room on your computer. it affects all and sundry. its not saving private ryan shit. its real so think well b4 u speak. |
the avatar and Ben 10 made me laugh but the grand theft auto was simply hilarious. Here's an idea gather up all these funny nollywood posters and show it like a slide show. Thats gonna sell as comedy. I'll watch it for trips. Lol |
niddamugu: Senseless case....... Stupid man! He should go and mourn his wife. Let him put it this way - He buys a 2000 model Japanese tokunbo car here in nigeria and the car failed brakes and killed all the passengers in the car. A victim's husband decides to sue the Japanese company because the car was manufactured there.....thank you very much exactly my first thoughts. Why don't we go ahead and sue Toyota Mercedes volvo and Honda for the various accidents involving their vehicles over 20yrs. Some people are really dumb. Anyhow i sympathise with the dude. God give him fortitude to bear his loss. |
i need costs of Toyota rav 4 and 2003 2005 2008. Leather seats 4 cylinder grills if possible. Urgently also highlander 2003 above specs. Thanks. |
what sounds? |
afam4eva: How about a committee to find out why other committees have not worked. Gbawe: Shortly after, that committee will also need another committee to explain it's failure to find out why other committees have failedboth statements above made my evening. Lol |
Justosaus: LOL. Where on earth did you hear that? To my knowledge the best is about 120k, except you go to some core north states which may pay slightly higher. I'm a doc presently slaving (sorry, serving) in oyo state & receiving 30k !thanks for telling the truth. I don't knoW of any place where a doctor is paid more than 90k as a copper. 150k is ridiculous. How much is your monthly pay minus your runs. |
sureboykris: it depends on profession, Ūя̲̅ ppa n local government. M serving now in benue n d least i pick in A̶̲̥̅ month is 150k. The leastthe fact that your salary is not fixed cos you said *at least 150k * shows say your hand no clean or you are involved in runs tins. |
Mayflowa: Contrary to what you argue against, NYSC docs are really well paid! My sis-in-law just finished from one of Lagos State Local Govt Clinics for her NYSC. She was being paid 175k by the Local Govt.lie |
A society that is beefing their doctors, and supporting corrupt government appears to be doomed (at least in my own books), GOD HELP NIGERIA! I think it is time for all DOCS to pray for their society. . . .
, my brother they are beyond redemption. Save your prayers for yourself and your loved ones. |
allycat: Boo hoo like I have been crying since we were issued the sack letters. I know I will be cussed out for saying so but personally I am annoyed that Tinubu came to meddle as usual. I was actually enjoying the unpaid vacation. Last year I worked for at least 3 weeks of my annual leave last year because the unit was short staffed, it was only when I travelled out of the country I could relax because nobody could reach me . This period of sack has been the closest thing I have had to a full leave in some years where I can sit in my house ignore phone calls if I dont know the number and generally think of myself and my life. Without worrying about one patient or the other.i feel you on the ignoring unknown numbers that call. Its such a relief. |

PeterKbaba: My brother, it simply means the ACN is a Government for the people, it listen's to the masses.. if na PDP, will they even have the mind to protest like that and the government would listen. Although the government took a bit of time before pardoning the doctors.. but we should commend them, or have we forgotten that during the pdp blood riot would have been all over the street with soldiers... Look at jonathan"s word to the protesting youth , saying his decision is final (military man to youths, but pleading with boko haram which are terrorists)... offcourse fashola could do that (pdp world) and even employ people from anyway, but he choose to listen to Lagosians.. Another plus to democracy in lagos.am shocked i actually missed this first time round. Dude are you for real. Pls meet abacus for a count of your brain cells too. |
abacus: Many Thanks Mr.Fasola. Next time they never toy with their work again. Only fools blame LASG in the whole episode. Once again, kudos go to Fasola for his fatherly intervension.am very sure that the abacus can count the number of cells in your brain. You must be senile. |
allycat: Nobody should expect the doctors to go back to work like say tomorrow, reason there is no reason for them to trust Tinubu coming on air and saying that the sack has been SUSPENDED. What does it mean to suspend a sack? Tinubu was one of those that signed the previous agreement that was later denied by the government and the doctors know thathe is also one of the chief advocates of the strike, so why should they trust any thing that comes out of his mouth..I am one of the doctors and since I was given a physical sack letter by my employers, I will not go back to work if I don't get another letter stating that the old letter is not valid or has been rescinded. Or do you think a Prof of surgery or medicine who was begged in the first place to come to LASUTH when they needed known names to get accreditation to set up the medical school , will just get up and go to work tomorrow because Tinubu came on air and made some announcement. The problem is far from over and the repercussions will linger for a long time.Pls tell them. The level of ignorance displayed here is shocking. People of this country deserve what they get. |
HMMN, LET US SEE WHERE THIS ENDS!! I CAN SEE MANY PEOPLE HERE STILL DONT UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THIS STRIKE. THE STRIKE IS NOT GOING TO BE CALLED OFF UNTIL TINUBU PAYS FULLY!!!!
i can see that you are one of the few with insight. Many here are blinded by the acn is always right mentality. We really deserve our leaders be it acn pdp or whatever by the posts am reading here. We aren't ready for freedom yet. The worst they could do to these docs fighting for their rights was to sack them. Why call them back now. They have seen that there are no more moves for them their queen is down. Common docs two more moves and check mate the govt! Man am i laughing my Butt off. I knew they'll get to this point but most of you did.nt see it and still can't. Try and reason for yourselves for once. |
i thought they would wait till the entire naija health system shut down on their heads. I believe now is the time for genuine dialogue. No am harder than you. They should meet and discuss issues. All the best to govt and the docs. |
. You people are illiterates and credible governing is new to you people. There institutions that has to remain credible and respected for us to have a better society, we can not have a situation where some people disrespect and ridicule the institutions put in place to serve serve us and our interests. These institutions hired the doctors and they govern every part of their employment, they also have the statutory power to discipline them, promote and fire them. The governor stepping in to go against the will of these institution means abuse of power and the governor committing illegalities. It also means he is undermining the people's institution and setting them up to fail, we can not have politicians interfering and messing with everything, like I said, good and sensible governance is new to Nigerians, but in Lagos state, we'll show the rest of the country how to do things from here on. The doctors will not disrespect and disobey our institutions created by the laws of the people of Lagos state, the doctors are not the employers, they are the employees and they still have to obey set rules and regulations pertaining to their employment regardless of their grievances. A society where some doctors or group of people sees themselves as supper group of above the law people with no respect to our institutions and laws is not a good society, these acts of disrespect and insubordination leads to anarchy and lawlessness. What the SHS is doing is reclaiming it's authority and restoring sanity. Doctors are free to demand for whatever they want and the state is also free to say yes I'll pay you or no I don't have that kind of money. We also need a society where people can go to the next employer for better money if his current employer is not paying enough instead of the sense of entitlement mentality and disruptions with people's lives over money. It is not by force to work for any employer. You are a monkey. Dumbf. Why oh why are you so myopic. These doctors are on strike for the third time in 3 yrs over the same issue. Your gov signed an agreement and is now defaulting. Your gov is a fraudsTer 419ner. you people are so blind. |
jim jones: 1. if the sick old man actually actually refuted claims that he's been healed, then he very much deserves to be in his current state...evidently, he's not a christian, and he knows nothing about faith. of those of you im.be.ciles that believe that jesus is coming back soon, how many have quit believing because dude aint returned after over a couple thousand years? the old man did not object to being taken to this fireman punk, a few days later, voids the proclamation of healing upon his head. faithless man.Jim Jones ain't that the dude who claimed to be some messiah and killed a us senator and lots of his followers in Guyana or some place like that. Since that is your id am not surprised at your post. False prophet. God is watching you all. |
afam4eva: I've never been to the cinemas before and some people think i'm bush because of that. What exactly goes on in a cinema apart from watching movies and chopping popcorn with bottle of coke. So, if i can do and get all this in the comfort of my home, doesn't that render it redundant?Thats why they call you bush man. Lol |
*speaking words out of sync with lip movements * my name is Wong fei hong |
say no to state creation. 6 new states means 6 new govs + deputies + first and deputy first ladies. 18 senators and only God knows reps. Uncountable commisioners and special assistants et al. Don't you all see what this Will do to the National till. These politicians are smart playing the much used tribal card and trust mugu's fall for it. More states is not the solution but Good governance is. |
Pls don't dips shawshank redemption. Awesome movie. My hate list. Anything with seagaj, vandamme. All those silly romantic comedies. Teen movies. Can't finish anyone. lukkie: You're right on that one. Nigeria is indeed a hopeless country. Nigerians are the foolishest people in the world.its actually amazing. When they see their rights its like a favour to them. Thats why we keep getting knocked on the head by our leaders. Am happy to see that a few have insight. |
