moodswing: And why are we still hungover this issue?. Too bad the boys died, but I honestly didn't expect their victim to stand by and watch them obtain him just like that.
u are a possible murderer and an olodo. Didn't u read that he owed dem money and u are ranting that they wanted to obtain him. Go and borrow money from bank and don't pay first u'll see d real definition of obtaining.

As for ur insensitive talk on overhung on the issue, this is Y we aren't growing in this nation as long as it happens to someone else its ok. Complete lack of empathy. If u love ur neighbour as urself this nation will be great.

IMO the book rich dad poor dad was his own way to hammer which he did. I lol when I see naijans trying to apply his principles here. A friend of mine was even telling me that a car is a liability. Imagine.
I am amazed that people cannot see reality, those principles can't work here it only apllies when there is long term credit facilities which smart ones can make a killing on.
Case in point the car or house:
Over there u can buy a car or house and pay over 30yrs hence a liabilty I.e U are in debt for 30yrs but here unless u have strong hand in ur bank who will release the car to u. Out toks are fully paid for b4 release hence asset. Its fully urs.
BTW if 95 percent haven't read that book then smh @ our future not because its applicable but because no search for knowledge.

i quite agree that ppl of aluu have been under seige from robbers/ cultist etc my grouse with them is even if these boys were cultists do u have any proof that they comitted any offence. in any court of law they would have been set free no proof at all talkless of reasonable doubt. flip the coin: there is massive evidence that citizens/ indigenes/ dwellers of aluu comitted a heinious/ barbaric murder both pics and video in any court guilty. trust naija some peeps head tribal on this issue. a spade is a spade not a hoe or rake. evil was done by aluu so they should pay.

gbanikiti: now I see you also think with only half of your brain! Shymexx who lives in th UK and denies been a nigerian on several threads understands some basic problems of nigeria right? What does someone who has lived all his life abroad know about his country? The only thing he knows is to make noise on the internet and hurl insults on nigerians because he is FORTUNATED to live abroad! If he wants his voice to be heard,he should match down to aso rock and profer solutions to nigeria problems!
Me don't think he's fortunate.
While I understand don't pay blood for blood on a logical plane, I put myself in the shoes of the family.
Can u watch ur family member butchered like that and come out waiting for the rule of law or say let's dialogue on the issue. If there was proof that these boys were thieves as insinuated I doubt this issue would have come this far. No guns no knives no axes no stolen properties no witnesses just a bunch of savages surrounding students whom I am sure dey felt inferior to and brutally end their lives.
@ least NPF shows guns and okada and stolen props.
On the other hand do u know that there is proof that the villagers massacred those boys.aint no dialogue gonna happen. When the villa is a football field a committee can be formed to look into the matter and make whatever reccomendations they want.
To be honest I know what the students are doing is not the right way to go. But then again fvck it because it comforts me and screw anybody that asks me what makes me different from those supporters of ALUU savages. Well if you must know i'll tell ya. Unlike the animals in ALUU who murdered other peoples flesh and blood for no reason by accusing them of something with no proof, the UNIPORT students have all the evidence they need in the recorded video. You cant blame them for their emotions and wanting to act before thinking because they have seen with their own eyes what happened to their fellow students and they know who did it, this is not hear say. Now thats what makes them different from the ALUU village animals and thats what makes me rational for supporting them. SHIKENA!!
My thoughts exactly. Uniport has proof of aluu crime while aluu has no proof of the 4 students crime.
Am not violent by nature but somehow I feel appeased. Burn that villa down, scorched earth levels.if u aren't happy read my signature...

U don't need anyone (indigene) to do a good job. E.g road construction is road construction wherever the road is.
One or 2 questions can be asked from indigenes not nessesary to be on the team. Ps manpower @ the local level will definitely come from there.

U reek of trying to make gain from this disaster and u r upset that noffin 4 u. Maybe just maybe there really is noffin there.

violent: ^^^

If you actually understood what i wrote, you may have noticed that I'm not simply dwelling on the 10 seconds bit, but the idea that we as a people are quick to move on with out lives after such incidence.

I couldn't care less if MI spent an hour or a day thinking about this....the main point to emphasize is that like in any other case of it's type, thinking, perhaps even a bit of nice blogging, is all you can get as reactions from Nigerians to such savagery. Give it a couple of weeks, and all would have been back to normal for MI, me and everyone else except for the families of those boys who got murdered.

A corpse is just a corpse after all.
I got it when some one said u both are using the smae Analogy of 10 seconds. This even made me feel worse. U are right u know. A couple of weeks time the horror would have worn out and everybody will go back to the rat race. No reflections on the depth of what has happened or is happening ( as long as I see it on the news)not me,. Our nation is in deep shit and majority don't even understand how deep this laterine is.

violent: MI was kind enough to have dedicated "all of 10 seconds" of thought to it! He even wondered "briefly"!!!

Most people, me including, probably spent a couple of minutes after watching the video, with our hearts in our mouths and our eyes agape whilst screaming silently "OMG, how could this have happened"

In MI's case, he dedicated "all of 10 seconds".

10 seconds!..after which life went on as usual. I woke up this morning not remembering how 4 young boys were beaten, and forced to watch their death coming in a most gruesome manner in the hands of a mob who are so eager to see their flesh roast up in flames. Their human flesh roast up in flames!

Perhaps I'd take a different stance from MI on this. The hope was never the worst part of it all! The lack of humane feeling is!

A corpse they say, is just a corpse until that corpse is your pops! While the families of these boys will have to go on with the rest of their lives with the realization of how the lives of the people they cared for came to an end, MI and I (and perhaps many others) have simply spared '10 seconds shedding a tear' and then moved on with our lives only with an occasional reference to the incidence and some faith that Justice will be served.

In a much civilised environment, the public will be outraged by this singular act of savagery, so much so it may threaten the stability of the government of the day. People wouldn't just sit back and wonder...and curse...and hope...and pray...and write fancy notes and then move on with lives. In those communities i described, there's a genuine humane feeling, borne out of the realization of the knowledge that we all share a common heartbeat.

The story of April a girl of 4 who went missing in the UK comes to mind. The immediate community reaction was forceful, hopeful, urgent and pronounced with hundreds of people volunteering to help the police in their search. This is a community where true humane feelings are found in the minds of people. In my own country, where four men were beaten to a pulp and burnt to death by their own friends, people simply dedicate "10 seconds of full thought"...then curse...then wonder...then hope...then pray...then life simply returns to normal!

Nebeuwa: Everything you said was the truth.

Why do people need to see this horrendous video?

Weren't the pictures enough?
As he said lurkers... People thrive on the sorrow of others that's why they could stand by and watch with **with feigned disgust**glee as those young boys were cut down brutally in their prime.
Personally I have been robbed many times thank God I survived and I always thought of how I would treat the robbers if they were caught. Now faced with the brutal reality as displayed by the pics I realised that am incapeable of my aforementioned vengeance. I now understand when peeps say I leave to God to judge.

As for those who want to watch people being killed it tells u the morals of the society we live in. If it were right Utube won't bring down such videos.
