Stupidity should not be confused to mean bravery. A good General knows when to fight and when to retreat. Kanu was only being foolish by taking on that Officer. I'm not surprised, kanu like every other Igbo,is guided by emotion rather than clear logical principle.
I honestly think there is dearth of wisdom in the southeast. One can only look towards that direction when looking for stupidity! stop crying bro. wisdom comes from the East |

Calling Nigeria Zoo is an act of insult so Mr man because of one misguided untrained anuofia called Kanu who failed to acted with his sense but failed and embarked on this journey without full support of at least 85% of the igbo and forgot this is 2015/16 not 1966.
As far as I'm concern despite my parent are from that region after watching a video clip made by kanu and listened to his careless statement, kanu you have committed a treason and felony offense and you must be clamp down no where in the world anybody I mean anybody will utter such reckless statement and not be arrest and jail no where so Nigeria is no exception so I don't care what anyone says mine is this guy was wrong and should be dealt with. Ariani: Oh! On the contrary, he is not in any way tired of one Nigeria, just as he was not in any way tired of Delta state, He just wanted a Delta where the "Delta Igbo problem" would be permanently fixed, just as he wants a one Nigeria where "The Igbo problem" would be permanently fixed.
How to fix the Delta Igbo problem, according to Sagay:
1, No Delta Igbo should be allowed to govern delta state.
2, Delta Igbos must accept their second class status in Delta, they must be constantly put down and reminded that they are not "Real Delta" people by the non Igbo tribes of Delta state
3, They must accept the above conditions in good fare and not dare as much make noise about it or seek to free themselves.
Substitute Delta Igbo for Igbo and Delta state for Nigeria, and you understand Sagay current outbursts.
He has been pretty consistent. classic ! |

Gr8amechi: for the real facts you are not being honest, ethnicity is not about yoruba or igbo. I take delta state as a case study do you know how the urhobos' treat other ethnicity just because they are majority?? Even if you make Niger delta a country now the problem will only compound if you read my comment without bias you would have seen where i wrote 'sharp ethnic differences' . Delta state are all christians. So with the Niger Delta u ignoranly quoted. They have a long history of interrelationship.no disagreement in Delta will lead to massive killings and riot. Do deltans burn properties of fellow deltans when muhammed is cartooned? Do they kill fellow deltans when a religious statement is made in europe? It is not so with say Igbo and Hausa who clearly have different cultures ,history, traditions and religions, who were moving in different directions of civilization b4 they were merged. How can u have a large number of radical islam followers and large number of deep christian adherents in the same country? All speaking different languages? You can pretend not to understand what i mean but like i said, only truth can save nigeria. The last of such countries was sudan which seperated in 2011 |

Gr8amechi: I am from delta state and do you know ethnicity has also done a great havoc here?? Like you said what we need is a national ideology, I feel we youths need a little uprising let's call a conference for ourselves and chat a path for ourselves, separation will only be needed if and only if there is no no head way, for me even if we separate it will not give us solution unless we tackle the root cause of our problems you say 'root cause' ? What is the root cause other than the unfortunate sharp divisions along ethno-religious lines? Do you ever think igbo, yoruba and Hausa youths will ever rise for a common purpose? Against who? Doesn't the enemy have an Ethnic group? Nzeogwu tried the uprising and it immediately became an 'Igbo coup' an led to a civil war. It was not, is not, and will never be possible. My dear there is no headway. Nigeria's situation is pathetic. No nation develops when it spends a large chunk of its earnings trying to force its people to be united when in other clime pple themselves drive development One thing about truth is that it keeps bringing up its stubborn head. Only the truth can save us. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Agony Of Unemployed Medical Graduates In Nigeria by Armaggedon: 9:19am On Jan 09, 2016 |
Gr8amechi: I beg to disagree with some of your points, even if we divide, some states in the south still have more than one ethnicity and same problem will brewe, all we need is a radical change and a national re orientation program, you can never have radical change in Nigeria because we do not have one national ideology. If we had a national ideology, we would have had a goal. Since we have non of them, how do expect the whole nation to agree on the direction of the 'radical change'. We must go our way if we must survive. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Agony Of Unemployed Medical Graduates In Nigeria by Armaggedon: 8:49am On Jan 09, 2016 |
Nnamdi kanu is correct...give this country 1000 yrs things can only get worse and worse until it slides into anomie. The only solution is the obvious- going our seperate ways. Nigeria has a fundamental problem which is it's sharp ethnic divisions. . Ethnicity is a major evil on which other factors that negate development is built. It fuels corruption as politicians in their hundreds who should be in jail are rather allowed by the system to enjoy privileges and cruise into higher poliical posts playing ethnic cards. Qualification for a position is viewed with ethnic lens as against merit and individual capability. How do you expect the country to develop? Show me a country with sharp ethnic division that is managing to survive and i will show you 30 homogeneous nations that is flourishing in peace, development and prosperity
Germany unemployment rate is currently is at all time low- an evidence of growth and development
Nigeria's unemployment is getting higher and higher, same with insecurty, hunger, crisis and corruption. All point to one thing- the country has failed. You are free to crucify me but if you still support one Nigeria after going through what the op lamented as a medical graduate, then u're doomed. |

Noneroone: Awolowo would remain under Bello's arm so long as ZIK did same. If Zik held them by the arms , the same Awolowo would advice him to go under bello's arms like him so they could 'develop their regions' and leave Bello to his backwardness. Yet the same awolowo secretly schemed to be at the center and hold them by the arms. His advice to zik was born out of envy and to just check his moves. nice illustration. Awolowo pretended he loved the regions more than central govt but he wanted federal govt more than anyone else. He only advised zik to stay and develop the east like him out of jelously. He proved it during the civil war and in 1979 |
