It is not about power it's about law. If the if you destroy someone's property or business, you will pay five times the amount in damages.

If you say the law won't hold and want to go head to head with the government, you will lose woefully.

It's either you obey or find your way out.

You are just lucky you are in the midst of people with conscience until pre-election when you people wanted to cross your boundaries and try your luck.
The hostility you'll be getting henceforth is your own doing, after all these same people allowed you to live among them freely since after the civil war when your tribe was destabilized.
There is no law in place. The argument is that the State assembly want to curtail Igbo successes but their hands are tied owing to their lack of powers to embark on such silly legislative exercise. Save your litany and tell me how such a law will be couched.

Alaye, no dey ask me jamb question, we have made ourselves clear about the new law.

Nothing, I repeat, nothing you or your likes can do about it than to relocate back to where you come from.

We stay in our land and develop it, you people can do same.

If our region is not conducive or we are locking ourselves up every Monday, outsiders won't be flocking day in day out
we will not stay. As far as Nigeria is one country. You have to put up with guts of non indegenes around you.

It's easier for one Femi or Habeeb from Osun to enjoy indigene right in Lagos than any Chidiegbere from the east.

All properties belong to the state government, they can confiscate and demolish at will
If the state government decides to demolish their properties whose business is that?

Why should any law to better our region be una headache?

Your politicians are just there doing nothing, hardly we read any development news from your region yet you guys are not concerned.

Channel your energy on how to better your own region and let SW take care of her affairs
region is not a corporate entity in Nigerian constitution. What is your state of origin?

Make una dey play segbo

Ignorance

Ordinary LASU you pay lower if you have Lagos Indegenship form from you LGA

Same thing in all Oyo State schools from Lautech to Poly

Now imagine if such were replecated in allocating Computer Village shops, Ladipo Market and Other Market

Imagine if Promotion and recruitment in Public service is strictly due to Indegenship

.
You are the ignorant one. Same thing apply in most state Universities and apply to indigenes of the state alone.

Where there is no sin, there is no law

Politics › Lagos No-man's-land Law: An Exercise In Futility by Armaggedon(op):
I just heard some politicians in the Lagos house of assembly planning to enact laws to "protect the indigenes"
We all know the true reason behind this and this reason makes such law impossible the more.

For instance, no law can treat a southwesterner resident in Lagos differently from someone from the SE/SS or Northerner.

Any law protecting Lagos indigenes, protects them also from non indegenes of southwest origin.

No law can stop people from coming to Lagos, living and doing business there, no matter how emotional, tribalistic and insecure the law makers are. Provided Nigeria is still one country, freedom of movement and of ownership of properties apply everywhere.

No law can force people in Lagos to speak a particular language.

No law can stop land transactions among individuals.

No law can take away people's properties.

No law in the state assembly can restrict contest of positions in Lagos state to indigenes. If it ever happens, the law makers and the governor themselves will lose their positions.

The best they can end up doing is to speak Yoruba language in the LSHA.

There is no substitute for hardwork.

This is just an attempt to keep their frustrated, angry and poor mobs loyal by firing 🔥 them up with anti Igbo sentiment which is not workable in reality.

Soludo will be taught a bitter lesson.

Soludo will be made to understand that he’s a small boy in Igboland.

That he made the greatest mistake of his entire existence the day he chose to go against the collective interest of Ndigbo.

The battle line is drawn. Let’s see how far he can go in this fight.

Onye ala!
You must be a loser. APGA had leadership problem throughout Obi's tenure. This case will still be won by soludo. You said worse about Obiano and he won 21/21 and finished his tenure in peace. Soludo is doing well and will win again. Only you Obi asslickers will be taught a lesson of political discipline.

You can all continue killing yourselves. Tinubu has more important issues to face. Tinubu will not interfere in Igbos in IPOB, ESN, UGM killing fellow Igbos. Tinubu will also not interfere in Hausa/Fulanis killing each other.
Surely cocaine sniffing is more important that security of lives and properties.

There is by far greater scrutiny in the East than any other part of the country. Unlike a region where a drug peddler is the most powerful man.

Looks like tribalism is only played by those with poor mentality or when politicians need to get the upper hand otherwise everything else is interest.
Yoruba people are tribalistic. Cut the long story short.
