Your expect World Igbo Congress to keep quiet while the army and Fulani herdsmen molest Igbo's as in Obigbo and orlu?

grin grin Buahri is playing a very dangerous mind game with the South East , He put us in a very difficult situation you do not know whether to laugh or cry

His name Leo Irabor is confusing but I presume his complete name is . ..

Major General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor was born on 5th October 1965 in Aliokpu Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He gained admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna as a member of the 34 Regular Course in 1983 and was commissioned Second Lieutenant on 28 June 1986 into the Signals Corps of the Nigerian Army.
Take note. He is the chief of defence staff not the chief of army staff -a position which can be rendered ceremonial.

Ok but pls pick another ground like Abia next time

Esn will henceforth be treated as a militant group

and i wish the security agencies are serious and sensible enough to go against those militants instead of killing unarmed civilians

may the souls of those innocent ones that was killed be upon n kanu and his generation

Ipob remains proscribed in Ala Igbo
They will neither be sensible nor brave enough to do that because they are cowards. They will always vent their frustration on civilians after being defeated heavily by their fellow men with arms.

Politics › Re: I Respect Hausa People But Not Fulani - Nnamdi Kanu by Armaggedon: 5:52pm On Jan 27, 2021
Nigerians are extremely uninformed and don't even know that a pure Hausa Muslim is a moderate Muslim. Fulani's are the problem. There were already Hausa Muslims before 1804.

Politics › Re: Nigerian Soldier Pulls Uniform As IPOB Security Network Opens Fire by Armaggedon: 2:39pm On Jan 26, 2021
Kudejo:
All the pictures that have been posted of dead people are a result of people being caught in the crossfire of the ESN conflict

the army didn't attack civilians but that will probably soon change when the house to house searching starts, you can remember what happened in Oyigbo, Rivers state and you know how long that lasted. There are several military bases in the south but unlike the North there wasn't any conflict that required massive military intervention till now so dont thinks that the 100K members of the Nigerian army are all occupied fighting Boko haram or Banditry in the North because the ESN are in for a rude awakening
you didn't answer my question. Is it right for the herdsmen to be allowed to kill wantonly simply because they 'have never' opened fire on soldiers?
Politics › Re: Nigerian Soldier Pulls Uniform As IPOB Security Network Opens Fire by Armaggedon: 2:08pm On Jan 26, 2021
Kudejo:
Fulani herdsmen aren't just running around killing people, they are having clashes with rural farmers, attacks and reprisals are coming from both groups and both groups are crucial to the Food security of the nation but either way fulani herdsmen have never opened fire on soilders before so anybody living in Orlu should put on their bullets proof vests and get ready
interesting. Soldiers shouldn't go after herdsmen because herdsmen 'have never' opened fire on soldiers but can go after civilians right? seems your army have separate rules of engagement. You and i know that having your army opening a new frontier for conflict at this time is pure suicide mission. So it isn't all about boasting.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Soldier Pulls Uniform As IPOB Security Network Opens Fire by Armaggedon: 1:45pm On Jan 26, 2021
Kudejo:
They will attack the ESN but there will probably be many civilian deaths because it is impossible for there to be a major armed conflict without any civilian casualties (anywhere in the world not just Nigeria), it is never a good combination when bullets start flying and people start panicking
isn't it OK to have such "major armed conflict" with the deadly herdsmen instead?
Politics › Re: Nigerian Soldier Pulls Uniform As IPOB Security Network Opens Fire by Armaggedon: 1:27pm On Jan 26, 2021
Kudejo:
When the Nigerian Armed forces decides to retaliate by sending over 1000 troops backed by Attack helicopters armored tanks and mounted guns I hope you are still this faithful in your ESN.
The question is retaliate on who? ESN or civilians as usual?

Whiteangel1234:
No there will likely be a Guerilla war ..

Nigeria Military will win another Civil war its Harder and they can more easily deploy heavy weapons and fighter jet But Guerilla war is very hard you can only win by efficient Counter - Intelligence gathering , sudden street and jungle fighting
Nice comment. with civil war the military can hit back at civilians maximally to force a surrender. When a country is at war 'collateral damages' are ignored but with guerrilla warfare, the country isn't really at war but it is a quiet, gradual but continuous "hit and retreat" against the army until they become weak and call for dialogue.

Still better than anything you can dish out..

Igbo still rule Nollywood..

The average African viewer don't know what a Kabiyesi means..

Ask them what an Igwe means.. grin

Isn't it funny that Yoruba musicians rule the music industry and everything is cool..

Igbo ruling Nollywood is a torn in your flesh?
Yorubas don't dominate the music industry. That's a fact. It's rather the only branch of the entertainment industry they ave strong stake.

Ofcus they dominated the industry by population no doubt, but don't come here with that content term. They dish out rubbish, waste tape, poorly scripted and last last watch out for part 4. Many have boycotted the industry for Ghana film not until Yorubas came and refined with with beautify nonfictional stories that were well crafted. Putting in the best hands irrespective of tribe and religion. That is the reason why the nollywood is still standing today
lol Yoruba has no stake in nollywood. talk more of bringing "non fictional" stories. what made nollywood great is the beautiful and realistic storyline.
Culture › Re: Anambra Ruler Drags His Subject To Court For Refusing To Address Him As "Igwe" by Armaggedon: 7:24pm On Jan 23, 2021
Nnannapat:
It means you don't know the Igbo culture. Before the coming of the Europeans, Igbos do have kingdoms and perpetual royalty, Nri and Aro as a case study.

Igbos also practice rotational royalty in so many towns even up till date, there are conditions attached to being an Igwe in some towns, like in mine, both your paternal and maternal ancestry must be from the town and your village must be the next in line for the throne.

As for the Emirs and Obas, Igbos are republicans in nature, our culture detest absolute monarchy. Igbos have been practicing democracy before the coming of the Europeans, we have the Igwe or Obi (President) Ndi Ichie(Senators) Ndi nze na ozo ( House of Representatives) Arusi (judiciary) due to the fact that the traditional religion was the official religion then.
That is why it was easy for the British to apply direct rule in Igboland because the system that they met are similar to theirs.

And uptill today an Igwe and the community can agree and banish someone from their communities and that will stand even in law court.
only few towns in Igboland were kingdoms before colonists came. The average Igbo society was governed by kindred. NRI itself although is the oldest in west Africa was more of theocracy than an actual monarchy.

It's a nice seeing those non Yorubas acting in Yoruba and speaking flawless Yoruba. It reminds me of growing up in Ebute Metta and AJ, with others as a family.

What many don't know that some non Yorubas producers like Eddie Igbomah produced great Yoruba movies like Apalara and others, and the owner of NEK Video Link who produced all those Habija and Lalude movies in the early years was an Igbo man. For many years he only produced epic Yoruba movies before he replicated his success by producing Living in Bondage, the first successful Igbo movie.

And little did people know that our own Lagos Bolaji Dawodu directed my cherished Nneka the Pretty Serpent. Seeing Bros like Emeka Ike in Eko Wenjele, and others too like Clarion Chukwura, Lady Regina Chuckwu, Rachael Oniga and others is a thing of joy. They speak and act like a native Yoruba person. It shows we are all one in the eyes of God. You're who you as your environment made you to be.

One love
Living in bondage pioneered the home video revolution in nigeria called nollywood. It is the first "successful" nigerian movie.
