Lufthansa allows for 2 luggages of maximum of 23kg each making 46kg

You can sign it boss. Just make sure the date you indicate on it is the same date u r having your visa interview

Yes you can go for your interview without the money being in your blocked account yet but you need to have filled and submitted the blocked account opening form. The way I did mine was that I first opened the account, the embassy will give u a slip to prove that u have submitted the form, then I went for my interview. After a few weeks, I got the account number and then I payed into it. It took sometime before I even made payment sef but exactly the day I told the embassy I have made payment, they gave me my visa

Another success story has been recorded on this thread. Apparently, my visa decision was ready all along. As soon as I sent my confirmation of blocked account to the embassy this morning, I got THE MAIL asking me to come with 3 months traveling insurance. Thanks to everyone that supported me on this thread. I'm really grateful... Cheers.

They are always unfriendly...I was there and I have a friend studying there .

Don't blame them because they hardly receive foreigners and many have never seen blacks before and also they are racist.

Your chances of surviving there is low because they are poor,They are depending on west Germany economy.

After graduations you might be useless even though Germany has re unite the politics is still going on and on ....

West Germany is nice and lovely and rich that's why life is very expensive there and full of arrogant people.

Northern Germany I knew of Bremen...Berlin is one of the cheapest and Hamburg.

State of Bayern ,Berlin,rhineland palatinate and Baden wuttermberg very expensive and lively.you can integrate very fast.But please be straight with them when it comes to paper work.If you don't go to school then ya done cos your school will report you.


Racism is still in Germany and you can never blame them for this but some stupid people spoil good people.Go to some club and they will tell you it is full.its a lie but thy don't want to see you cos ya black.

You will never get all these fact unless you are very outgoing.sit in the train and nobody will come sit near you most especially in all these northern and eastern states.

Many of our brothers does nothing here than fighting.

In life we face challenges and racism is everywhere even in USA.so don't be bothered,Germans are very welcoming and they likes student so much cos they see you prosperous.

For Bayern beer is cheaper than bottle water,I use to be a very good reverend father but now I can't do without Beer.Just be a good student and you still a lot of things working out for you and always happy.

If you like traveling,You can always plan some short trips cos if you come to Germany and you don't like seeing places then you are jonzing.....

Lemme just share my experience of my transanction with GTB so others can learn. I filled the fund transfer form on monday but I was called later on monday dat my account is on restriction so money cannot fly from my account becos my references haven't been confirmed. So I had to make sure they removed that today, then they told me now that they cannot transfer 8090 once. Dat they have to break it into 2 days and dey r charging me twice for the transaction. I feel that's just wicked and unfair. They just waste my time. That old woman that inverviewd most of us @ d embassy has already sent me mail twice including today, asking me to show evidence of blocked amount, seems she's running out of patience. I don leave everything for God hand now sha

sammykunjas: Well I am still waiting for my visa but I cant really say cos I transferred the money and got the confirmation (19th September) 10 days after my interview (9th September). After I mailed the confirmation to the embassy, they replied me on 24th September that they will get back to me as soon as they get the final consent and today (6 days later) I pressed the panic button and it yielded result. So I cant really say how long you have to wait.

Thank you bro for your kind insight. Learnt a lot from it. Please let us know what town you are going cos it might also be the cause of the delay in getting a response.

sammykunjas: Once u get d crediting confirmation letter from the deutsche bank, endeavour to forward the confirmation letter to the embassy and most importantly to the foreign nationals office of the city u are going to. Embassy may not send the confirmation to the foreign office oo. They didnt forward mine. I knew because today I decided to mail the foreign office in the city to give the final consent required by the embassy. They replied me and said they have sent it today but that I have to bring a paper that can finance my stay in germany. It means that d embassy didnt send them the copy of the credit confirmation letter. I later then sent a copy of the blocked account credit confirmation letter to them. So if I hadn't contacted the foreign office, I would've been waiting for nothing. Your own case might be different sha but don't take any chances. So now I am waiting to hear from the embassy.

franklysco: If u tell them you are resuming on the 14th of October, they won't book you, in fact they'll ask u to defer.
Tell your school to send them an email. The embassy will ask you of when you planned resuming, tell them last week of october. But seriuosly 14th oct no go possible. When was the person offered the admission?
My own case the admission. Came late, 9th sept.

His admission came very late too. Late august. I just hope they give him +ve feedback. He has sent another mail this morning

Its d time factor. We did the interview while waiting for blocked account to shorten our waiting period. At the end of the day, if we deserve a +ve feedback, by the time we pay into our blocked account, it will meet up. @sammy, I have stopped worrying about why my passport wasn't stamped. And I'm happy u shared ur experience as we are in the same shoes cos some guys here already sounding like I'm fake

princeolu254: EcoBank dont change to individual.. i did mine with a Private Money Exchanger.....If you are changing Euro from a Private Exchanger, always take them to the Bank you want to make the transfer from to Verify the Euro Currency because you cant tell fake or real ones...

At that time i bought mine for 217 naira to 1Euro

EcoBank only Charge 12k naira for transfer fees

Chief chill naa. U don't need to insult others. I put that up cos I'm not the first dat will go for interview without blocked account and will still get their passport stamped so I was quite worried. Maybe u should go and check previous posts I and other people have made here. I was just stating my worries and I never at any point stated that I had a BC. Yesterday I was still saying I'm expecting the BC and I was encouraged it will come before the end of this week and it came today. Pls try to choose ur words when u talk to people. suckermaterial: u can use Gtbank or first bank. even if u have naria account without a dom.account, u can still transfer money to ur block account. u have to be fast,no time. just go to ur bank and make enquiries.
