Lecturers that have results like these often pride themselves in failing students. When you dig deep enough, you’ll find a real disconnect n their teaching methods. Either they didn’t attend enough classes or don’t know simpler methods of imparting the knowledge on the students.

(This is not to absolve the students from failure o, you are in school to learn and excel, even if your lecturer Dey mad, there are lectures online you can use to help yourself).

Truth however is that lecturers like this are in almost all if not all our public universities. In my books, they are failures.

It is not true..Degree certificate from a recognised institution except withdrawn by the institution remains valid in the hands of the bearer till death according to the law. No govt department has the right not to recognise such a degree for promotion or upgrading.The unlawful practice is not backed by the civil service rules either.And such illegality has been going on for long.
It is high time new breed of civil servants arose to challenge and stop the illegality esp in govt offices.

I think Op's issue will act as a lesson to people out there that intend using their lower degrees to apply for government jobs instead of their higher degrees.
