Iceathome: The election is pdp vs pdp, thats what most don't know. The rigging ain't gonna work this time because people involved in the rigging are against the Ikpeazu candidature. Mr.Eric Acho Nwakanma could have be accepted widely, he knows Abians too well when he served as a deputy speaker in 1999, two time deputy governor 2003 and 2007 for the Orjis but was blackmail by Ikpeazu for keeping relationship with Orji Uzor which T.A family doesn't like. In all Ikpeazu wasn't pdp choice if I am not mistaken Uche ogah was the masses favourite while Alex otti was second or even third.. But as Uche was schemed out the masses on the average transferred their support to otti |
Politics › Re: Apc’s Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate Defects To PDP In Abia State by asha80(m): 7:15pm On Mar 05, 2015 |
Raiders: Is Dr Alex Otti not a former PDP member that defected because of greed and desperation for power. I cant support a man like him. PDP is going to win Abia. Nigeria elections is won by the resources you have and PDP is in a better position to win Abia state. sounding like ohakim pre 2011 election...by resources...de ja vu |

Raiders: GEJ/Orji is going to help PDP win in Abia state again. Abia state is a pdp state and will remain a pdp state. The elections has already been decided we are just waiting for the result to be declared. Pdp till 2019. I don't think you even know who gej(if that is your hope) is backing...you sure do not even know what is going on at the background...just enjoy America which I am sure you are enjoying with proceeds from embezzled funds from likely abia |

Raiders: this is what people said in 2011. PDP is going to win like in 2011 because we have the resources to win the elections. Elections are not won on the internet. Abia state is pdp and pdp is Abia state. in 2011 ihejirika through the army helped you guys rig with the hope that this time orji would hand the ticket to him to compete under pdp but of course we know what happened...this time no army by your side... |

I can only respect you if you apply same standard for all circumstances and it means Nigeria as a whole is mediocre. how is it selective?I criticize in areas I have an interest and not where one wants me to criticize...ok tell me where you think my criticism is selective?...mind you I am not looking for anyone's respect in cyberspace as it does not change my views or mindset on issues I am interested in |

Abagworo: Apply this to Jonathan and be the judge. Like I have said he is not good but neither is he the devil they painted him. Talking of mediocrity I can only laugh. My verdict about Igbos in particular is that they judge from sentiments than facts. why do you refer me to Jonathan?you seem to think because I criticize some actions of okorocha automatically I am a Jonathan fan.you need to rid yourself of that mentality as I am indifferent to who becomes Nigeria's next president as I really don't see the difference btw the two...have you seem me singing Jonathan before?as for Igbos being more sentimental than factual I don't see how it affects me or my opinions...at least I do not go around claiming i am a real igboman just to make people believe whatever I say |

Abagworo: Orji did not engage in infrastructural development and hence failed in that aspect but the picture being painted is not true. People look for every possible bad side to amplify. If you compare him with Okorocha he might not match but he is not as bad as being presented. I am judging based on factors outside road. People in Aba are very rich. I don't condone mediocrity...have you been to abia hinterlands and seen their inter community roads?are you happy with that?do you know that abia public schools have been on strike since this yr?I guess it does not matter..even the aba roads you saw can you imagine yourself being there during rainfall?he was a governor for 8 yrs hence he is a failure simple..telling me aba people are rich is beside the point..stop looking at individuals but look at systems. |

Abagworo: After my visit to Aba and Ariaria I have concluded that Theodore Orji is a victim of media conspiracy. Most of the pictures circulating on the web are very old and do not in any way represent true situation. At least from Ariaria market point of view. I will now depend on personal experience to pass judgement. All these pictures are false. it seems you like mediocrity...be in aba when rain falls let us see your comments. |

owobokiri: I will play the devils advocate; some elections should not be free and fair! Some elections shhould be rigged especially when across the board frustrations pushes the aarry masses into the wIting but dangerous hands of the extremists. Do you remember the electionsi in Palestine that brought the Hamas to power? The people wNted Hamas out of frustrations with ths slow pace of the palestinian independence movement. How is Hamas rule going today? Thousands killed in Gaza as Isreal retaliates proportionately to any Hamas attack. . I bet many Palestinians would have prefered the PLA in the west with the benefit. Of hindsight..
Example number 2: The Islamic brotherhood in Egypt. Very popular. Very much liked by the people. Yet, when the brotherhood party won the elections, the first they did was to attack the very democratic institutions that brought them to power because they considered them too liberal. Essentially , the very democratic valeus /organs ghat provided the radical party with the vehicle to access power became a haram that should be done away with.
In both examples, liberal democracy rocketed unhinged fanatics to the highest positions in the land. Thereby truncating democracy itself. We cant afford such here. APC with her supporter of APC legacy should be managed. You cant tame a fanatic. It is in the natiolnal interest to weed national politics of radical fanatics with abia state needs card readers for their governorship election |

Cuche: Getting a refund is simply a matter of lobbying and relationships. SE state Governors are on good terms with GEJ, that shouldn't be a problem A good number of Federal roads in Anambra repaired by the State between 2003 and 2011 had the cost refunded by GEJ/UMY give egs of the roads in question? |

Cuche: There are things one should not wait for FG before it's done. Successive State Governors of Anambra and Enugu had come and gone without prioritizing that road. If were the Governor, I will not hesitate to fix that road because of its importance, little by little, maybe do it in 3 sections over 2-3 years. And use our good relationship with the President to get a refund which is within his fiat on the Ministry of Works budget use what if the FG refuses?or you think they have not tried? |
