my brother don't mind these fools. ..He did the same thing with umuguma road. ..A friend of mine that came back during the Xmas was surprised and so happy. ..saying Rochas wants to mk his road double lane. ..I simply told him that that gimmick was for people like him who don't stay in owerri ...those that stay in owerri know Rochas and his way...as at January 5th b4 God. ..All the equipment on that road disappeared. ..and the road is now in an even worse state...God help us
I saw the umuguma road dualization efforts during Xmas...i just hope the construction would be solid and not like others because I was not impressed with the quality of the construction I saw

Is it the day one journalist came with pictures of the so called structures put up by the Governor? I saw one useless man defending him. In fact, the man did a very poor job doing that.

Topic, this news has made my day. I'm not from Abia but I feel their pain. You need to see how they talk about their governor in negative light.
yes that is exactly the interview..I had never seen such dishonesty in my life before.

Pdp has the much needed structure to win Abia guber election.

the goodnews is that all the three major candidates(talking about the pdp, apga and ppa candidates) are all credible,so whoever wins will put smile on the lips of every Abian.

But it is most likely that pdp will win because of the kind of political structure they have.#mythought#
more like rigging structure

The stupid governor doesn't like truth, he likes people praising him so much. He spends more on publicity than he spends in executing projects,I wish he can be given GBAGBO treatement when his tenure finishes. I be in Aba on 14th march and wish Thief Orji will come to Aba so that we treat him like common thief that he is.

That's what okezie ikpeazu is facing now.

Okezie is a good man that I convincingly know that will perform wonders if elected but cos he's seen as a stooge, he's now a dreaded name in Aba.

My happiness is that the eventual winner and the runner up are credible people.
the day I knew that the present govt in abia is fucccked up was the day I watched chimkanayo being interviewed at channelstv in 2013...i nearly broke my tv screen...as for your last paragraph election never hold na

Imo Trader, Artisans Endorse Capt Emma Iheanacho Guber Bid
TRUMPETA | February 6, 2015 | 0 Comments

Iheanacho_Traders_Artisans

It was indeed a convergence of brothers and sister last Monday when Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidates for Imo Governorship race 2015 and his campaign team made a suprise appreaance at the three major markets in Owerri, namely; Ekeukwu Owerri, Relief Market and New market respectively where the mammoth crowd present endorsed his candidacy and reaffirmed him of their unalloyed support.

The successful exercise which commenced with a visit to Ekeukwu Owerri market where women, youths, artisans, traders, Keke operatives among others who could not hide their excitement at the sight of Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho showered much ecomium and rally round him for support. They described him as God sent and a gentle giant who has come to take away their pains and as well deliver them from the government of deceit.

Several traders spoke about the challenges confronting them in the course of the rally that also witnessed a large turnout of enthusaitic supporters at Relif Market and New Market. They assured Capt Iheanacho that they would transcend their support through their votes in the forth coming general election.

Addressing the crowd, Capt. Iheanacho a onetime interior minister expressed his profound gratitude for their overwhelming support. He said youth development and job creation will be one of the main focus of his administration if voted into office as Governor of Imo State. While responding as the traders expressed their problems, Iheanacho said he had seen for himself the total lack of development in the area and had taken note of them, adding that if elected he would see to it that their demand were granted.

So true, although the teachers didn't go on strike during the first term. They were going to school for going sake because they were not teaching the students and they didn't conduct any exam for the student. This second term also I don't thing there will be any exam for the student in public school.
The reason they were not teaching is not even because of the unpaid salaries but because the government is not paying grant for schools to buy chocks and other things needed for the running of school.
are you serious?so what is the noise about how he has lifted education in osun?

The road in question was commissioned some few days back and is no way near aguleri. The plaque for the ceremony also have the inscription on it. Now, the question is, was the blunder a purposeful one because the governor is from aguleri?
Mind you that there are many Road projects in aguleri being constructed at the speed of light, why didn't he name any of them "Umueri-otuocha-aguleri Road"?
ok...so the road in question does not pass through otuocha and/or aguleri I guess?because I do not see any reason why clannishness would be attributed to naming a road

I wonder how a road project in Umueri, should be called "aguleri-otuocha-umueri-airport road". Why must everything be named aguleri, even when the project is in the middle of Umueri. Or is the governor being clannish? I wonder.
do you know the road in question?
