bia lord naya how owerri after that impeachment saga?i hope say no kata kata there lol. |
plendil: Commendable progress is also being observed on the Abakaliki-Enugu road, handled by SETRACO. As of last week, they've gotten to Ezillo, about 30 minutes from Emene. I only hope they'll get to abakaliki b4 the rain starts, that road has been a nightmare.the enugu abakiliki is it single or dual carraige way? |
Rexxie: KINDLY TELL US YOUR POINT AND HOW IT RELATES TO WHAT THE OP IS PUTTING ACCROSS.read the person i quoted and you would have an idea what i was responding to.even the person i responded to understood what i was talking about if you cared to read this whole thread very well. |
obicentlis: He was swore in by the Chief Judge, Justice Njameze by 10.45am.. The elated Dep Gov promise to be honest and clean while the Gov, Owelle Rochas Okorocha advice him not to think of the next eLection but to think of the next generation. It was colorful!they should not slow down on infrastructural development of the state.that is all i want. |
PHIPEX: The number of roads being worked on right now in the South-East should be a pointer to anyone who has never been to the region on how delapidated the entire South-Eastern road network was before this administration. To think that from 1999 to 2011; a period of 12 years, I can't point to a single major road in the South-East that was awarded and completed is mind boggling. I can only say "When the Lord turn again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream". |

Dereformer: Please GEJ, look into Umuahia-Bende-Ohafia-Arochukwu Road. This road is very strategic to the East. I don't know why no administration has ever remembered that Human Beings Ply this Road.the abriba arochukwu ohafia road was just awarded last week.dont know if it is part of the road you are not talking about. |
One_Naira: I still maintain he's done more for that region than all the past administrations put together. |
One_Naira: I still maintain he's done more for that region than all the past administrations put together.hmmm...you are right though.all what the average south easterner living has always wanted is upgrade and additional infrastructure.everyother thing is secondary.i guess pressure has to be put on the present fg to maintain the tempo. |
One_Naira: I continue to wonder why people are trying to turn SE against GEJ and SS on this forum when it's obvious, he's done more for that region than the past administrations.the thing is funding these repairs, monitoring it and making sure that the quality is maintained. |
the thing is making sure the contractors do a quality job whether rehabilitate or reconstruct. |
Exodus#2k:owerri zone or owerri people? |
Afam4eva: There's really no zoning in Imo state but Rochas is kinda bent on handing over the governorship seat to owerri zone.yeah well i guess it has to do with the fact that the only time someone from owerri zone was govervor was in 1992 under late evan enwerem and that was brief if you know the political situation at that time. |
Afam4eva: The rotational governorship ish is based on zones right? From the speculation of Mr Agbaso, he said that they wanted to get rid of him to pave way for someone from Owerri zone to become the next governor when Rochas leaves office.well if imo was so much into zonism then rochas would not have been governor in the first instance.the imo populace as at last election were more interested(and still more interested)in perfomance first before before zoning.@berem iwuanyanwu is only interested in who will fill his stomach with free loaded imo money and not whether the governor is going to come from his local council.he is actually hated in ikeduru. |
Afam4eva: He just couldn't wait...You see why i said it was a setup against the deputy governor.he is from owerri zone but not an owerri man.he is from mbaitoli or ikeduru.as for jude he had it coming. |
if we really want development in the real sense of the world as compared to some of our mates in other countries then i am afraid that we might have to have not less than 15 years unbroken years of 'benevolent dictatorship' because i really do not see our flawed democracy getting us there as fast as we might want.just as the asian tigers.the queston is are ready for it? |
Sincere 9gerian: That super story is NONSENSE. The TRUTH is that the governor wants the deputy governor out. Pure and simple.whose name was forwarded? |
Ngwakwe: Even if it were a setup, at his level as Deputy Governor and Commissioner for Works, he should anticipate such dirty politics and use front-men with no traceable root to his person or office.nna na wao.e be like say you be corruption king pin lol. |
Afam4eva: This just seems so lame. It seems this guy was setup. I kinda inferred it from the interview he granted.set up by whom if i may ask? |
Abagworo: There is a road but no bridge across Imo river. The road was never called Mbaise-Ngwa road but they meet at Imo river bank of Ezinihite and Isiala-Ngwa.ok i guess the isiala ngwa end stops at enugu ph expressway.do you have any idea the road where the mbaise end stops? |
which one is mbaise ngwa road?i do not think i have ever heard of that road before.i wonder the villages it passes through. |
that dualization of anara to okigwe i hope the contractor doing it knows what he is doing because the ihugbe axis of that road is very problematic.Abagworo you once asked why there is so much bad press on rochas and i suggest to you to read 'what happened to pdp's 26b naira' written by Peter Claver Opara in saharareporters.it is then you will know that there is a big problem of people living off government in imo.a mentality that has to change. |
ROSSIKE: ^^^Aba-Owerri road is completely rebuilt and dualised. Very smooth ride.good thanks.i felt some of these eastern roads would never get attention in my lifetime.i cannot forget the agony i used to pass through while passing these roads as at five years ago and beyod. |
awodman: Very smooth...I passed through that road today...was travelling from owerri to abahow is owerri to aba road? |
it now remains the onitsha enugu axis. |
i guess those onitsha traders that have buyers from cameroun would be happy about this. |
i just hope the enugu abakiliki axis is being dualized? |
@phipex i thought enugu onitsha highway is supposed to be one those roads that being worked on through sure p? Well the truth is that lagos to owerri now can be done in six hrs unlike maybe three years ago when it was nothing less than nine hrs. |
free2ryhme: Can Ibo tenants mass together for to find ways to stop their being exploited? Ordinary fuel subdidy crisis you ibos where busy crying for business to continue .. Ibo people are by nature selfish, self-centered, self-seeking, self-conceited, Narcissistic, self-absorbed.. It is the same thing you people have done to Lagos that the price of housing has sky rocketed becos u always pay too extra above the reasonable price...who sets the price of rent in lagos?yoruba landlords or igbo tenants? |
Gamji007: They'd rather be bombed by boko haram than to end up in Ezu river.keep deceiving yourself while the economy of the north esp north east keep nosediving. |
