Next to Josef Stalin, Hitler and Pol Pot of Cambodia, the North Korean dictator dynasty, comprising this dead man and his dead father, systematically killed more of their own country's citizens than any other tyrants alive or dead.

There is an especially hot place in hell reserved for evil sadists like the Kim Dong Ills or whatever the phuck their names were. The network of slave labor camps and extermination/torture camps scattered all over North Korea have for DECADES been the final gruesome stop for MILLIONS of Koreans of both genders, and while that industrial scale slaughter was in progress, the entire nation was being slowly starved to death, under the orders of the "Beloved Leader" whose primary hobbies included chugging champagne and phucking under-age children.

The world is a far better place today, and North Korea should now ensure that NO member of that evil family is allowed near state power until the end of all time.

G.F.R Good Phucking Riddance. Today is a GOOD day. A VERY good day.

If we are to use infrastructures then many countries dont deserve to be a State in the US

Why would infrastructures be a criteria when we are discussing a continent like Africa.

The singular most important thing(about 80%) when Categorizing cities is the POPULATION.

Timbuktu was undoubtedly a city in the 1800 even though it didnt have Skyscrapers
hehe i wonder if then mbaise can be classified as a city.

Let me start with the die hard Ngwa boy; I have encountered Ngwa people in lagos, benin, jos and here in states. I even took math with one Ngwa boy who just relocated from Aba with his parents. I know when an Abia man speaks and when an Imo person talks. And that one about Ngwa ppl not fond of disclosing their identity to a stranger is a stinking lies that you tell to a shiit eating dog! Secondly, I never said the Ngwas that I have met spoke their "okwu“. So, calm down and read my post again.

Odumchi, I have never met an Aro man who spoke the original dialect but when I first saw what you wrote, I gradually read it and almost understood everything you wrote and this is a dialect I have never came across before. I will tell you unequivocally  that the reason why you called what I wrote "mbegiri, mbegiri" is because you are not willing to read it but you expect me an Anambrarian to understand your little known Aro dialect.
99% of ANAIGBO understands the Idenmili/Onicha dialect and thats what I speak and originated from.
As for the translation,NEDU210 has translated almost everything; "rinne" means; in abundance or in a bunch.
" Nya" means;let it. The phrase "nke onye chilu nya zelu" simply refers to when you are greeting a group of people especially in Anambra where we have lots of titled men as a result of NZE na OZO, you probably wont wanna greet every single person there in their titled name,so,in other to greet this ppl in a nutshell you will say "nke onye chilu ya zelu",who loosely means; I greet everybody in their titled name and class. See me, Igbo hardooo!
and this is necessary?

The Imo State House of Assembly yesterday passed a motion suspending the chairman, South East Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya, for alleged criminal activities, after an executive session.

The State Assembly prior to the suspension was said to have summoned the traditional ruler to clear himself of an allegation brought to it by one Ekechukwu, who is a subject of the Monarch and who claimed that the royal father has been bringing shame to the community having being previously convicted of a criminal activity.

Ilomuanya who was said to be absent at the Adhoc Committee meeting of the House, was represented by his lawyer, Mr. Declan Madu, who however did not deny the allegation leveled against his client.

The monarch it would be recalled have not been having a rosy relationship with the state government as he was removed as the state chairman of traditional rulers immediately after the exit of the immediate past government.

LEADERSHIP WEEKEND also gathered that the suspended monarch was due to confer a chieftaincy title on the Senate president, David Mark on Sunday, December 18, 2011.

In a related development, another monarch, Eze Cosmos Onyeneke from Lagwa autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise local government area of the state was also suspended by the House for an alleged conspiracy of crime in his area of jurisdiction.

Onwa o ngeni? What's all this? grin

Seriously, you guys are too funny. There's an element of truth in what most of you guys are saying. In reference to Chinenye's statement it is true that many Ngwa people won't tell you that they're Ngwa until you either:
A) ask
or
B) go to their homes.
A family friend of mine came to my house and we both conversed in Igbo. She spoke Umuahia dialect/Central Igbo while I spoke Arochukwu. In my mind, I was thinking that she was from Umuahia or Imo state. At her home, I felt like I was in Osisioma Ngwa. I was surprised to find out that she spoke pure Ngwa to her children and what not but to non-Ngwa she spoke Central Igbo. So yeah, its not only Ngwa that are like that but most Igbos. When with others, they speak Central Igbo but when in the midst of their own they speak their dialects.

As for you Nri Priest, I have to admit, I find Idenmilli interesting and "sweet" in it's own way. Normally, Anamra dialects are easy to understand but they have their exceptions. In reference to what you wrote: what's "rinne"? Is it the same as "nile"? And when you wrote "onye chilu ya zelu", is it the same thing as "onye chiri ya zere"? And lastly what significance does that statement have. I understand the literal but what's is the idiomatic expression behind it?
reminds me of a friend i grew up in owerri with.he is from ohafia but spoke the general igbo been spoken in owerri but whenever i visit his home and he starts discussing with his parents i would not be able to understand 50% of what they are saying

I tend to think that Peter Obi is somehow irresponsible; not in managing money o. He is not responsible enough to understand the CURRENT possibilities of Anambra state. He sees himself as this village headmaster making sure that basic things are provided prudently.
A great administrator would still be financially prudent, provide basic infrastructure, and still transform the urban cities of Anambra state.
Also Anambra is yet to develop "happy hour" infrastructure which attract people to want to live there.
I expect a great Anambra governor to ingeniously mobilize private capital to develop new areas.
I think they've started developing the "Anam New City", but it would take a while to attract enough attention.
anam city is a private initiative not government.

if you ask me anambra is paying the price of not having a previous governor(including old anambra state) that desinged any form of masterplan for onitsha at least giving that nnewi and awka might not have gotten prominence at that time.

what i am trying to say is this at that time i am sure enugu already had a plan.so what stopped nwobodo from designing another one for the second important city of onitsha?remember that sam mbakwe designed for umuahia, aba and owerri at the same time.yes aba has detoriated badly(due to incomptence of both civilian and military guys that came later) but at least it has a template to work on.onitsha has none until now.ask yourself why did other former anambra governors from 1991 not deem it fit to draw a master plan for onitsha let alone awka and nnewi.

obi has done it.it is left for an incoming one to implement it(that is if thinking of continium  matters to will come next).obi might have his reasons for trying to uplift the rural areas.remember too that there are other important competing needs that sucks money especially education.

It's cool you don't have such information, however, that is my whole point; you don't start putting infrastructures in place when you haven't given people a reason to establish a local presence first. In the cycle of economy, people need to have a reason to establish a presence first (service, finance, entertainment, agriculture industries,  government, etc), after such presence has been established, then there's a need and reason for infrastructures.

Rivers/Lagos/Anambra/Abia already created reasons to establish a presence. Rivers is an oil state, Lagos is the center of it all because because made it that way, Anambra on the other hand is into manufacturing/capital base, while Abia takes the center front of all types and capability of manufacturing (I might be wrong with my analysis and I'm open to correction). Therefore, infrastructures is paramount to the future progression of these states, building infrastructures without identifying your niche industry, without giving people a reason to to establish a presence is so dangerous, high risk alert.

This is where the "What-If", a significant part of risk comes into play. Just because IMO built a $100 million tunnel (road and rail), doesn't mean I will relocate or establish a presence in IMO, nor pay taxes or tolls in IMO, something has to spur me( a niche industry/field(s). Now, that's my own argument all along which is why I asked, HOW DOES IMO CITIZENS AND IT'S GOVERNMENT INTEND TO PAY THEIR DEBT WHEN THEIR IGR IS REALLY LOW?

Let's put into perspective, assume IMO gov identifies their industries as Tourism/Travel, Entertainment/Recreation and Services (health care), if gov is gradually developing all these industries with minimal loans rather than massive debts, don't you think it will make perfect sense that he can gradually generate revenues from here? As people come to the states, IMO generate revenue. If IMO builds Sea-World with classy teaching and research education facilities, don't you think Sea-World will have close to 1/4 million visitors annually?
you are not wrong in abia's analysis

that is my fear for borrowing for a state like imo state.anambra and abia can afford to do that because they have carved a nich for themselves where wealth can be generated but for imo it is not yet clear though.

Enugu is the 4th poorest state in Igboland, yet her people can obviously afford to buy from the MALL (otherwise investors won't invest there). You can imagine when the Govts of Abia, Anambra and Imo-states whose average inhabitants are wealthier than those in Enugu - will wake up to similar strides?

Onlytruth:
I thoroughly mulled over what I'm about to say now because I don't want to add fuel to the fire burning down the unity of Igboland. Nevertheless this information is important and would help give insight about this mall.
My initial fear about it is encapsulated in my little analyses below.

I therefore swear, that everything I shall say below is the TRUTH, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
So help me God.

About Enugu city:

Enugu is my "home" town, as it is the same for every Eastern Nigerian. So, I would not lie against it.

Right now, with me, is a lady visitor (an indigene of Enugu state) who come to spend Christmas with us here in the States. She was there when this mall opened and (being of high income status) she frequented there before coming to visit us here. She owns a hotel on Chime Avenue in Enugu. She tells me that Enugu babes now shop once at Shoprite, and then save the plastic bag. When next they go to Ogbete main market, they brandish the bag along the way as if they just shopped at Shoprite! grin grin It is allowed now. cool

When I inquired after her hotel and business generally, she told me pointblank, "Ego adiro na Enugu" (there is no money in Enugu). She was saying it with some sadness in her voice. She told me that Enugu is a "civil servant town".
Her hotel (quite a great looking hotel cool ) charges from N6000 to N15,000 (lowest to highest rooms). At that point, I recalled that a hotel (far less in quality) was charging a minimum of N10,000 in Nnewi.
I consoled her and told her that we are lobbying the federal government seriously for the Enugu International Airport to come on stream fast so we can locate businesses in Enugu. I tried my best to convince her to stay in Enugu and wait for the coming transformation. She says that Enugu is changing daily though and things are moving up slowly for the town (she reassured me to keep faith).

I hope that some of my Enugu state brothers understand that Enugu is not just an Enugu state property, just like Onitsha is not only an Anambra state property. We are ALL developing it and lobbying for federal government projects to be located in them (river port at Onitsha and airport at Enugu). It is the height of idiocy for any individual to come and start beating chest over what we all achieved together both in Onitsha and Enugu.

About Onitsha city:

It is clear fact that Onitsha is batting far below capacity due to the strategy of development ( I say ineptitude undecided) of Peter Obi administration in Anambra state. Yes, Peter Obi is developing rural Anambra state, but what about the urban cities? Ha emelu aru? huh angry Who says that he cannot develop BOTH urban and rural part of the state simultaneously?

Another thing is that Onitsha needs to host at least ONE University, because the level of illiteracy in that town is appalling. That is what gives the impression that there is no money in Onitsha, when in fact it may have more private money than any other Eastern town. One University located there would gradually change the population and create an educated residents who can set up corporate businesses more.

Here I stand. cool
money needed to fund the masterplans of those cities seem to be high though.

illiteracy in onitsha is more of poor secondary school education than having a university in my own opinion unless you are talking of having an ansu campus in onitsha rather than having a whole new university built.

I ask you again, is building tightly packed 4 storey buildings riddled with filth your definition of development? Ask any body from anywhere in Nigeria if they would rather live in Enugu State or Anambra State and you would be surprised at the answer.

Nsukka is a titan and can hold it's own against any town in Anambra. Nsukka is a developed LGA that houses the biggest University in Nigeria and whose sons and daughters are some of the most educated in Igbo land so Nsukka is fine.

If you have no idea, development begins with good roads and others follow and in that area, Enugu State has an A. You people should first create means through which peeps can access your towns and then we can come and view the alleged development in your cities.

I am from Nkanu and the road from my house in Enugu Urban up to the door step of my House in the village is tarred and clean so i would take that over congested four storey buildings, bad odour and mass illiteracy.

We do not gloat over material things and we spend money like people who actually have a functioning brain so materialism which reigns supreme in Anambra is laughable to us in Enugu. Fact still remains that Enugu State is much more pleasant place to be anytime of the year than Anambra. How many Enugu people do you see living in Anambra but you guys are crowding our cities here with that local gidi gidi business mentality. Thank you but we prefer to stay educated and simple.

Enugu has less population and more land mass than Anambra so it wouldn't be a mystery to know that cities won't be congested with four-storey buildings coupled with bad air and odour. They live free and you may not know but we love our lives that way.

We tend to, most of the time, elect intellects to power who can actually perform (see Jim Nwobodo and Sullivan Chime excluding Chimaroke), and not thugs and local business men like Anambra.

You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves, even with all your Soludo and Akunyili, Anambra remains in perpetual state of under-development and over bloated sense of importance.
